Those images are just links to the original image in whatever page you used to post them, so you should check if the images in the original page still exist or have been deleted

they all use postimage. strange because most of the images still exist but aren't showing up here.

It could be a non-hosted site. Or you might have the wrong link for the image. For instance, imgur links require an i.imgur link to appear on the forums.
