Two things: The site had a revamp 6 or so months back so all rep before then was wiped like my uhh...I think I had 800 or so rep. Something really high. The other thing is that rep may only update daily so getting rep won't increase it instantly.
Unless if the posts were made before the site update, that shouldn't be happening. Feel free to send me a link of what you're talking about and I'll have a look at it
