Could have altered the Old Maid to make it such that it could only be performed from the grave? I remember it being said that one of the roles had undergone non-minimal changes, and it would fit this type of game. Also, still waiting to find out what this Day of the Dead event will actually do.

I mean, we know from the phase narratives that Alaris did get a totem of some description, his lie was specifically about the ability it gave. That being said, do you know what ability the totem you received gave you, @andracass?

...or it can turn out that someone gave their doll to Astra, and thus have no reason for them to explain themselves. Awkward. Gonna keep my vote there anyway, but only as a placeholder vote, in case I forget to vote for someone further down the line. I really don't expect (nor want) a bandwagon for it.

Yeah, there's what, 7 people left to vote? With the current leader for the lynch seeming to be 4 votes, it's entirely possible that the other 7 votes can swing the lynch onto pretty much anyone at this point.

I get the sneaking suspicion that, if the creepy girl is present (which, based on this conversation, is likely but not confirmed), then one of the alterations would be to make the name fit the character (so, creepy dad, I guess.)

Of the two theories on Alaris, I'm more inclined to say lyncher rather than fool, given the focus on Nano specifically. Given that, a vote for [Eliminate] Alaris seems reasonable, at least as a placeholder vote until more information comes in. Also, I doubt Nano got a gun. I mean, there was only one body.

Upon reflection, Alaris' argument makes enough sense for me to give Castiel a temporary stay of execution, at least until he gives us that info on the (suspected) mafia he has, especially since, if Alaris' Option 1 is correct, then he's the sole member of the mafia which isn't in the mafia chat, meaning that, of the mafia members to risk having alive, he's the least dangerous IMO (since he can't inform the rest of the mafia of any information he gets [Naturally, this assumes that Alaris' list of roles entirely match what is present in the game, which isn't necessarily true, but due also make sense]). Not saying they aren't, Lykos, but it's less risk to lynch someone who wasn't contributing any information either way since, again, we do need to vote for someone. I do see your point, for what it's worth. Anyway, I'm curious as to why Alaris immediately went for lynching Nano, but I guess I'll wait for more people to show up before I make any decision on it one way or the other.

Oh, then never mind XD I guess it might be a good idea to see who's active, either way. If there's anyone who's already failing to keep up with post requirements and such, they make a good idea for a lynch (since, unless I'm mistaken, they are mandatory, and getting rid of some who isn't talking is a better idea that removing someone who may be able to give good contributions).

OK, so we just get the name of the character who died, rather than the player? Huh, I interpreted the initial rule as seeing the player and their character name, but I guess I interpreted wrong. In any case, I feel like a good starting point (unless someone has more direct information) is to see who is present (and thus, still alive), so we can try to determine who the player that just died is.

Endgame The lynch target for the current day was easy to find. Ms. Cass quickly announced that she had kept Mr. L'Belle locked up during 2 different nights, and the lack of bodies afterwards were her proof of Mr. L'Belle's guilt. With no-one attempting to counterclaim the actions of Ms. Cass, and nothing to lose, considering their remaining numbers compared to those of the Nobles, the group quickly and unanimously agreed to lynch Mr. L'Belle, who offered no resistance to this (perhaps seeing that his fate was inevitable, and wanting it to hurry up). And so, using the ladder she claimed to have been using to knock out her targets so she could jail them (hey, no-one could say she wasn't resourceful), Ms. Cass made quick, messy work of Mr. L'Belle's execution. The frantic search for the evidence of Mr. L'Belle's Noble attachments began in earnest and, after some time, a letter requesting his services from one of the more powerful Nobles was found. Given how recently the letter was dated, there was no doubt that Mr. L'Belle was the last agent they had been looking for. ~~ And with that, the survivng members breathed a digh of relief. Their survival was no longer in doubt, and they could refocus their efforts on getting what they wanted from the Nobles, especially with the bodies of their dead agents to hand. ...and, several weeks later, the Nobles, seeing that any more action against the workers would be more effort (and loss of life for themselves) than it was worth at this point, capitulated to all the Workers' demands. And so our tale ends, with the survivors, now with much healthier and happier lives, going back to work... for now. Will they be able to live their lives in peace, now?
