  1. After being picked up from Rio Friedhold decides to look around the castle and see if he can find something to eat. Friedhold enters the Ballroom/Kitchen.
  2. After reviewing the Reactor Morgan becomes distracted by the strange room and follows Mar & Michael Mot.
  3. Morgan tags along, taking a few moments to marvel at the Reactor in the Throne room before moving on to the Engineering bay.
  4. "Coincidence, fate, or mechination of the dragons we're here now, you sound like you could use all the help you can get, and I've not exactly got something better to do." Morgan takes a sip from the smoking glass. "And plus, I know how to navigate the void."
  5. When Navin ask for his name Morgan shakes his hand and introduces himself. After Masaru speaks "Well I can't say I've heard that one before. I'm on a quest myself, you see some...thing attacked my home-world, it killed many people and enslaved their lifeless bodies in a way unlike any Necromancer. We drove it away but failed to kill it, I've been chasing it this far but sadly I'm out of leads."
  6. Friedhold rips of the hat and immediately begins coughing up the last vile dregs of beer. The child however wanders over to "the purple lady covered in guts" and stares at her with large glazed over silvery eyes that look almost possessed, after what feels like an hour of a soul piercing stare she speaks up with ten voices at once "Thank you, but you need to leave now...You need to leave or the scary lady will put you in time out" she hushes to a whisper "Or maybe nap time like octopus man." She then tilts her head slightly, turns and skips off to inspect the corpses.
  7. Morgan looks over to Navin "Man, you look like you took the brunt of the beating, let help you with that." ((Uses Soul Mend)) "There, you should be better now." He walks to the counter "Hey, can I get some of that 'Screaming Devil Stew' to go?" Once he gets it he blinks upstairs, gets his drink, and finds Masaru. "I don't mean to pry, but you seem to have quite the odd group here even for this place's standards. I'm just curious as to what the story behind it is."
  8. "I assune that means my drink is on the house then?" Morgan gustures upstairs as he walks over and picks up both a dropped book and turquoise rod laying on the ground.
  9. "You're finally shut up now." Morgan shouts at the pile of ashes, he turns back to the group of fighters and says "Thanks, that guy to starting to give me headache." He cleans any grime off his sword, sheathes it, and then extends a handshake to Masaru "Name's Morgan. I'm going to be honest, I haven't seen fighting like that since the battle for the Northgate Spires."
  10. Morgan draws his sword and phases out of reality, he rematerializes behind the distracted Archlich and slashes at its back several times before disappearing again a reappearing near Masaru and Navin. Morgan uses "Teleport Splicer" on the Archlich for 5d10+(Str*2.5) damage.
  11. An audible sigh can be heard from above as the ArchLich continues to speak, followed by a glass being set down on the bar and the sound of a coat shuffling around as someone stands. ((OOC: Morgan prepares to enter battle at the start of next round.))
  12. As your eyes adjust to the strange room you begin to notice things you could have sworn weren't there before, decorations, tables, lesser beings hiding in the shadows, etc. all appear before you as you look around at the ever expanding room. One new feature that stands out the most is the advent of a staircase made of glass, hard-light, or some other mostly translucent material that leads up to a bar on a loft level that only covers about half the room. The only being you can see sitting at the bar is a large creature, nearly seven feet tall and half as wide, draped in a thick leather coat and leaning over some smoking beverage. Those who can detect magic even slightly would note a strange energy radiating from it, something unnatural to make your stomach twist, your skin crawl, and spine tingle.
  13. Friedhold struggles against the vile liquid being shoved down his throat for a few seconds before realizing that it's futile and turning his anger toward the Trespassers. Lightning pours from his outstretched hand, arcing and dances across the ground as it flies towards the Trespassers impacting with both of them. Friedhold uses "Extended Electro Bolt II" dealing 1d6+[Int](12) electric damage to the Shoggoth and half that to Bob, [Int](12) vs [Con] on failed save target is stunned, -6 Eve(10/16), -3 Adam(1).
  14. After releasing the insects Friedhold slumps down some looking very pale and exhausted, he breathes deeply for a few seconds before digging into one of his pockets and pulling out a large syringe full of thick looking blue liquid with a hypodermic needle. He pulls the cover off the needle and preps the solution before sticking himself in the arm and injecting the entire contents of the syringe. His veins begin to glow an electric blue as the liquid flow through them and into his body, almost immediately he looks energetic again and ready for battle. He recovers the needle and returns the syringe to his pocket. Friedhold uses his "Eve Hypo" bauble to restore [Syn]*2(8) Eve(now 12/16).
