    yeah, sudowoodo is great even later on with sturdy counter. by the way, had you used electric terrain from the beginning, the mist would not come back and the field would become the regular corrosive field xD

    yeah, when I did it at first I decided to give a chance to mons I never used in the original (mainly spinarak, ledyba and hoothoot), and ledyba was by far the worst. Ariados really surprised me though

    I gotta congratulate you for having the patience to evolve Ledyba. When I made the gen II run I gave up on lvl 12.

    yeah, I used him till lvl 42 or something in my first run, couldn't beat Julia until I read someone talking about him and decided to try it out.

    I found out yesterday that Guts Luxray tears through his team, and he is tanky enough to survive a venoshock by crobat, you just have to keep healing him.

    I suggest a monogen. Since you are impatient (so am I) I'll assume you dislike grinding as much as I do, and monotypes tend to involve a lot because it may take a while for you to have a full team. Monogens, however, tendo to give you a lot of options early on already (I finishe a II gen and am playing a IV gen, both of them I already had at least 5 mons before Julia) and you need to grind a lot less.

    yeah, I recommended him because the first few times I tried battling Corey in the corrosive mist, the poison fucked me over, and when I found out electric terrain deleted the mist it became so much easier it wasn't even funny. I also vote for pumpkaboo in the basis of I don't think I saw it being used ever

    I tried using CE as well, and it's not always perfect. Sometimes it takes about 4-5 tries before it works. Also, if you are using a pokémon with lava body the process is different: you should "Increase value by" 4 instead of 2.

    it was at 19% until a couple weeks ago, so I for one am celebrating that 11% increase hahaha

    Hey, I'm a shiny Trubbish, nice. For Corey, a Flaaffy with Electric Terrain is amazing if you finish the policemen quest, since the mist doesn't return when it ends.

    Hey, I loved your last run and will definitely follow this one. Since I understand very little outside of "pick a starter, over-level and sweep the game with it" that the original games taught me, I'm gonna say Zigzagoon for Julia and Burmy for Florinia because i've never seen a Zigzagoon used for anything other than HMs and a Burmy at all. But a Pineco would be nice too hahha

    I really liked the new field effects, but I never did the math behind them, nice to get a grasp on how much they affect stuff. Also, I'm having a really hard time adapting to the use of stat altering moves, since I never used them in any of the original games and I still fail to see their effectiveness. I put reflect on my Meowstic after reading these answers, but I think it's way more underwhelming than just using psyshock and 2HKO almost everyone, but I'll learn sometime hahaha

    Hello guys, This is my first time playing Reborn and I'm suffering a lot with the balance mindset to it, since I always just leveled up my starter and wrecked face in the other games with it. This is my team and I'm currently in the bug gym with it: I'm not familiar with the use of stat moves, so they all have offensive moves (Onyx has Stealth Rock), and I never use Shuppet for anything, actually.
