How will the terrain surge abilities be handled now that they have wider distribution? Assuming they will just not be available on their respective setters until post-game? I suppose Defog will not clear terrain either like it does in gen 8 (and that's only reasonable) but it can't hurt to ask about that either.

Enabling party debug does not require PBS and takes less than 10 seconds (literally) of modification to the scripts. I will not post that modified version here as the OP expressly chose not to include it, but you can easily look up the solution.

Will there be any future episodes with more of a focus on Melia? (as the focus generally felt as though it shifted away from Melia after v10, despite her omnipresence)

Thousand Arrows, a spread move in double battles, only targets one Pokemon in the Hippowdon battle. Think this is an issue in the move's data itself, as using Thousand Arrows myself also requires a target in Doubles.
