      66% sure it's not on purpose.

      The vibe I'm getting so far is to not know how to deal with it, ask them politely to stop, then talk to them about it before violently erasing them.

    Little bit, but the chassis (Torso?) is much thinner on R.O.B. Likely due to the fact that he doesn't need the space for a garbage compactor. Also WALL-E is a lot less clean looking. I already asked this, but What is love? (If you don't give the proper answer, I'm asking it again!)
