  1. On first sight, I would relate this to Harvest Moon (since I haven't played Fantasy Life and my experience with Animal Crossing didn't feel like this)
  2. No idea. What if the pieces are just secretly useless just to torture us?
  3. Yeah, I got it. The hint was right there but I didn't get it until Cream told me >.> I am bad at these things I guess ^.^
  4. Thank you very much, I'll look into that now ^.^
  5. I'm currently breeding eevees and only managed to get a good HP grass and electric so far but I'm aiming for HP Ground for a Sylveon. My question is: Has the spread for HP Ground changed? One eevee I hatched had a 14/26/28/17/12/30 IV spread but didn't have a ground type hidden power. (Doesn't help that I want it to be female so that I can name it Nancy :S)
  6. Can you offer a little hint for me? I don't get the bit where it's telling me I've done it before
  7. Rock smash is pretty good in this game. Hopefully it was intended to have 75 BP
  8. I just assumed it was some painting stuck behind the shelf >.>
  9. IMO, the speed+ nature is ran competitively because of access to the life orb which supplements for the lack of power boosting nature. Unfortunately, we have no life orb to equip on Froakie in Reborn iirc. It doesn't really help when Froakie only learns the powerful moves late as a Greninja so you'll probably need a Modest nature to give it that little extra power and if you do a normal 252satk/252speed/4hp ev build then you should be able to out-speed a lot of pokemon and the little extra power from modest should hopefully help. I ran a timid Greninja in normal Reborn and the lack of power without the life orb is really noticeable I think.
  10. Wait, what do you mean by base speed? If you look it up, the base speed of Hawlucha is 118 and that should out-speed Manectric's 105 base speed. I did not mean the stat value you see when you look in the pokemon's summary page. Then again, Manectric can be ev trained in speed.
  11. Staraptor might be a bit of an overkill with the field effect (and it doesn't outspeed Manetric) Maybe I was wrong in thinking Hawlucha could defeat Manetric due to out-speeding (118 base speed is faster than all my mons). I can't think of anything except HP Ground Emolga/ a gligar evolution line / just giving a berry or two to reduce electric damage. Then again, I don't really know how to balance the game since I've always been the underdog in my run.
  12. I'm just wondering how your Staravia managed to speed tie Hawlucha o.O Speed+ nature? At least the Emolga made you use items though ^.^ It just got really unlucky in the match-up, I don't see why it deserves an axe (I would just be mean and give it HP ground )
  13. A new day, and another pokemon game to add on my watch list ^.^
  14. Man, these sprite changes are enough for me to restart my game XD (I feel like they liven up the experience) - I wish I could sprite like that :3
  15. As long as the costumes are adorable, keep 'em coming. ^.^ (Gives somewhat of a Musketeer-ey feel but I'm not too familiar with those)
  16. I think you must trigger the sidequest in the Ranger Guild where you go and recruit someone in the city. After you speak to them, you need to go to the vending machine and it should probably work.
  17. Thanks for telling me and good luck in your search!
  18. I seem to recall you making a post about field effects. Any thoughts about making one or two affect the defense values of certain types instead of increasing damage/reducing damage of other types? I like the sandstorm weather effect because it was more defensive (excl. that 1/16 damage). I don't know how to explain it but I feel like neutral tanks aren't really viable sometimes because a neutral attack powered up to the equivalent of a choice item just doesn't let them tank; I know I seem to be complaining based off my experience with the other games but I thought if certain fields let type moves deal more damage, surely some fields could enhance a type's defense instead. Maybe I'm just a nooblet in Pokemon to be saying these things. I do wish I had the courage to post such a thing in the main threads
  19. I used Magneton (evolved from Magnemite from shop) which can defeat all of the pokemon except Hawlucha (that mon has beast speed). Had to used Quadsire's Yawn and Floette's weak Fairy Wind to barely take it out. I had a pretty severe type disadvantage before obtaining Magnemite (2 mons weak to flying and all mons taking heavy damage from Hawlucha excl. Quadsire) I do hope a shiny stone is available next ep since the rest of my party will eventually leave Floette behind in terms of roles. Note: Is there any pokemon that can outspeed Hawlucha at this stage? (w/o exceeding the level cap ofc)
  20. Swellow is only faster than Staraptor but has about 2/3 of Staraptor's base attack - Staraptor is just far more superior with the reckless ability, competitive wise. I prefer Swellow but doubt we will get a toxic/flame orb soon.
  21. Just gonna pray for someone/something to resemble Abyssion then the Mania will be real~
  22. Lemonade - The house to the right of the pokemon center I think, the machine is right in the middle of the room iirc. If I was wrong then I'm sure it's a house next to the pokemon center.
  23. A well trained Quagsire should help with Connor - hopefully you caught a Starly at the beach. I wish I did but never lucky and too lazy.
