Well, I certainly can't argue with that. That's a perfectly fair reason to dislike a generation (Just in case anyone thinks I'm being sarcastic, I'm really not) I guess people's gen preference comes down to their own perspective. Example: I started with Gen 4, gen 4 is my favorite. I don't know if I already said this somewhere back there but the fact that Pearl was my first meant that for me, those 493 pokémon were the original 493 pokémon and at first, I actually thought gen 5's pokémon were kind of underwhelming (I didn't like the selection of ghost types that much). Of course it's not all about the pokémon (WHAAAT?). Some people mentioned HG/SS feature with pokémon walking behind you, that was awesome. Toggling the running shoes was also cool (same game). Oh and something I really liked about gen 5 was actually bringing older pokemon from platinum into it and seeing them animated (Spiritomb, Darkrai). That was pretty cool too.

but the bad guys in this game kill people and use steroid machines on pokémon x.x

My bad, can't seem to post things in the right place x_X BUUUUUUT in other games, there is no badge requirement for controlling your pokémon, only for controlling traded ones. Excuse ME! Pokémon is the MOST realistic game ever. are you trying to tell me that you don't believe in our lord and alighty savious arceus? are you saying that large dragons don't even have control over space and time?? Are you saying animals can't really be stored in digital form inside small balls? Another thing, why do the bad guys still only carry a max of 6 pokémon, why can't they just break the rules? also do they buy medicines in the pokémart? do they heal at pokécenters? (oh wait no, they have healing machines, never mind.

No, it doesn't really matter when the game is this good. It just doesn't make sense, no big deal x.x

I have just realized that all of team meteor's pokémon obey them. For pokémon of such a level to do so would require them to have gym badges, no? In fact, approximately the same amount of badges as the main protagonist. Do the gym leaders just let meteor's waltz in and take gym challenges, knowing they'll use the pokémon for evil?? I suppose it's possibl for the grunts to just dress up as civilians but what about the commanders?? it's not as though people like ZEL blend in superbly. I can't imagine Sirius walking into the gym like "Hey, so... can I challenge you or?...." And they can't possibly have stolen the badges either, they'd need to steal one of every badge for each member of meteor, there's no way the gyms have security that bad. And if they could somehow do that, why don't they just steal a ton of rare candies and make every meteor's pokémon level 100?? This is preposterous. It's an interesting system though, I'm just ranting because it counters my primary Pokémon strategy. (LEVEL UP) Got a new pokémon? LEVEL UP Trainer too tough? LEVEL UP Serious type disadvantage against a gym leader? ....Catch new pokémon?-NO, LEVEL UP!

What's banett? do you the bug guy benett or the pokemon banette? (neither of them are involved in that battle are they? 0_0)

This was by far the hardest part of the game for me so far. it took me like a month because I actually quit. I beat it by getting my delphox to a crazy high level (so it could one shot the entire team) and then restarted until I got lucky with the whole ("turned away"/"ignored orders") thing, ( as well as accuracy.. huge problem with those guys..) My banette was useless and made me want to cry. It literally just kept missing all it's moves and killing itself on the mirrors...
