  1. "Uhh, I don't mean to be a debbie downer or anything, but, like, you're evil, right? Or at least, you're acting like it." Dackly says, scratching her cheek. Both Cap and Gozer merely stand next to her, silent for different reasons.
  2. "...Quiet. Very quiet and peaceful." He says. "Whether it was... reading holographic logs, or... herding Yakows." "It was always very quiet." She probably doesn't know enough to think that him mixing up herding and superscience is odder than anything else about him, he ventures in his mind. "Aside from the odd Lurker, uh, these big, frog-guys, who are quite violent. Aside from them, not much really went on, back home." "I certainly didn't want things to get too, er, interesting, but even back then, I had to admit that it was a bit boring, just learning about Eco, and doing Chores."
  3. Mar simply stalks up behind, to Alexandria's side, staring impassively at the gangsters with an arm behind his hunched back and another arm on his walking cane. The monofillament Glaive hidden underneath it's large, sandstone cap.
  4. Law, meanwhile, eventually manages to wrangle his heart rate down to something sensible as Freya essentially holds him like a children's toy. He finds it isn't nearly as uncomfortable as it quite frankly should be. Squirming in her grip, he climbs up and onto Freya's shoulder, relieving her arm of it's burden.
  5. Law flops on his back, dropping out of the tree and just heaving deep breaths, staring up at Freya. "We gotta get out of here, Freya, I think Lucine might still be after me."
  6. "I assure you that Soil does not fight as I fight." Gozer explains. "No matter. Let us move."
  7. "Do you believe you could navigate above the tunnels?" "I am able to phase through the ground. If I were directly above the area, I could simply go directly down through the soil and retrieve it." Gozer says.
  8. "AAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHH" his screams drown out Freya's offers of help as he desperately struggles against the rodent.
  9. "Get off of me, you little tree rat!" the tree rat says, heaving with all his might against the violent squirrel, trying to pull the beast up over his head, stuck to the shield.
  10. "O-oh, uh, nice... squirrel?" Law says, scrambling to reshape his Precursor Multitool into some kind of weapon, changing it into something like a Velcro-covered shield. He backs away, almost stumbling as he reaches the end of the branch. Damn, if only he brought his weapons with him!
  11. Law, in a state of panic, tries to climb a tree, Surely the small terminator child can't get him from up there!
  12. At the sound of Rapid Footsteps, Law's brain entirely shuts off and he scrambles over the box of tools, screaming his head off as he runs into the woods, to escape the nanomachine filled agent of death surely chasing directly after him to bring him harm.
  13. "M-Mam, I'm pretty sure it's not a literal grail, not even nanotechnology could turn someone into a cup, I don't think!" Law shouts at her second stage of blubbering, trying to get a hold on the situation, and also backing up, sad people are a prime subject for suddenly transitioning into violent people, and Law doesn't want to be violence by the spitting image of emotional instability. "Look, I uhh, I can..." Law scampers over to his box, digging out several glowing-white canisters. "I can get to work on the bioscanner i-immediately, please don't do anything d-d-drastic! This stuff is White Eco, it's the stuff we precursors use for our own bodies, h-h-highest quality! J-just some scans and some programs, a-and we can get that stuff all sorted out!" Law panics.
  14. "Hmm." "I'd like you not to panic, but your blood contains no less than two inbuilt functions to terminate you." "I believe you may be the victim of a nano-hazardous attack. Your blood is capable of overclocking, termination, termination and disposal, and three options that I am unaware as to their exact purpose, something about activating a "Grail" Function, and a "Servant Storage" function." Law scratches his little chin. "If I knew more, I would suggest immediate removal, and addition of upgraded nanomachines to purge the infected tech from wherever else they might be hiding." "Without examining your genome and cells, however, I cannot say for certain the exact medium by which these function."
  15. "Hmm, well, that... Could explain it?" "These might be harmful, have you noticed any strange cravings, lethargy, loss of energy?" Law says, grabbing his scanstave, and waving it over her.
  16. "Well, look, see here?" Law points to the small, lumpy bits of micromachinery that are floating around in her bloodstream. "Those are artificial, nanomachines. They aren't very high quality, though... I hope you didn't pay too much for them."
  17. "Uhh, hold on." Law pulls out a heavy metal orb, reshaping it into a small needle with a giant handle. "T-this should work." He says, pricking her with it, and sticking the needle into the machine to register her blood. Looking at the readouts, his eyes widen. "Looks like you've already got some mods... Where'd you get those from? These aren't very good." He says, squinting at the visual reading of crude looking nanomachines in her blood.
  18. "I accept it with both grace and intense greed." She smirks, snatching it and tossing it up and down in her hand. Dumb little dorks, handing over stones of sacred power. "I am not certain that stone contains elemental power." Gozer claims. "Well duh, you know these hokey relics need some kind of spiritual awakening or revelation or some junk to activate them." She says. ("I think it's just a rock?") Cap whispers to Gozer. ("Very likely.") "I believe we should seek the Earth Stone first. I am an Earth Elemental. It makes sense that I may be suited to rapidly obtain it." Gozer says. Gozer tests if he still has the ability to phase through earth.
  19. "But... IS there a Stone Stone?" "Don't you little dorks try to hide it from me, there's totally a Stone Stone, isn't there? There's Earth and Rock already, so it's not like it can get MORE redundant." Dackly says, giving them a sour, suspicious look.
  20. "Nope!" Dackly giggles. "But we're the best darn fighty guys you'll ever see." "Who needs Toa or whatever they're called when you've got people like us?" Cap says, buying into the hype as he flexes an arm. "We may have talents which are useful in aiding you."
