  1. Yep, this is why. I have a TBolt Sludge Bomg Gengar and it just wrecks pretty much everything, before getting my wonderful perfect Gaslty I used it's mom, the movepool: Awful...that's it. You either relied on Hypnosis/Dream Eater or the nonsense Dark Pulse to hit Normal types, I cried when found out that Sludge Wave was incompatible ]: At least it had Destiny Bond, which was HUGE in some key battles. aka Arceus, Steelix, Mewtwo, Etc.
  2. Yes, get some ice creams and that should do the trick.. and also there is an Ultra Potion in the Coral Ward, it is hidden. You can use it to get a Skitty, there in the Coral Ward, or for your own.
  3. I've got two shinies from breeding so far (with pretty cool IVs too), but it's just merely luck, it doesn't matter if one of the parents is shiny or if both are, or if there are no shinies to begin with, the child might or might not be a shiny one Those 2 kids had regular parents (: (well, they had at least 3 perfect IVs....)
  4. It looks really cool! (: Are you planing to use it on the ladder? (I used to be number 9 before ORAS), and I used the steel monotype!, I suggest you to use bulky Scizor, it wrecks most MonoGrounds, Rock, Fairies, Dragons and Ice. But being completely honest is just a death fodder vs Mono Fire and Water..(Water always were a problem for me, I didn't use Ferrothorn) Another thing is that you should use Jolly Scarf Excra so you can outspeed Adamant Charizard X after a DD. And yes, you should try Scarf Jirachi!, it's a God when it comes to beat Mono Fighting, with Iron Head, Zen Headbutt, Trick and UTurn/Healing Wish. Las thing is I'd switch that Klefki for a Skarm, which helps A LOT vs mono Fighting and Ground, but Klefki is good for annoying... it's your choice.
  5. It's powerful, and it has no switch-ins, seriously, it has THE movepool to wreck everything... Earth Power, Sludge Wave, Psychic, Focus Blast with Sheer Force boost and no recoil taken from Life Orb. Knock Off and Superpower for the Fatty piece of sh*t and Rock Slide for the Zard Y and take Talons if they switch in, and obviously you can count with the almighty HP Ice for your moveset. The thing is... it is not that fast, even if it set ups (It has powerful stuff, Rock Polish and Calm Mind) that will cost a moveslot, and you can definetly play around it. It's a little bit overcentralizing, but it gets revenge killed easily. Ice Shard (Mamoswine, Weavile) is an Ohko 100% of the time, Aqua Jet is an OHko after Rocks I think (Azumarril, Feraligatr, Shaerpedo, Crawdaunt), and Banded Brave Bird kills after rocks if I'm not mistaken and Bullet Punch from Scizor is a 2hko (Landorus EarthPower kills if no Hp Investment on Scizor ): ) I think it should stay. Not that fast and easily revenge killed.
  6. I need my Breloom... now

Dude, I'm still waiting for my Scizor. Be content

  7. Not completley sure, But I think that they you find them by mining. There is a location guide here in the forums
  8. But I think you should use something that you don't have access to early in the game. Misdreavus is the second one you find... right?
  9. I guess Frillish haha, that would be super hard to use, don't know if it is available yet, but it's a good option imo and it's not strong, Phantump is also an option, but it would make the early game somewhat easy, and last I'd say Duskull, since you don't have access to Everstone/Reaper Cloth early Dusclops is not OP, or even Golett... Hurry up... you need da gastly....
  10. Well, it depends on the needs for your team, if you don't enjoy the hail, then use Refrigerate, with those moves: Thunder Wave/Encore, Freeze Dry, Ancient Power/Nature Power and Ice Beam If you are using Snow Warning, then definetly Blizzard over Ice Beam...but that's pretty much it. It doesn't have the best movepool tbh, and it relies a lot in move tutors (The Refrigerate one)
  11. Not sure if you're being sarcastic ir not... But yeah, I'm surprised about the Axew hype... it's outclassed by a lot of stuff, I guess... it is a dragon. But hey! We're getting Mr. Spores too! So many options... and THE Setup sweeper.
  12. Hi Mr. Smogon, and welcom! I love competitive battling too [:
  13. Interested in: Perfect IVs or females with a Heart Scale Snivy, Riolu and Murkrow. Or a Ditto with a perfect IV stat (not speed) Can offer: Perfect/Almost perfect IVs Noibat, Litwick, Bunnelby, Mareep, Corphish, Torchic, Totodile, Froakie, Charmander, Squirtle, Drilbur, Gastly, Ralts, Horsea, Spiritomb, Archen and Nidoran. (There are some mons that have egg moves, like Totodile or Squirtle). Shinies: Piloswine, Rufflet, Noctowl, Venipede, Amoongus, Boldore, Horsea, Bouffalant., Torchic and Totodile.
  14. I don't mind the that most of the new available pokes are "choice limited events" since we have a way to get both of them... I mean, the Trading Thread V2, [: here in the forums (which has been dead for some time tbh). The only thing I'm scared about is the fact that we might not be able to get back to the city yet... that means: no breeding
  15. I used Chrome to download it... it didn't say anything...
  16. I'd defenetly have a Kecleon, or a Gastly...or both. And I don't know fren...everything would be different; the world would be a mess in my opinion.
  17. The Garchomp to the right is the best in my opinion... that white chest looks...weird
  18. Oh my god... Too many powerful mons for this update :s
