  1. Dackly, meanwhile, seems to have stumbled onto something glorious. "Well now, what is this?" she says, looking at the glowing weapons, and various looted treasures, just sitting out in the open. Her grin widens when she reads the label on the bottle of Sovereign Glue.
  2. "It is not magic that allowed me to do this, though I can use it in tandem with magic." "Through over twenty years of practice within my tribe, I have learned to tell by touch, by sight, and even by sound how to strike an object perfectly." "Anything I can strike, I can apply my Flintknapping Ability to." Mar explains. "In my home world, those among us who can perform magic-which-is-not-magic are known as Mundanus Extremus, we who possess Mundane Abilities at anomalous levels of talent by practice alone." "The Stonerist Chi teach our children the art of Flintknapping, but there exist other Orc tribes who have their own specialties." Mar struggles to think of an example, before nodding and speaking. "The Beastlaim tribe have trained and bred mundane dogs so well that within their training, they learn to perform calculations and simulations on command, and recite barks and movements between one another and their handlers, giving them unparalleled talent in management, for instance."
  3. Mar nods, Smiling. "I will show you my tribe's sacred art. The power, of the Stonerist Chi." Mar fishes around, pulling out a large chunk of obsidian, a bone horn, a piece of leather, and a chunk of Moonsilver ore. After going and bringing in a large creature, he makes a shallow cut in the beast's artery, draining some blood into a bowl, and mixing it with fragments of silvery stone and metal, before chugging the whole thing, chuckling with a slight hiccup. Tapping Edmond with a boomerang, Edmond feels a curious confusion overtake him, while Mar grows more unhinged. He takes this time to meditate, light slowly growing from his body as he takes a single, deep breath, before finally being ready. With a sloppy grin, he strikes the piece of obsidian, and, with a quiet tinkle that reverberates through the castle, it falls apart into The Chisel. "With a shingle blow, I have struck the exshackt point of the shtone by whitsh it would crack into this tool" he explains, showing it to Edmond as his senses return, and Mar sobers up.
  4. "Very Well." Mar grows a simple kettle from Synthetic Adamantium, giving it to Atton.
  5. "Do not forget, I am no magician, truly." Mar admits. "My true skill lies in Flintknapping. If you have need of something broken perfectly, or to make broken fragments of something which cannot normally be fractured, I would be far more serviceable in that regard." For Atton, Mar produces a piece of Synthetic Adamantium. "What would you like made of this, for your testing?" Mar asks.
  6. "I can... check." Mar says, thinking. Pulling out a chunk of Lapis, and a piece of chocolate, he mixes the energies from them together, creating a purple, brown mass of liquid energy. "This magic will cause a fever, intense and uncomfortable" "It may cure spiritual maladies." He says, looking to Lancer.
  7. "Silicon pretending to be Hydrochloric Acid, yes." "I can produce something, if you have a blueprint I can emulate in cracking the components." Mar says, flicking a piece of glass into a fractal sculpture as example.
  8. "I wouldn't wish that on a Trespasser" Mar only slightly jokes. "I have not yet tested it, but I may have a substance resistant to bullets that I can produce." Mar says to Atton and Alexandria. "Synthetic Adamantium absorbs kinetic energy, and slowly releases it as heat." At Alexandria's request, Mar digs up a jar filled with a preserved stomach and an oil covered rock, channeling his power into them, he creates a bottle of pure hydrochloric acid. "Will this work?"
  9. Mar's eyes widen, and, pulling something hazy from their chest, they touch it to the objects. The malachite makes inanimate objects sprout fuzzy hairs, the Gold tooth cures food poisoning, the Ruby detects counterfeit things, the Sapphire can mark objects with a white, star shaped mark, and the Amethyst... Dear lord it creates Elemental Sobriety. "These Mana types will be useful to me. Producing fuzz, curing poison, detecting falsely made things, marking objects, and..." "The last one will not be very useful, I don't think." he grimaces. "It causes sobriety."
  10. "Size is not an issue. My magic relies on material samples to warp it's effects, so long as the sample is visible, I can make use of it." "When I attune my Mana to a Diamond, Blue or White, it creates a prized type of healing mana. I believe it might be prudent for me to obtain yet more colored samples of diamond. I currently only have White, Blue, and Yellow." Mar explains. "Admittedly, I lack lore relating to the chemical nature of diamonds, and am unaware of what colors there may yet be."
