I love this idea, but you have to remember that this will never happen in the games because they are marketed towards children, and Game Freak probably isn't going to change that. The reason that kind of stuff happens in the manga is that the manga is marketed more towards young adults, so they can have more dark and brutal stuff.

Stat Masters is a pretty interesting type of challenge run i thought up with only a few fairly simple rules: At the beginning of the run, choose a stat. This stat will be the stat you are a master of and determines what niche most of your team will fall into. Also at the beginning of the run, choose a value between 100 and 130. This will be the baseline that your team will have to meet and can be adjusted based on availability. As a general rule, 100 to 110 gives you some diversity, 110 to 120 is mostly specialized pokemon with almost no diversity, and 120 to 130 is only specialized pokemon. All pokemon you use on your team must meet or exceed the baseline stat in the stat that you chose when fully evolved (not including mega evolutions). HM slaves are allowed, but only if completely necessary and can not be used in battle under any circumstances. If a pokemon you have on your team is not yet at or above the baseline stat, you must evolve it to get it above the baseline as soon as possible. For example, in Omega Ruby, I choose to master in attack with a baseline of 110. As a starter, i choose mudkip because swampert's base attack is 110, and I catch a shroomish and slakoth early on because breloom's base attack is 130 and slaking's is 160. You get the jist. This challenge forces you to use only pokemon that usually only have one or two workable stats and makes you have to find a way to work around your team's weak points. You can combine this challenge with other kinds of challenges such as nuzlocke or monotype (consider possibly lowering the baseline for this one because of the already limited pool of pokemon). Another variant of this challenge is the complete opposite where you can only use pokemon with stats below a certain value (you'll probably have some NFEs on your team). My gym would be a rock-type gym mostly based on stall because that's always fun. that would be awesome, but it can't beat the ultimate stall that is contrary shuckle with chesto berry and shell smash/infestation/toxic/rest

Fun fact: Sugimoro really wanted a Mega Flygon too, but they couldn't come up with a design for it. Apparently, Game Freak artists have too much pride or don't know how to google search mega flygon for inspiration cuz there are some pretty good ones out there.

In my opinion, Ninetales is better because of drought, but if you don't have anything that needs the sun on your team, i would go for Arcanine because it is a pretty nice physical attacker while Ninetales is just a meh special attacker

First of all, I just want to point out that there is leaked info saying that there will be 2 more games in gen 6 so it will be at least 1 or 2 more years before we might get a gen 7 game and there will probably be more new megas in these remaining gen 6 games. Second, I need a mega flygon to happen. I NEED IT. Third, I think Game Freak should explore some of the type combinations that haven't been used yet, particularly fire/ice, that type combo would be so amazing.

If i am correct, there is no way to guarantee a shiny from an egg; they have the same chance of being shiny as wild pokemon, but this game does have an increased shiny rate so you won't have to hatch so many eggs.

Welcome to reborn, friend. I am also new here, but the people here have been very nice and respectful to me and everyone here. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed by this game. This game not only meets your expectations, but exceeds them. The game has amazing music, is incredibly difficult but not to the point that it's impossible, and a great story. Again, welcome to the reborn community and enjoy your stay.

In my opinion, the single most overrated pokemon in existence is Arceus. I know what you're saying, " HE'S FUCKING GOD HOW COULD HE BE OVERRATED!!!" Just hear me out on this one. While he may have great stats, he has a somewhat lackluster movepool leaving him with only 2 usable sets: swords dance espeed and support. Both of these sets are good, but neither of them are anywhere close to matching his status as the god of pokemon.

Well, i looked at all the posts here and am disappointed to find that there are no people here that share the love for my favorite pokemon. Just because of that, i'm not telling you... well actually it's pretty obvious. Shuckle is my favorite pokemon. I hear you ask, "Why Shuckle?" and in response i say, do i really have to explain... ok, you're right, sorry. The reason i love Shuckle so much is that it is so frickin ADORABLE (to me anyways) and the fact that it can do 721,899,685 damage in a single attack is amazing. Also, it's name is just so fun to say. Shuckle. You can't resist the Shuckle

My favorite pokemon, as you may be able to tell is Shuckle (I am the Shucklemaster).
