Oh hey, Community is apparently done.

What are the best water types for Ep. 17/18? and where do ya get em?
-
Swords dance, Outrage on Garchomp is so broken. Especially if it's jolly for speed with a life orb. Another set could be rocky helmet and full defense for the set up. It can seriously mow down one or two pokemon who are not expecting it. And if something comes out that is weak against earthquake or stone edge before you use outrage then it's just free kills.
-
Usually Garchomp is used in OU.
If you're talking about reborn then every trainer doesn't have a fairy type so that's invalid.
If you're talking about other fan games then Garchomp is still broken and sweeps many teams with this set.
In every case these sets of Garchomp are correct so idk what you assumed.

With the shifting of magnemite to route 3, every single OU pokemon ever has been shifted to being obtainable only when your pokemon are guaranteed to be past level 60.
But you still have to battle a level 57 Tyranitar in full team of 6 pokemon for Luna. How fair and balanced!
-
If gym leader movesets are being changed to adapt to the placement previously available pokemon as not available then that's good.
I battled Luna in episode 15 and she had earthquake Tyranitar and all her pokemon were nicknamed. If the Tyranitar no longer has earthquake and we can see the actual name Tyranitar as being sent out then the battle is balanced because Crunch is the only 100% accurate stab move which is manageable.
Of course, Tyranitar is still a very broken pokemon and people scrambling to get Larvitar in episode 18 easily proves my point.
Hopefully other gym leaders have changes in their movesets as well if some of the other previously obtainable pokemon are now not available.

Well my point is that Magnezone is a very important member of all teams due to which literally any team is possible. You could use your favorite Pokemon with no issue because there was a strong backup.
Technically all gym leaders are not balanced but Tyranitar is way over the top, especially with all of Luna's pokemon being nicknamed so oddly. No matter how many weaknesses it has, Tyranitar has high hp, high attack and high defense. A special attacker is good to defeat it or you have to use a fighting type move which is not always available for a Pokemon. And if you don't have an appropriate counter, 3 pokemon will die to earthquake before Tyranitar kills itself. That is the most unfair pokemon strategy a gym leader could use.
And people saying tiers don't matter obviously haven't understood what tiers are. They are made so powerful pokemon are separate from weaker ones. Powerful pokemon have the ability to deal with maximum amount of Pokemon and situations effectively. OU is the most powerful group of non legendary Pokemon in existence. Meaning they have the capability to deal with any situation. And it doesn't take a smart AI to spam earthquake thrice and kill your team.

That Tyranitar outsped my Emboar and bodied it in one hit. It easily took on my greninja and okoed it. It outsped Nidoking for some reason and recked him. The only reason I could defeat it was because of sturdy Magnezone. And even then only because he used earthquake too much and the ceiling collapsed. That thing is broken.

My opinion on Cotton Candy prior to adding Mega Pinsir to my team:
"Eh, that's neat. Might as well grab a couple while I'm here."
My opinion on Cotton Candy after adding Mega Pinsir to my team:
"O, blessed be the almighty name of Amethyst, for deigning to impart this gift of ambrosia upon us pathetic mortals! May your computer remain whole, and your heart filled with mercy. Amen!" -

Comparison between Insurgence and Reborn team of easily available pokemon.
Easily available means something that is not a Gible level quest in reborn. Or a beldum level. That kind of stuff.
Insurgence team:
Blaziken (speed boost from friend Safari), Gyarados, Mega Hydreigon, Garchomp, Metagross, Armor Tyranitar.
Reborn team:
Emboar, Greninja, Noivern, Magnezone, Nidoking, Granbull.
(Emboar and Magnezone are super tough to get but the team is trash without them)
Yeah, Insurgence tiers are op. And you still struggle to beat bosses in Insurgence even with such a team fully EV trained and some perfect IVs.
Does this make reborn easy or tougher? Because some battles in Reborn are easy while gyms and bosses are taxing. But we don't get op pokemon without a lot of effort...
-
Using a full team of legendary Pokemon in OU which are in the OU tier doesn't help much in battles. That's surprising.
My team is Kyurem Black, Zapdos, Tapu Fini, Zygarde, Heatran and Mega Latios.
Zeroara really seems to be doing a number on this team but maybe a Magearna would help?

Are we anywhere close to the public release in this month? Or is is really in mid September?

Is it cheap using Starter Pokemon you get from Wonder Trading, I got a Poplio with Scald does that count as a ''cheap'' Pokemon to use trough the game?-
Here's a list of some Pokemon I wanna use I got from WT:
-Larvitar with Ddance-Shiny Skorupi
-Popplio-Bulbasaur
-Sneasel
-shiny Belsprout
Most of those Pokemon are breedjects, and I'm asking would it be cheap to use em, because some people got mad in a Discord because I used an Icicle crash Sneasel in the 2nd gym.

Not played episode 18 yet. How are the bugs so far? Anything major or game smoothly playable?

I wonder how Reborn would be without feild effects. The fights would probably be more interesting to do with less powerful pokemon because the opponent doesn't become a Hulk in the feild and you don't need a feild changer or a Pokemon of the same type as the gym to actually do good in the gym.

True it wouldn't be reborn then.
I absolutely enjoyed Insurgence though. The elite four was one of THE MOST intense battles I've ever had in a long long time. Especially trying to win without losing a pokemon. And the Champion was cool too. His pokemon were amazing and it was so hype when I actually survived an attack and got a revenge kill.
Not saying reborn doesn't have such moments but they are pretty rare. Only time such a thing happened to me was with Randomus and Luna. Rest of the the time I was kinda angry at the feild. In Insurgence it was there with most gym leaders and definitely against the Giratina cult leader.
That game was one game that did pokemon battling right.

what thread do I go to to shoot hands with everyone?

Hydreigon needs to get Quiver Dance. It gets roost for some reason so anything is fine. That'll make it viable in OU again.
