Edmond for his part, paced, staring out over the water. It felt awkward to just wait here for something to happen, like sending one person to call for help in a horror movie. It wasn't like they had a choice, but that made it no less stressful. "Really wish we had a rope or something, no communication sucks." He'd have to try to get everyone set up with waterproof comms at some point, once he had his tools, supplies, again and most importantly, time.

To be honest, everyone looked to be in rather decent shape now. He might as well join in on the cleanup. The doctor slid the rifle from off his shoulder, and began taking potshots at the remaining creature. Shoot ADVENT plasma rifle for 3d6+10 damage with 10% chance to crit for double. Speedy prognosis to heal Aquila for 2d4+13. Harry receives duplicate attack of the first attack on Aquila this turn. 10% HP regen, I'm stupid and Harry's RES should be 3 btw. His armor is not in loadout.

"Well that was easy enough." He'd definitely need to dedicate some resources to powering up the boosters on his suit so he wouldn't be buffeted quite so easily. "My suit's got a few minutes of air supply. Not enough to get to the stone I don't think, but if a sea monster attacks you on the way up or down I should be able to contribute. Given that I think someone else should take the water breathing mask."

"This looks. . .too easy. What's stopping just one of us from going across and grabbing it? There has to be something. . ." Edmond activated the thrusters at the small of his back, and lifted into the air, testing to see if the winds would be too much of an issue. So long as they weren't strong enough to lift him off the ground, they shouldn't be strong enough to counteract the thrusters, but they certainly could make control more difficult. If flight seems even remotely feasible, Edmond will try to position himself so that he can try to catch Cap if something goes wrong.

"I've also got something to say. You're also not usually a biomechanical entity. Usually you have flesh and blood, skin and bone. I will not claim that Cicivexa is wrong, for I'm but a novice when it comes to magic. However, it would do well to consider that it may be an effect of this world, or a neutral or good thing, and that it may be removable by others later if you so wish." It was concerning though. "There was an explosion, can you control when it happens?"

"With the proper materials and time, there'd be plenty of industrial methods of keeping things warm that I could work on. But on a time crunch like this. . . most important thing is probably a coat. Do your people ever use coats?" Edmond addressed Nuparu. He gave a quick glance over towards the swordswoman. Was he supposed to do something, as the repair guy? "You hurt?"

"Tod. . . Hey there Tod." Ena murmured from a few feet away. Unlike the rest, she lowered her guard almost immediately upon noticing that it was a can, and Leo confirming that fact. A dog and a can were no threat to her. "I wonder if someone's lost this fox; we ought to check for posters on the way back."
-
"Good god man, we're not doing a court martial right now. Please give it a rest." What a nuisance. "Wake me up when you want to switch off, Murasame." With that, he'd try to get some sleep.

"What a strange locale." Ena would first check the mailbox, simply because it seemed that was what everyone was doing. After that, she'd follow after Leo. "Mind if I join you, Leo? I'm quite curious about this place. Though I do advise we take things one at a time, perhaps the clock tower first? We might see something from up there that might help with the other complaints."

"You did something with your machete before though, right?" Edmond inquired to Halhi. But if it were that easy, that was certainly nice. "The Makuta toys with people from what we've seen. Perhaps he toys to make up for his own deficiencies. Alternatively, he may have been overconfident in his toying, or, far more worryingly, he may have some plot in mind that requires us to believe that we can harm him in a specific way."

"No, we do have food? Well, we did before giant insects arrived. Should be able to easily get some more though." Edmond briefly considered whether some form of electrofishing setup might work, but only two more people had joined the group, they wouldn't need that much. "There's fish in the river and a fire to roast them." Tsubasa would clearly be fast enough to stab some with her sword. "Only part I'm not certain about, there's something you need to do to actually eat them when you're in this form. Halhi, do you think you could show us that again?"

"I, for one, full support slicing the guy. He's already turned one of our crew against us, though I'm still confused regarding the specifics." "Don't worry about the wiring too much. I may make mistakes, but I make certain to catch them. Everything's been triple checked." Edmond attempted to be reassuring. He was not however, terribly accustomed to working directly with living beings. Interfacing between man and machine perhaps, but not directly on the living part. "So, what's the Corps you speak of?"

"No I don't suppose it should feel like that. . . sorry." He interjected, before she continued summarizing her scuffle with the Makuta "That's more like it, I suppose." He sighed deeply. If there'd been some reason for the Makuta to immediately attack her, that would have been an exploitable weakness, something to latch onto. But this seemed more of what one would expect from the guy. "Don't tell me you cut a deal with him?" "I don't know if anyone's mentioned it, but this being is our primary foe at the moment, attempting to interfere with us helping this world."

"Well that's strange, he really didn't seem the type to do that—Jumping at someone, that is. When we met, he seemed more the kingmaker, pawn manipulator, the 'I'm inside your head' type. . . Was that everything then, just 'welcome to the party, now I'm going to try to kill you'?" But why would the Makuta even mention the multiverse, he wondered. "Damn it." Edmond muttered, before pulling two hair thin wires out from some sort of nerve, then re-soldering them onto the opposite terminals from what that they'd initially been in.

"It seems rather unlikely that it would be for peaceful purposes. The options are either as a threat to innocent life, or as a terror attack affecting innocent lives. Since, no offense, it is a bioweapon and I don't know how good you can control it's spread." Liliya also does refrain from mentioning that she isn't American. Was it the whole multiverse thing disguising her accent? Or had she really managed to cover it so well? It'd still been recognizable last she checked.

The masks seemed to be unresponsive, so Edmond nodded and stepped over. "Technically I'm a mechanic, but it seems to be all the same here. I don't even know if we can get infections the usual way." Edmond gestured for her to sit down so he could begin replacing or welding plate, and soldering electronic nerves back into place. Something was puzzling him, a statement that she'd made upon her arrival that had quickly been glossed over. "So. . . you said that you met the Makuta?"

Harry, again, rushes over to the latest casualty, who seemed to be getting up after quite the hit. That made his job a little easier. Slap on a bandaid to heal Freya for 2d4+13 HP. Speedy Prognosis passive to get an extra heal on Spooderman for 2d4+13. Do note Harry's flaw: For one round after Harry heals an ally, he will be hit by a copy of the first attack made against the ally that he healed. Perks mean that Harry heals for 4 (Advanced Biotechnology) +half that which he heals Freya for (Applied Knowledge).
