There are several luigi mains besides boss. Luigi is really powerful and easy to use -
Gaming general is a subforum made for games that aren't Pokemon or fangames. Right underneath this topic is the pokemon thread, the Competitve battling thread, and the Fangame thread. I didn't want to post a link because I wanted him to find it himself so that he can know exactly where to go next time something like this comes up.

Yoshi is amazing and one of my personal best. Always remember that his double jump animation gives armor to a single attack. -

One-two- three attacks are known as a gentleman. There is also less directional influence in this game. From the top of my head, Little Mac, Falcon, and Robin have a Gentleman. Also, didn't you tell me that you maimed Olimar? Oli is pretty damn different this time around. Edit: ran through the roster and Pits, Greninja, and Duck Hunt God all have a gentleman -

I have been playing her occasionally too, she is quite fun. I have had varying levels of success with her though. One character I have been consistently winning with is Sonic. I haven't really lost a single match against anyone ever since I picked him back up. Only match I lost in memory was a for glory match where I suicided both my stocks >< There guy changed his name to "Redo?" And we did. I then rocked his face. -

Link is annoying to Lucas and Ness. None of his projectiles can be absorbed. I would imagine Ness being harder for link to fight. Link likes to set up a wall of projectiles you can't get passed, and Ness's Thunder is made of fuck you because it pulls you toward him. And when he does that, he does air combo bullshit. Also, Shiek gives everyone trouble. That is the sole reason why she is considered the best character in the game. Keep in mind that her kill options are pretty weak and she will spend more time running away than she will be fighting you head on. Especially if you are luigi. Luigi has an absurd amount of priority in his attacks and almost feels like he is using swords. Her best option to fight you is to run away and throw needles at you. Once you figure it out she will have difficulty pressuring you. Also keep in mind that Mario and Luigi's nair is a get out of jail combos free card. -

Rosie has difficult killing with out the pillow, it dies easily from love taps. Moves that lock people in place like PK Fire and Arc Fire are pretty useful. He Luma AI is also not too smart. One funny thing is that trampolines, Springs, ect confuse it. If you drop pac-man's hydrant in front of a Luma or Pikmin, the AI just stops and has no idea what the fuck to do. I found the easiest time fighting Rosie with Fox, Robin, Mega Man, Samus, Sonic, Lucario, and Yoshi. Fox, Sonic, and Yoshi are hella fast and give her little to no breathing room to relax and set up, they also kill the Luma really easily. Fox has a technique where he runs right I between them and shines or Down B, and it separates them. Fox used to do this in Melee and Brawl to separate the Ice Climbers, it should work here too. If Sonic performs his neutral B, he will only target players. If you use it on Rosie, he will only target her, sonic will never aim for the Luma. If you toss a projectile at Rosie her first response is to absorb it. If you spam projectiles at her, she panics and gets defensive. You can take advantage of this. If you aren't a projectile heavy character, you your projectile to distract her and attack her while she is nullifying your projectiles. Out of allege characters mentioned, the Rosie players I faced struggled with my Robin and Yoshi the most. Lastly, keep in mind that Luma has 50 HP and takes 13 seconds to respawn. -

Better question, who are you struggling against? -
Sometimes there is something in the game that I don't completely wanna dive into a full character to talk about, so this thread will be for one or two specific things surrounding a character that I do want to talk about. Today I want to talk about a certain underused technique in smash revolving a character I almost never use. That character is Ganondorf. Ganon's side B, the Flame Choke is a very unique move. What makes it so unique is that it is a command grab that results in a "Hard Knockdown State." I never heard of this before Godot! The only fighting game I play is smash and Dragonball Z! Why have I never heard of this? Glad you asked. A hard knockdown is an attribute in a fighting game where a move sends your opponent straight into the ground. It doesn't cause them to roll or slide across the floor. Nor does it cause their body to dribble on the ground like a basketball. A hard knockdown is where a character is slammed straight into the ground and that is it. Ganon is unique because his flame choke is the only move in the game that reliably gets people into a hard knock down state. Which allows you to Tech Chase, OTG, or create a Vortex! **Stares blankly into space confused even more now than ever** Uh... okay? let me explain.... There are some moves that put people in an awkward state where they will try to Breakout, Tech, or Ukemi out of that dangerous position. A Tech Chase is where you purposely set these situations up and try taking advantage of them. OTG is an acronym for "Off The Ground." It is used to refer to an attack that literally is designed to hit people when they are on the ground. This allows you to either finish your opponent or follow up with another attack. Last, but definitely not least is Vortex. A vortex is where you use moves that result in a hard knock down to put your opponent back into a hard knock down state. Keeping them close to you, and making it incredibly difficult for your opponents to escape your grasp. This technique was especially important in playstation allstars Despite you describing these things Godot, I have no clue as to put these into use! Uh... thanks for the help I guess? I am not done yet... I am actually going to straight up tell you how to take advantage of these things as Ganondorf! However, not everything regarding this is guaranteed. It involves a bit of mind games. It's good to keep in mind that people have four recovery options after being put in a hard knockdown state... However, before we start breaking this down... BOOTS! BOOTS FOR DAYS! **clears his throat** The following recovery animations and the correct method to dealing with them are... 1. A simple get back up animation. You can punish this with a down tilt, side tilt, or a Flame Choke to create a vortex. You can also go balls to the walls risky and try charging a forward smash or short hopping a down air and using the spiking dribble effect to combo into your up tilt. 2. Attacking while getting up. Be careful, some characters are unique where their get up animation deals a ton of damage to shields. However, if you shield their attack, you can follow up with a down tilt, side tilt, or reset the knockdown with a Flame Choke. Again, if you wanna try something risky, dodge the wake up animation with a short hop and Down air Spike combo! 3. Some people will try to roll out of the way. Punish this with a Warlock Kick or Down B, make sure you are aiming it properly by tilting the control stick diagonally down. You can also punish the roll with YOU GUESSED IT a Flame Choke to create a Vortex. 4. The last thing your opponent will do is delay their wake up. If they are aware of what you are doing, this is potentially their best option for getting out of your bullshit. If they are slow you can surprise them with a down tilt. If they are stupid short hop dair spike combo. However, if they are smart, they will wake up, attack, or roll the second you do something, which will punish you or allow them to get away. So patience isn't really key here, it is just getting inside your opponent's head and trying to outwit them. When they choose an option, go back to steps 1-3. Well... that is all I have for today. If anything catches my eye, or if you guys have any questions feel free to ask below.

The SOA games were terribad, I tried to play hollowed fragment and I couldn't get into it. I also have no interest in any of the characters in Jstars. The game also plays nothing like the GBA game.

There was a recent famaitsu article that sakurai wrote and he stated, "I cannot keep the team around forever, but we are developing several new characters. We are focusing on fanservice more than anything." Which leads back to the polls. Last I checked the most popular real options for characters were King K Rool, Ink boy/girl, and Isaac. And since we received Ryu recently as a second capcom rep, I can see Bayonetta, Knuckles, Klonoa, Siegfried, or Jin Kazama having a pretty good chance to be in the game.
