The zip contains the updated files of the game. Extract them and replace the existing files in the game folder with the new ones. For example, if the patch contains a folder named Data (the same one you find in the game folder) you need to extract that folder, delete the existing Data folder and put the new Data folder in the game's folder. Or just do it the "easy" way and merge the folders. I prefer the first method though.

If you feel like taking a big challenge, by all means yes. But honestly, the story is too good to just get stuck in a difficult mode. If you played Reborn before, Reborn mode might be better for a first run. Of course, If you want, you CAN change the difficulty in the game "somewhere".

Blaziken is also an excellent choice for starter, should it have Speed Boost. Also Alolan Muk was a pleasant suprise for my V9 run. You can get it early as a shadow pokemon and though it evolves a bit late (38) it boasts great attack and special defence while it also gets some sweet moves to deal with a lot of annoying threats (Knock Off is its specialty).

Click on the windows button and search for Game.rxdata (if you are playing other games like reborn make sure the save file you choose is correct, you can just righ-click and select open file location) Then attach the save file to your post and you're done.

Yeaaaah....I don't think so. You can get it later in the game, but you will need surf and waterfall and that's around 12th badge.