  15. Do you think levelx5 would be appropriate scaling for the flaw? and I'll reword it because it's suppose to deal damage every turn taken beyond two. My train of thought for Suffer was that it's triggered by dodging, so upping dodge chance seemed better than simply upping damage. I can do that. Maybe a little kill stealing, but if it keeps the the boss from killing half the party in one final hit I don't think people will mind.(I don't look at it as insta-kill as much as "a chance to deal massive damage but only if that damage would kill your target".) Honestly I don't know much about healing balance in this game and I wanted a healing action quick so I just threw something together based on what I found others having.
  16. A slightly battered looking Friedhold takes and eats the flower, after swallowing he simply says "Thank you" and with a small nod turns back to the Mecha to unleashes another cloud of wasps, bees, and hornets that begin ferociously attacking it. I use "Insect Swarm II" on the Mecha, it deals 2d4 poison damage each turn over [Int](6) turns, -10 Eve(2/16).
  17. Friedhold staggers back from the attack, that thing could hit harder than a big daddy and it seemed to hit everyone a once. He stands up straight and says to the Mecha "Alright, since you want to play that game." He draws in enough wind and force around his left hand that it seems to distort the air around him, he then releases it to create a shock-wave that sends rocks and spent bullet casings flying into the Bastions and Trespassers before impacting with them itself staggering them backwards if not knocking them flat. I'm using "Sonic Boom" on all five enemies knocking them prone until their next turn and dealing [Int](6) sonic damage, costs 2 Eve(10/16). Prone enemies lose defensive bonuses from abilities like "basic defense", and lose dodge bonuses(at GM's discretion) until their next turn, abilities with multi-turn activation are also interrupted.
  18. Friedhold fires a steam of icy particles from his offhand aiming for that mass of eyes and teeth. I'm using "Winter Blast" Make an [Int](6) vs [Con] save, if the target fails they become chilled to the bone and take +25% damage for [Int]/2 (3) turns, extra damage is cold, costs 6 Eve.
  19. Friedhold pauses only briefly to see if anyone else had something to add before speaking up again "Reasonable point, in that case if you wouldn't mind assisting Ana and Symmetra Sombra, and as everyone else seems satisfied with the plan I suggest we move quickly, lest we have more bodies than graves." He checks the ammo in his gun as he speaks and as he finishes speaking he looks around at the people standing before him then with a slight nod he turns and slowly starts walking toward the battlefield.
  20. Friedhold sighs, why is this never easy? He then steps forward and turns around to address the whole group, "Miss Symmetra forgive my base understanding of hardlight technology, but if given access to a large enough power source you would be able to completely decimate our current opposition correct? If so this is my plan: You, Isobel, LOTUS, and Ana will make your way to the rooftop of one of the nearby buildings, link into the power-grid of the building, and create some sort of railgun or cannon to destroy these..." He trailed off for a moment looking for the right word, "Things. While they do that the rest of us on the ground will work on distracting these monsters, specifically we will try and bring down the creature made of teeth as it seems to be doing the most to hinder our teammates. Bridgett, whatever you did to TILT, could you do it again? I'm going to try and weaken the creature and make it more susceptible to damage. Sachi if you still have to bomb from the guard barracks now would be a good time to prepare to use it if things take a turn for the worst." He takes a deep breath and relaxes some before speaking again, "If anyone has something to add or a better idea please speak up, if not then let's get this done."
  21. "Well this is new." Friedhold said quietly as soon as the Trespassers came into. He paused a moment to pull the girl off his shoulder and set her on the ground, before proceeding to fully equip the Snowball and attach it to his weapon. After finishing he catches up with the group and starts examining the surroundings for high-ground, low-ground, defensive emplacements, escape routes, nearby empty buildings, convenient clusters of red barrels with "flammable" written on the side, really anything that could be remotely useful.
  22. Friedhold looks over to Symmetra and says "If you believe that would be the best choice so be it." then adds under his breath "I could use a positive experience with teleportation."
  23. Friedhold grabs the most complex and intricate looking project, favoring something small over something large. After sweeping up the last few loose pieces of whatever he found Friedhold walked quietly over to where he had left the little girl playing, "Play time is over little one" he says while removing what seemed to be the sharpest small object she could find from her hands and shoving it in his pocket. He then picked her up and set her on one shoulder, slung the Snowball over the other shoulder and started walking towards the door while addressing Ana "Is there anyway you could fly us closer to the fight before you setup for sniping?"
  24. After collecting his portion of the loot Friedhold looked around at the others bickering over what they were going to take themselves and sighed softly, they were lucky they'd made it this far and the chances of them making it out unscathed seemed slim at best. Getting this small rag-tag group to work like a proper team(though the tower mission seemed to be going well) would take either loss to drive them together, or a miracle, but that was something he knew you shouldn't bother waiting for. Friedhold shook his head, brought himself back to reality, back to the problems at hand. He decided to look around the labs some more, looking for any interesting chemical or material samples, research notes, or any other fancy science stuffs.
