Maybe Ame nerfs the fist challenges for balance reason since now the game is longer, in a way that the difficulty curve is more spread out? Btw the gulpin line with its defences, yawn and acid spray is really the best for the early game.

He will probably pass the next boss battle, maybe with some deaths. Right now I'm chuckling every time he disses gust on Jacques since it will be his best weapon against Corey if he finds all the policemen (I think he will since he's starting to be more careful to sidequests)

I'm loving his playthrough for his energy and excitement, he reminds me of myself on my first run. Sadly I fear he'll lose the locke soon, I remember having to start over after Taka+Zel fight a couple times in my attempt to nuzlocke and I had played the game normally before

Rules/field effect: 6/6 with no/random fields is ok but I'm open to experiment other styles. I'm a beginner trying to improve, I like changing teams frequently to try different playstyles. I'm getting my hands on EV training and breeding so that's what I'll use.
