  1. Tim glances over in Contagion's direction as they loaded their gun. "Oh, I didn't see you there before. Sorry...I guess." He looked back to see Lucine had just picked up a book. Something bound in metal and very old looking. "That looks interesting, any idea what it's about?" He took a couple steps over to get a closer look.
  2. Tim handed the textiles over to Lucine. "Yes, I just teleported here. I was sent by some mad screaming robot that called itself 'Doom' or something of the like. You may call me...Tim, the Transmuter. I spoke not long ago with a young man named 'Leo'. I came out to look for the other people here."
  3. Frigus looked over in the direction of the rather loud argument between Kusuke and Arminius. He thought Kusuke might've handled it better, but Arminius was just being needlessly aggressive for someone who hadn't every tried to do anything useful. Either way Mirri seemed to be keeping them in line so Frigus didn't see any need to step in unless things came to blows. So he walked to the back of the bus, pulled out the collection of Synthesis materials he'd collected up to this point and just inspected them.
  4. Tim nods then makes his way out of the room, he wanders the halls of the Skyship for a while before coming across a large room fitted with a massive power crystal and a young girl sleeping on some sort of magical circle. She seemed to be sleeping directly on the ground without any sort of bed or padding for comfort or warmth, and it wasn't exactly warm in this ship. So instead of just quietly walking past he stopped, quickly created a transmutation circle, flicked through the list of materials on the stone, and pulled out three bundles of thick and clean wool woven into blanket-like mats. After banishing the circle and entering the room proper he spoke up. "Excuse me, and I don't mean to alarm you, but I think you'll find these more comfortable than the cold ground."
  5. Tim shrugged at Leo's response then quickly glanced around the room again. "You mention there being other people on this...'ship'?" He shoved the Philosopher's stone back into one of his pockets and as he did the flames that made up the transmutation circle vanished. "Oh, and feel free to keep all of that."
  6. "Since we seem to be in agreement." Frigus reached up and put his helmet back on. "I guess everyone should make their way back to the bus sooner rather than later." With that(and assuming no objection) Frigus went to find everyone he could and tell them everyone was meeting at the bus to leave and help them get back there if needed.
  7. He took another bite of chicken before dropping it back into the circle. Once he swallowed again he bent down and started fiddling with the circle again. "Redstone? Well I guess it has lots of industrial applications. Hmm, well a Redstone crystal will take pretty much any energy input you give it, heat, light, even kinetic, and then resonate with any other crystals it's in contact with before finally releasing the energy, often as heat, light, electricity, or Redstone flux depending on how the system is setup. While it can occasionally be found as large single crystals the uses for them are very limited and more often people use smaller crystals ground to dust." By the time Tim finished talking there was a large pile of coarsely ground redstone dust sitting atop the transmutation circle. "Got anything I can use to scoop this up with?"
  8. Tim nodded. "Some things definitely sound similar." He then started looking closely at the pink stone while Leo thought of things to build, occasionally flicking his wrist over it like he was scrolling something. He started mumbling, only half to Leo and the other half to himself it seemed. "Hmm, I've got tin, lead, nickle?, steel, redstone, coal, bones, obsidian, oh, and lunch." He reached down into the circle and pulled out a leg of freshly cooked, still steaming, roasted chicken and bit right into it. After taking a second to swallow he spoke again. "Want anything? I've also got bread, steak, and porkchops in there."
  9. While Leo talks Tim bends down and begins pulling shards out of the circle, eight in total, then he pull an ingot of copper roughly the same size as the previous iron ingot. As Leo finished Tim collected up the materials and handed them over. "Here, copper is pretty cheap to make." He clearly tries to remember something for a second. "I know Apatite is used for making fertilizer by large farming operations, something about restoring minerals to the soil, the slime crystal is made by taking a slurry of dead slimes, dirt, and sand then cooking it down in a smelter. Now, you seem to be using something similar to the magic people called 'Thaumaturgists' in my world use. I don't know much about it other than that it drives you insane disturbingly quickly, an ailment you seem to have avoided. So what exactly did you just do there?"
  10. Tim watched Leo work with the Doombot scraps, shaping the metal down into ingots like mere clay as if it was nothing. It seemed to surprise or impress him at least a little. "That's a neat trick, I'd love to learn something like that at some point in the future." He reached over and took three of the iron ingots and leisurely dropped them onto the circle. "Anyway, I think I could get about four shards per ingot, assuming that this is actually Iron." He took a second to start poking through the white-ish sack and pulled out three stones, one green and two blue. "Looks like I might have found something interesting in this bag, Lapis Lazuli, Apatite, and.." He got a bit of a disgusted look on his face, "Slime crystal, green variety." He dropped each into the circle as he called them out, only to pull them out again a second later and offer them to Leo. "I've got no way of knowing if you've seen any of these before, so feel free to look them over. I don't remember where exactly I got them, though it was probably from the corpse of an adventurer who decided my wizard's tower was their next payday. I know the Lapis is used for dye making, the Apatite as a ingredient in fertilizer, and the slime crystal for making tools and weapons."
