  1. I would say have pokemon that cover each other's weaknesses. Even an incredibly leveled and EV trained mon could go down fast if attacked by a super-effective move (looking at you Charizard, and your 4x weakness to rock). Edit: Oh, and ALWAYS carry PokeSnax, a lot of event pokemon, specially the ones early game, require you to have a PokeSnax for the pokemon to be caught
  2. I get the feeling those doors you see everywhere with the greyed out Reborn symbol hold something special behind them, maybe legendary pokemon (or the beginning of a quest to get them), because if you think about the plot and how important all keystones are, it would make sense for those doors to hold something important behind them (that is, if they even open with the keys). Plus, if you do need all the keys to open those doors, it will probably happen close to the end of the game, after the Elite 4 if I had to guess (which reinforces the fact that something important is behind the doors) Am I making any sense here ? xD
  3. My top favorite thing about this game: the difficulty. In the original pokemon games, you can get to the end with just one pokemon, which defeats the whole point of having around 721 to choose from. Reborn actually makes you feel the need to train mons you normally wouldn't use, and I like that, I found out a lot of mons I disliked are very good (Golem, Torkoal, Throh, Muk, any pokemon with Pickup, and so on). Second, would be the field effects, they add the need for a strategy for beating most trainers instead of mindlessly picking any mons you have and just spam the strongest attack. Third, the characters. They all feel unique, like Cain being a flirt, or T3RR4's m3g4 1337 5ki11s! After that I guess it would be the story, so many moments where I went "what just happened..."
  4. Out of all the fan-made pokemon games, this seems to be one of the best so far, I really hope you release it soon! I mean, as soon as you can, take your time dude xD and hey, don't feel down, your game looks very unique and interesting, I think everyone here is interested in seeing how this will turn out, and I have a feeling it will out turn out berry good! Also, I really like the characters' looks and the fact each has a different ability, will make this game interesting to play And to top if off, I LOVE the artwork you've got for this, 10/10!
  5. This, I love this idea. What's more heartbreaking than fighting the pokemon you raised from the beginning of the game, the one that's always been there for you, the Pokemon that led you to where you are! Or voluntarily killing it to defeat the big bad of the game, that would still be an awesome yet cruel sacrifice. The idea of fighting your starter if you released it sounds great, imagine your pokemon really liked you and you released it and now the poor Pokemon holds a grudge against you and Meteor takes advantage of that, thus making a harder fight for you since it actually wants to fight you
  6. The fact that the last leader you face in E15 has a Mega Altaria makes me expect the ring in the next episode or so, but then again, this is Reborn, I wouldn't be surprised if Ame threw you against Mega Garchomps (we do have a lot of people with Garchomps now that I think about it...) without giving us the ring, which would be fun to a certain extent tbh
  7. Oh where to start! Let's see, Shade first of all, his ghost type pokemon mixed with electric moves with the field type he has, kinda fun. Noel, never thought I'd have issues with a Normal-type leader, but Skill Link Chinccino too op (had to catch a Throh in Pyrous Mountain to beat it) And lastly, Charlotte, simply because of one fact: I never raised a water type Pokemon, which means I had to go at that Gym with Charizard, which needless to say was useless, Gardevoir which was still one of my best bets, Ampharos, Golem, Absol and Beartic. Beating her was the worst, my strategy was made up of Reviving, Trick Room and Blizzard to get rid of the field effect and then use Gardevoir/Ampharos to deal with the pokemons themselves, which took a few attempts.
