    With pkmn se7en's gym leader announcement, I would love to talk about powerplants... but that would require criticism on the canonical games... I'm just glad folks have powerplants in their games at the end of the day

      I would consider a wind turbine as an excellent secondary source of power when amassed and spaced properly. However in a practical sense you need a constant source of energy for your population, coal, gas, natural gas, and nuclear powerplants can all supply constant power, but have their drawbacks.

      Well I saw the term turbine, and read wind turbine I descended into madness. Basically turbines are ineffective at powering cities from their inconsistency and fluctuations with the wind. While a clean source of energy your largest amount of energy is generated around 1 to 4 a.m. which is generally when the power grid requires the least amount of power
