I was just about to grab my HM slave from the PC when I noticed this. This is unbelievably useful, thank you so much Ame Now my Rhyperior can effectively have Surf, Strength and Rock Smash all at the same time, and it'll only take up one slot.

I've searched Lapis and 7th Street pretty thoroughly, doesn't seem to be anything there.

On the hunt: Electric Type Pokemon (Case Closed)
berlyda replied to jamesw0102's question in On the Hunt
Rotom-Wash is the most commonly used form defensively, since it only has one weakness, and it is definitely better than Ampharos in terms of base stats. But with the lack of TMs in Reborn, Ampharos has a wider variety of moves to choose from, and certainly has better type coverage. Cotton Guard is really great too if you want to focus on physical defense. I say just choose whichever you prefer. -
On the hunt: Electric Type Pokemon (Case Closed)

I think Rotom would be the obvious choice, but Ampharos is viable too (Cotton Guard). -
Aaah, I was waiting for this one My Chesnaught will be delighted.

It's oh so funny to set up Stealth Rock in that battle and just sit back and watch the carnage as it rips through his team while you barely have to lift a finger. Using Bug-types in a cave is not the smartest idea.

If it doesn't know it already, Light Screen would be very useful on Emolga, and it should be holding Damp Rock or Light Clay. The whole fight is going to rest on that Emolga setting up properly, so hopefully it can survive for long enough. Ideally you would have something to change the field, but I don't think any of your Pokemon can learn those moves. Also, you should get Flash Fire on your Ninetales if you don't have it already. You could also catch a Bronzong on Route 4. I found one on level 72 there once, so no need to train it at all. Teach that Trick Room and Rain Dance, and make sure it has Heatproof. If Emolga doesn't work out, give that a shot. Also, you could catch a Thick Fat Piloswine on that same route, which should know both Blizzard and Earthquake already. Blizzard destroys the field, and Earthquake... is Earthquake. But in order for it to survive the first turn, you'll need something with Fake Out to stop Typhlosion from using Eruption, so hopefully you'll have something in your PC that knows it or can relearn it. If not, you can catch a Mienfoo on Route 3, which can relearn it.

Nah, I don't think it gets a boost, it's just guaranteed to have 110 base power regardless of whether an item is held.
-
I'm fairly certain Thief doesn't steal a trainer's item permanently as of Gen V. I haven't tested it in Reborn, but I presume Ame wouldn't make our lives easier by changing it.

Gotta be Porygon and Porygon2, surely? EDIT: Whoooa, wait a second, how could I forget about Rainbow Dash Rapidash

I would say 9; she was definitely the hardest battle in the game for me, and the only one that I actually had to change my team for. Although on reflection, I could probably have just used an Ability Capsule to get Flash Fire on my Arcanine. I didn't find Luna or Mewtwo difficult at all, but that's probably because of my Meowstic (Light Screen, Reflect and Misty Terrain with Prankster and Light Clay is an insanely useful combination in Reborn) and Florges.

I can tell you now that you are really not going to like the hopping puzzles in Route 2.

Something like this should work:
-
There are dark patches on the walls that you can use Rock Smash on.

Yep, in fact I just reached the end of Episode 14 today; that's testament to how good Reborn is. It's a shame I didn't get a chance to test out the Toxic Orb before the end of the episode, but Zangoose's time will come...

Yeah, shofu isn't too good with fields... I'm looking forward to his next episode to see how he deals with Charlotte. I'm convinced that it's impossible to beat her with brute force alone, but I'd love to see him try to prove me wrong.

Really? I didn't notice haha. I wanted to try it out anyway though I now have the Skuntank by the way, hooray

Meowstic with Light Clay set up Light Screen, then I just used Leech Seed and Spiky Shield with Chesnaught (holding Big Root). Two turns was enough to heal all the damage I took thanks to Arceus' high HP. I used Rock Smash in between to decrease its Defense too. Eventually the Light Screen faded and Chesnaught fainted, so I then sent out Arcanine to finish the job with Extremespeed. Pretty much the same method I used to take out Garchomp.

You can find it in one of the alleyways on a stormy night, then you have to chase it around all of the different ones. I caught it a couple of days ago, so it's definitely still in the game.

Yes, it is! It's from Mystery Island Many years ago, when I joined my first online forum, I had no idea what to use as my avatar, so I just took that from Neopets I don't play it anymore, but it was a great game.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone I think I abandoned my sanity long ago, but maybe I should check it's not lurking somewhere. Damn Maybe someday I'll check every tile, but that day is not today. My team in Reborn is a pretty defensive one: - Chesnaught with the Spiky Shield + Leech Seed combo and Big Root - Dual screens Prankster Meowstic with Light Clay - Intimidate Arbok with Glare and Bite for paraflinch - Arcanine with Heat Wave for changing those fields - Seaking with Lightningrod because... Seaking with Lightningrod - Ursaring with Facade for that awesome Guts combo once I get the Toxic Orb, and with Baby-Doll Eyes (it's surprisingly useful, especially for that Garchomp) and Feint Attack for accuracy hax

Nah, it's fine, Amaria jumping off a waterfall doesn't really mean anything to me at this point. All I know is she's a badass who goes around making frozen staircases and taking Superpowers like it's nothing.