  11. "I can directly produce it." Mar says, taking out a chunk of pure silicon and beginning to grow it with his magical energies. "Hmm, Say, Alexandria, can you produce Diamonds?" Mar asks, contemplating.
  12. Mar simply sets the sphere in front of Plancer, like a crystal ball in front of a psychic. "Go on then, the light will bend to your will."
  13. Mar, meanwhile accidentally creates a small screaming pebble as he tries to help with giving Plancer better communication. Crushing this pebble, he tries again, mixing the Screaming Rock creating magic with Glowing Red Magic. The end result is a fragment of glass that emits soft whispers. When he holds it to his ear, and tries to make it say "Ice Cream", or "Alchohol", all that comes out is a faint " t a s t y" "Does anyone here know how to create a sound amplifier?" Mar asks, holding up the large fragment of pinkish glass. "This glass might allow for crude communication, as it turns intentions into sound." At the same time, Mar creates a largeish orb that emits a beam of light, which warps and twists whenever anyone thinks at it. "And a hologram, controlled by intentions and willpower."
  14. Mar Chuckles. "That's fair. When one comes from the Stonerist tribe, you grow familiar with the things that do." "I suppose, to narrow my request, substances which are worthy of note to someone as learned as yourself in the modern era. What is Kevlar?" Mar asks. "If it is good enough for a vest, perhaps it could be made even better by granting it other properties?"
  15. "You'll be fine." Dackly dismisses Solomon's concerns with a giggle. "Let's get to work, shall we?"
  16. She shrugs again "And what you saw was me palling around with a new friend." "I'm quite the fearmonger in a real fight" she grins, turning all the walls in the room to stone as she walks out with Solomon as a power play, Gozer's large, stone body standing between her and him.
  17. "Eh, I'm wearing like, three enchanted regenerative trinkets." She shrugs flippantly with a sweet grin. "And Gozer here would have just started rock-blocking you while I pelted you with these." She glares at the slowly melting remains of ice magic, petrifying it to stone. "I don't suppose you kept any Soft on you, just in case?"
  18. "Yeah, old Gozy was playing around before, since we thought you were, you really could have gotten your potatoes mashed, kid!" Dackly chastises.
  19. "Aw, you'll make me blush, Solomon" Dackly says, her face not showing even a trace of the previous ugly form it took before, now back to being as smooth and cute as a button, her single giant eye blinking repeatedly as she cuts a look. "Now Bend over." She demands of Solomon. "I need your hair to make the Binding."
  20. Gozer speaks up. "We are using Magic to seal the dark powers of an object we came upon. It's malice is great enough that we are using Solomon's own blood, willingly given, to bind it with his raw, purest essence, so it can no longer harm innocent people." Gozer explains.
  21. "I do not fully agree, but I believe we should press on, yes." "Those so weak they beg for mercy are too weak to give you the violence you hunger for. So what if their power is great, their lack of ambition and fighting spirit would make even a strenuous battle hollow."
  22. "Wait, they were attacking?" Dackly says, putting a finger to her chin, confused. "Yes, Dackly. They were attempting to slay you." "Oh." "And destroy the crackpot." "YOU WHAT!?" Dackly erupts, being held back by Gozer.
  23. Mar, Meanwhile, his task complete, set to do more experiments. After some coughing and dust, Mar manages to Transmute air into Pyrogel, a lightweight, hot material. "No... this is not a Crystal made of air." Mar says, frowning. "It seems I have yet more to discover of Transmutation." He comments, mostly talking to himself aloud. "I assume one of you might know of substances worthy of noting that do not contain silicon?" "I can alter the properties of such substances."
  24. Dackly, grinning, glares at the ice, her face turning from a cute green cyclops to the very face of satan themselves, a malicious wrinkled monsterous visage coming over her as a green beam of light flies from her face. Dackly uses Petrify on the Blizzard! The Mass of half petrified crystaline ice slams into her, sending her flying into Gozer's waiting limbs. The Earth Elemental's outstretched arm blocks the ice, cracking both Gozer's stone arm and the ice "Aw, thanks Gozer." She says.