  11. "A living ship? Interesting though not the first time I've seen plants manipulated with magic into performing an advanced task. You mentioned something about a wreck to break down? What is it made of would you say?"
  12. Frigus looked back to the group. "Look, bad decisions where made, but now we need to figure out if we're staying or leaving, and as much as it hurts me to say this I don't think we'll be able to achieve anything by staying." He reached up and with a soft click pulled off his helmet revealing the concerned expression on his face. "Does anyone know where Lucille is? I can't imagine the explosion did anything good for her hearing."
  13. Tim catches the two shards and looks at them for a second before dropping them into the circle where they are instantly turned into mere motes of light. Then He bend over and reaches into the circle twice, once to pull out each shard. He talks while he works, answering Leo's first question. "Yes within reason. I have to have a sample of something before I can create it and there are a few other limits. Such as I can't affect anything with a soul or the more unique something is the more it's worth." He offers them back to Leo. "Here, though I'll tell you the metal is far more valuable to me than the wood. Ten times even." He paused for a second before continuing to speak. "Though the wood is far more valuable than say a piece of oak the same size, where did you get them if you don't mind my asking."
  14. Frigus climb off his glider after Kusuke and then dissipates it. He walked over to where the others were standing and thought for a minute. "I think I may have just remembered something that could help here." He wave his Keyblade over the several people suffering from blind/deafness quickly removing their ailments. "There, that should help."
  15. Tim reached up a tugged on his beard again. "Well, the simplest way to explain it is in two parts. First I can use this," He gestured toward the alchemical circle he just created on the floor, "to annihilate matter both imprinting the linked Philosopher's stone with a copy of what was destroyed and creating an amount of an abstract resource called 'EMC'. Second I can take the EMC stored in this stone to create copies of anything imprinted on it. I'm not sure what exactly I've got imprinted of this stone, it's been sitting in the bottom of my bag for at least two years." He shrugged as he said the last part. "So, got any requests or just want me to pull something random out?"
  16. "Golemancy you say?" Tim tilted his head some. "Judging by your lack of blatant insanity I'm going to guess you don't take the Thaumic approach I'm familiar with. Either way color me interested, I haven't exactly got the extensive setup I've got back home, but if you even want something changed into another thing or come across something interesting for me to add to my list of transmutations I can give you a hand with it." He reached into one of the many pockets on the inside of his cloak and pulled out a small golden sack, from which he removed another white-ish sack that was oddly larger than the first, from that sack he removed a small perfect sphere of some pink stone that burned with a white and red flame that didn't seem to bother his bare hands at all. He bent down to the ground off to the side somewhere and with a small flash of flames from the stone a complex and intricate magic circle was burnt into the floor. "Got any requests?"
  17. "We're on the roof. Umm, hold on a second." What Frigus did next Kusuke could only vaguely make out, but it sounded a whole lot like summoning his Keyblade glider. "Alright, let me give you a hand climbing onto my glider, and then uhh, don't let go." After doing just that Frigus climbed on himself and flew them both down the massive hole in the building and back into what was left of the test chamber.
  18. Frigus turned back when Kusuke didn't answer, it seemed the time-manipulator had been out cold and had only just now was coming to. "Oh, looks like you got knocked out cold. Here let give you a hand." Frigus took a second and waved a small healing spell over Kusuke. "If you're feeling up to it we should head down and see what exactly is going on, and more importantly who thought it was a good idea to throw fire down a tunnel full of their allies."
  19. The man quickly glanced in Snow's direction as she spoke then turned back to look at Leo. "You're telling me that crazy shouting robot wasn't just glitching out?" He reached up and tugged on his beard. "If that's true then I guess I'm stuck here so I should introduce myself. You can call me...'Tim', I am an Alchemist in my world, I specialize in Transmutation though I occasionally dabble in other forms such as Artifice or Potion making."
