  1. Mug coming soon! How could you leave me when you swore that you would stay...?
  2. Dulcie picks herself up and climbs into Spirit's saddle (the horse whinnies with approximated concern). "Oh dear... that wasn't a very nice nap." She smiles warmly at Kris. "Thank you very much for the help, Kris. I'm extremely grateful." With things settled Dulcie rides to [L, 9] and uses some more of her vulnerary.
  3. “Wow, we’ve reached First Class so soon? I hope we have lots of opportunities for us to use our new abilities on the road ahead... I can’t wait to saddle up with Spirit again!” Dulcibella promotes to Bow Knight! Dulcibella gains access to her second personal skill, Perseverance. Dulcibella gains an extra 5% growth to her Strength stat. Dulcibella’s weapon proficiencies improve to Recurve (C), Bows (D).
  4. Dulcie creeps forward on the outskirts of some trees, stopping not far from where Seymour was. She gives him an excited wave before turning her attention to the approaching horsemen. Dulcie moves to [O, 14].
  5. Having adequately slathered that delicious paste upon herself, Dulcie retrieves her bow from the scholar. ”Thank you,” she says with real sincerity, “very much.” And with that the young archer strides her way around Fallon, delivering an arcing shot to the axeman there. Dulcie moves to [M, 13] and shoots the Fighter at [K, 13].
  6. ”Hmm... I should probably... but then I won’t have very much left for later...” Dulcie mutters to herself as she advances with the group, considering whether or not to heal herself. She’s so focused on the choice she bumps into Fallon. ”Then again, these bruises are quite distract— oh!” ”I’m so very sorry! I didn’t even see you there. Forgive me, Mister Fallon.” She pauses, looks to the side, and then makes up her mind. “...Hold this for me, please, wouldn’t you? Just for a moment.” Hardly waiting long enough for an answer, Dulcie thrusts her bow into the scholar’s arms and begins tending to her “wounds”. Dulcie moves to [M, 11] and uses a Vulnerary.
  7. Dulcie takes a moment to act, susprised at how she had stunned the fighter by shooting his axe out of his hand (and a little pained by her opponent’s attack) but now turning her attention to her injured ally. ”Here, Miss Ceridwen. This should keep you on your feet a little longer. ...Or, well, on your dragon.” Dulcie uses a vulnerary on Ceridwen.
  8. Looking around at the sounds of battle nearby, Dulcie spots an opportunity to attack the nearby axeman. ”Ah! Here’s an opening!” She dashes over (with a wave and a “Hello again!” to Ceridwen on the way), and prepares to fire an arrow at her target, smiling apologetically. ”This might hurt! I am very sorry if it does.” Dulcie moves to [N, 6] and attacks the Fighter.
  9. ”We’re doing good so far, everyone! Keep at it!” Dulcie calls to the allies still standing around her. “Now, what should I do...?” ”Hmm... it seems I don’t have any good options right now. I’ll stay put.” Dulcie stays put!
  10. Dulcibella stares after Kerr for a good ten seconds as he leaves without responding before she shakes it off. “Ah, too busy to talk? I understand. Another time, then! Meanwhile, I should move up myself.” She happily marches to [L, 7] and waves to the “enemy” soldiers before her.
  11. Dulcie, bless her heart, is clutching her bow like it’s a particularly treasured stuffed animal and constantly shifting her weight from foot to foot. ”Gaaahh, I’m so excited! I can’t wait to see what everyone can do on the field... Oh! I should wish us good luck!” The archer cups her hands to her mouth and jumps with all the distance her 5’0” frame can give her, shouting words of encouragement. “Good luck, everyone!! Do your best!!” She then turns to Kerr, still bouncing around somewhat. ”Do you think everyone heard me? I hope they heard me. ...Should I yell again?”
  12. ”Ah, I see. I understand your sentiment! Personally, I like to believe most people I meet are as kind as they appear, or if they aren’t that perhaps they are going on hard times. You never know the full story, after all.” ”I don’t like to keep secrets from others, either. It feels dishonest. I mean no disrespect to you, or anyone who does have them, of course! You are free to say what you wish, and to not say what you don’t wish to. It is no business of mine to tell you otherwise.” Dulcibella then turns to Argos and gestures her arms to him as if requesting something (which she proceeds to do). ”Mister von Bodin, what’s your feeling on the matter?”
  13. ”Oh, that’s interesting. And it’s your only name, I assume? How unusual!” Dulcibella says it in quite the positive way, and gives Kris an insquisitive smile at the way the latter says her name.
  14. Kris is given the same treatment: a smile and a quickly extended hand, ready to shake. ”It’s a pleasure to meet you too, Miss Kris. May I ask - is that your own name, or your family’s name? I find myself curious.”
  15. The young woman scratches her head at his explanation - she didn’t really understand a lot of what he was talking about. Sure, it was a cool sword, but... becoming like your sword? She wouldn’t really want to become a lot like her bow. Too stringy. Of course, she wouldn’t actually say any of this out loud and insult him. ”Well, perhaps I haven’t spent enough time with it yet, because I don’t feel like this is true of myself and my weapon. Maybe it will be in the future.” ”Oh, please. Don’t talk about yourself that way! I’m a person and I find myself definitely not hating you whatsoever. I think you’ve just had bad luck with meeting people, that’s all.” She then extends her hand with little warning and lots of speed towards Argos, a smile on her face. ”My great pleasure to make your acquaintance, Mister von Bodin. I humbly request you invoke mayhem upon our enemies, and not on myself, Dulcibella Mauro, mounted archer for the Allied Guard.” Anyone familiar with Gregminster’s trade families should know the name just spoken. ”Well, I suppose for the time being I’m only an archer, as my dear horse is currently suffering an injury to his leg.”
  16. She takes one final, loud breath, and straightens up. Her face instantly transforms from a labored animal to a sunny day, along with her demeanor. ”*GAAAAASP*” ”Oh, thank you. I thought everyone would be so cross with me! That’s very reassuring.” This woman takes the sword being thrust upon her in stride, accepting the blade and examining it carefully for a moment. ”Hmmm... I’m not quite an expert on swords as I am with bows, but giving this sword just a short glance, I can definitively tell you that...” ”This noble sword I hold in my two hands . . . “ “Is incredibly cool!!” The woman then shrugs, and gives it back to its owner. “I would still prefer my bow, though.”
  17. A young woman with long, wavy hair and a shortbow clutched in one hand rushes her way into the courtyard, out of breath. Stopping near the swordsman Argos, she blurts out an explanation that constantly trips over itself. “Gosh, I’m so sorry I’m late! I had to find a stable for my mount but the closest one was full up and so we had to go find a different one but then there was a hassle about my documents not being correct and that took forever to resolve and then Icouldn’trememberwhereIwassupposedtogofornearlytenminutesand . . . “ The woman’s words become increasingly higher pitched until she runs out of breath and doubles over, hands braced on her knees while she recovers.
