Sigh... I know that I'm happier now compared to years ago, but I still experience the depressing feelings of being alone and not being good enough from time to time. On those days I just wish I can magically fix myself

When the opponent uses Meteor Mash, they land it. But when I opt for it, I end up missing.

Tbh I don't really mind if people like hetero/homosexual pairings or humanxnonhuman pairings, but it bothers me a bit when someone sends me nsfw photos of such pairings for no reason.

Yep. Will deactivate my social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) sooner or later. I can't stand the amount of toxicity I'm getting whenever I log in, and I'm not even interested making new and clean accounts anymore. For me, they're not safe to use them anymore.

Facebook is really getting very toxic these days. I could deactivate my account, but then I would miss some uni announcements if I did deactivate.

Seriously, social networking sites shouldn't be afraid to take action on such behavior. They've become havens for people with ill minded personalities. The least they can do is to immediately block/ban the involved user or something. I can't even log in to Facebook without seeing degrading content or groups that attack a certain set of people.

So to any writers out there, I need some advice. It just occurred to me that my plot twist I've been planning for a while is very similar to another well known one. I could easily go through with it, or change the gender of one of the characters who has no established gender. What would you do?
-
In my opinion, even though that cliche is overused, if you can make it execute well in your story and it would actually make sense to the plot, I don't see why you should change it. On the other hand if you're really worried about it being too overused to the point that your story wouldn't look original anymore, you could change the gender of the main character/villain or change the relationship (ie., from brother/sister to cousin or something).

That feeling when you're tasked to judge a public speaking performance and you don't know how to be harsh in grading performers.
