Freeze Dry is good due to the amount of Water-Types. Acid Spray would only be decent, especially since Steelix, Aggron, Bastiodon, Excadrill, and Aegislash are all only hit for 1x by it.

depending on the Power boost... a special Poison move that guaranteed lowers the special defense by 2 stages! and that hit's steel type

so after the BP-boost it continues to get stronger every turn you use it, and you are able to hit Steel-types that would normally be immune (and don't necesserily have high SP.Def anyway)