  20. Frigus raised a barrier over himself as the initial wave of fire from the newly evolved Soma washed over the party. The heat wasn't exactly pleasant, but nothing could be done for that. He took several steps after her before suddenly jumping up and summoning his Kayblade glider and flying up after Soma. He was about a third of the way there when Kusuke blinked past to stun what was Soma. So instead of giving chase to a flying flame cannon charging creatue Frigus decided to catch the time-manipulator and dive off to the side onto one of the open floors. Thankfully his armor's visor helped to protect against the flash of light and the barrier he raised against the concussive force of the explosion and any falling debris. Once the dust settled he relaxed slightly and turned toward Kusuke. "How you doing? Can you see or hear? Actually if you can't hear don't worry about answering." After getting a response Frigus made his way towards the edge to look for the Godeater and as a side effect heard Alyssa on the intercom. "I've got Kusuke and I'll see what I can do about the fire." He shouted down the hole through the building. Shortly after a fine cold mist came pouring down the hole and at least lessening if not outright putting the fires out.
  21. Sha'Tith walked up and down the ship, he didn't seem to be looking for anything in particular, simply making up for not exploring earlier. After some time he found a fairly empty, dark, and quiet room. He set the Pearl and long empty tube from his back off to one side and proceeded to curl up in the corner of the room to sleep, not the most comfortable, but at least the ground wasn't trying to actively digest him. After mere minutes a brief flash of bright red light could be seen coming from the room he was in, visible to anyone who happened to be nearby. Anyone who went to inspect would find the lizardman gone and both the long "Mortar Tube" from his back and the small greenish "Teleportation Pearl" still sitting on the floor in the room. Sha'Tith leaves the Skyship Weatherlight, he leaves behing his Mortar Tube and Teleportation Pearl items. About twenty minutes after Leo drifted off to sleep a loud *pop* and a couple soft footfalls could be heard in the room he was sleeping in. "What in the End just happened? and why am I not in DragonVale? I specifically calibrated the dimensional translocator to take me to DragonVale, wait.....I bet that damn cat messed with some of my wiring again." With a faint clattering the man took a good look around the room. He was wearing a long rich red cloak with gold trim and hood that managed to hide his face with almost disturbing effectiveness, leaving the only real visible part of it being his long brown goatee-like beard sticking out from underneath. He turned to face Leo(awake or asleep). "You there, excuse me Sir, I'm sorry for waking you, but um...where exactly am I right now?" "Tim" the Transmuter enters the Skyship Weatherlight.
  22. When Soma froze Frigus instantly relaxed and his Keyblade seemed to shift and phase out of existence, and then(like any sane person) he quickly moved toward the exit before Mirri filled the room with flames. He thought for a second on Mirri's request before coming to some realization. "I think I've got something." It was at this point Frigus pulled something bizarre and seemingly completely random out of his pocket, a fully inflated shiny purple balloon, string and all. Floating roughly level with the tops of their heads, he sent the balloon drifting across the room towards Mirri whom it immediately began circling. Bizarre though it may be, the balloon seemed to give Mirri the feeling of almost happiness, a sense of boosted morale, focus, and overall will to keep fighting on. Frigus uses "Balloon Letter" on Mirri, boosting her Ess stat by 7 for when she tries to learn "Force Sever".
  23. As Kusuke tried again to throw Soma back in time only to be knocked away again by the monster, then Harry speaking over the intercom, Frigus made his decision. "That's enough, Stop." He shouted from inside his armor. Then he lunged toward Soma, his Keyblade never quite making contact and instead phasing out of existence just before impact. With a soft grunt Frigus rotated his Keyblade a quarter turn and with it the sound of some massive clockwork machine whirring to life, only to stop as suddenly as it started with a soft *click*. He retracted his Keyblade and left Soma there, frozen in time. Frigus uses "Temporal Lock" on Soma and uses his "Heroism Point" to make the opposed check a 20vs1 in his favor. Temporal Lock: By thrusting the keyblade into an enemy or object and locking it tight, Frigus can cause the target to become locked in time, unable to affect or be affected by anything. This does not cause the target to stop being affected by orbital movement. Only one target can be locked at a time. Unwilling targets are entitled to an opposed essence check to resist. Targets can be unlocked in the same manner as they were locked. Heroism Point: Once per plot, guarentee a roll of 20 v 1 on your next non-crafting check as a free action.
  24. Frigus took a step back as Soma threw Kusuke away and Mirri stepped forward to fire stun round. He shouted from inside his armor, "If that doesn't work I've got another idea, just as non-lethal." He then took up a fighting stance, prepared to sidestep an attack or lunge at Soma if he needed to lock her.
  25. Frigus was trying(and failing) to come up with a decent comeback when Soma's implantation went wrong. He walked over to the window and planted his fist against the glass to little more than a dull thud. "I told her it was a bad idea." He quickly sighed and then with a flash of light he appeared in his armor with his TimeSpiral Keyblade in hand. "I'm going around to help in-case things get...worse." With that he left the observation room and went down the hall to the entrance of test chamber. He stepped into the room ready to help Kusuke in any way he could.
