Cant figure out what to do after I get to grand dream city? I've looked around a bit and been shown the apartment by Rhodea and Huey, He said something about meeting the other roommate when I left the apartment but now I cant find them and everyone else is just staying in the apartment :/

Does anyone know how to change the difficulty? I set it to casual but it's too easy, I found online that you can change it in Gearen lab but I'm pretty sure I've spoke to everyone but had no option to change it. (Sorry if this has already been asked)
