  1. So my 2nd run with Torterra went pretty damn good (mostly it was Torterra's Earthquake and Wood Hammer wrecking their ways through) . I'm gonna do a 3rd run just to crush through the game, so i'm gonna use all the "easy and boring" pokemons and play on Casual Mode. I chose an Adamant Speed Boost Torchic as my starter, and i want you guys to choose the Psychic pokemon that will benefit Blaziken/my team the most. I'll check back in 8 hours from now. Vote away guys, and if you have any suggestion for a better psychic pokemon, please share.
  2. If that's a Male Meowstick, switch his ability to Prankster once he evolves and he'll be a pretty good support mon with 2 screens. A Female Meowstick is fine, but i kinda like the Male one a little bit more. But if the pokemon you have in mind is better than a priority screen user, then leave it in your box.
  3. You can at least leech seed stall her Yveltal, and call it a day. That's what i did when i first met her on my 2nd run. Meowstick set up 2 screens and went down (her Yveltal used Sucker Punch while i was setting up), then Torterre came in, took a hit (he actually live a freaking Dark Pulse) and set up Leech Seed. The rest is pretty easy to guess.
  4. Hey Jan, how about putting a move tutor (not a move relearner) in somewhere between Valarie and Crawli for v6 ? You can give her the same treatment just like the move relearner's sister.
  5. Actually i was thinking of using Meowstick's Misty Terrain to deal with her field. His 2 screens and priority field are the reasons why i use him.
  6. Turtwig/Chimchar will get you through the game fine. Torchic + Speed Boost is easy mode You seriously have to catch a Hoppip, and the rest is up to you
  7. I'm gonna tackle Crawli and Angie soon, so i need some team advice from you guys. Main roster : Tank (Toterra) [N/A] Nature : Adamant Ability : Shell Armor Move : _ Earthquake _ Crunch _ Leech Seed _ Wood Hammer Prankster (Male Meowstick) [Light Clay] Nature : Bold Ability : Prankster Move : _ Light Screen _ Reflect _ Disarming Voice (will be replaced with Misty Terrain) _ Psychic God (Jumpluff) [N/A] Nature : Jolly Ability : Leaf Guard Move : _ Mega Drain (will be replaced with U-turn) _ Leech Seed _ Sleep Powder _ Acrobatics Ampy (Ampharos) [Quick Claw] Nature : Modest Ability : Static Move : _ Power Gem _ Discharge _ Thunder Wave _ Confuse Ray Bruiser (Hariyama) [black Belt] Nature : Jolly Ability : Thick Fat Move : _ Bulk Up _ Force Palm (will be replaced with Close Combat) _ Knock Off _ Fake Out Slave (Bibarel) as HM slave Reinforcement : Right now : Grandbull, Mawile, Gothita, Frillish, Carvanha, Xatu, Tangela, Toxicroak, Seel, Helioptite, Slowpoke, Pancham, Froakie, Sewaddle, Litleo, Tyrouge, Houndour Soon : Litwick, Swinub, Chesnaught, Fenniken, Numel.
  8. Damn it Hypa, you only have one job. Just smile and nod. You do have to wait a few days to be able to use the tutor again, not just whenever you want.
  9. Jan, i want to know your opinion about this for V6. So i think you should keep the move tutor in Sheridan, but after your first tutor, she'll move to Kristiline (just make up a reason). This way, Typhlosion and other pokemon will be more useful earlier, but players will have to think carefully about what pokemon to use that 1 time tutor (until Angie) on.
  10. I'm surprised that this thing hasn't got on the list yet Sharpedo for B/B- rank Ability : Speed Boost. You can catch Carvanha from the Fountain? quest in Sheridan's Help Center, and that's pretty early for such a nice Pokemon. Sure, it isn't bulky, but with Speed Boost, it can be one heck of a sweeper. His moveset can be : _ Aqua Jet (priority STAB is always fun) _ Crunch (STAB, has a chance to flinch, and is pretty strong even against Narcissa's field effect) or Night Slash (STAB, high crit chance) _ Ice Fang (for coverage against Dragon type and Grass type) or Waterfall when Jan adds it ( for more damage and STAB) _ Poison Fang (for coverage against Grass type and Fairy type) Opinion : He has a nice movepool, and he is useful for a lot of stuff thanks to Speed Boost (the ability that rocketed Blaziken to Uber), but he isn't bulky with just base 70/65 Def/Sp.Def, so he works best as a revenge killer. Gym : Venam : N/A Keta : Aqua Jet can be used to revenge kill, but since Sharpedo's a Dark type, he won't live long out there. Mariannete : Same as above Narcissa : Crunch is very nice here, even with the field lowering its damage. Be careful with Gengar/Mismagius though. Valarie : Crunch and Poison Fang are nice, but be very careful with Rotom/Lanturn. Crawli : Sharpedo can do serious damage to Crustle and Volcarona thanks to Aqua Jet and the rain, but he won't like Galvantula at all. Angie : If you get rid of her field and stall Abomasnow's Snow Warning, Sharpedo can take care of Froslass with ease. But since the rest are pretty tanky, be careful.
  11. Where is it ? I'm playing version 4
  12. Is there any way to get a Heart Scale in Amethyst Cave ? I heard you can, but i can't seem to find it.
  13. I've asked this in the Rejuvenation Challenge Guide but i wanna ask the questions again here. So i want to do a Psychic Monotype run. _ Can i use my starter until i get the Coin Case ? _ Can i still catch a Bidoof/Bibarel ? I want it to be my HM Slave.
  14. If i do a monotype Psychic run, can i still use my starter until i get Coin Case ?
  15. Congratulations on beating Angie. And Valarie's Rotom-Wash has Choice Scarf.
  16. Well this thread is slowing down. Someone analyzes something, please.
