  1. I think I encountered some kind of bug.

I remembered about the Mareep in the hotel in Gearen City, and wanted to add it to my team. But when the girl talks to me, she still says I don't even have a gym badge and haven't traveled much, but I in fact have 2 gym badges.

Interestingly, I think the same thing happened with the Vulpix in Reborn, because I still can't get that either despite having 12 badges.

  2. I don't dislike or hate any Pokemon just for them being them, but there are some that give me unpleasant mental images, the worst of which is Vullaby. Vullaby makes me see perpetually angry old ladies who smell like a rotten pizza smoking cigarettes in a dilapidated apartment building and being disrespectful with people over the phone.

Infernape used to make me see someone in a hospital room unconscious and covered in their own dried bodily fluids, but thankfully that association is gone now, and now it's the clown car that Bowser and/or his son (I can't remember) drive in the Mario games.

  3. There's one thing that I've been thinking about. It's not a plot hole, just something I find confusing. Sirius and his Chandelure at the LCCC scene. why not just fight off the Chandelure with your Pokemon? It shouldn't be a problem, since you would've beaten him before either at Yureyu or the Tanzan house.

EDIT: also why is there a Wynaut in my post

  4. I always wondered about the Gym Guide. Are you the only one he follows around for gym advice? How is he at every gym at the same time?

@the topic: I first thought Ame would be the Champion, until I read that she didn't even want to have an author avatar. I have a few ideas, but they have some holes in them, and I'm the kind of person who'd rather wait and see than theorize beforehand. (because if there was a correct theory, there's no surprise)

  5. One of the following, for reasons listed

Limber: I crack the joints in my fingers, toes, and back a lot.

Unaware/Oblivious/Own Tempo/Klutz: I don't pay attention to very much, and I forget a lot of things. I once missed a day of school because I forgot how to lock doors, and the bus had already left while I was trying to figure it out.

Adaptability: Not because I'm good at getting used to things, but because I'm good at finding ways around them that make the tasks easier.

Super Luck: happens to me a lot.

  6. I don't know the official name, but sharp objects being near/pointed at me. One time in middle school, a kid kept trying to poke me with a pen even after I asked several times to stop. My fight or flight response ended up activating and I choked him.

Another time I was working with a theater group for a scene and we were playing around with props and other objects. One of the people was playfully pointing a plastic fork at people for some reason having to do with the scene that I can't remember now and I instinctively jumped back. It didn't lead to anything like the pen incident, because she stopped when I did.

  7. I always try to get a Water type, because I like Surf and it would help if my surfer is part of my battle team. Most of the time, Water is already covered as my starter. Other than that, there's not really a type I feel a compulsion to always use, but I've always happened to have a Psychic type except in Kanto.

  8. Electric and Fairy.

Electric: I've always really liked the element of electricity/lightning, and paralysis is one of my favorite status effects to inflict. It also has the Mareep line, which are my favorite Pokemon.

Fairy: I like fairies, and a lot of the Fairy-type Pokemon are adorable. ^ w ^ I also like the fact that they're immune to Dragon.

  9. My endgame team will have 6. Right now I'm at 4. I'm thinking about what my 5th will be (Excadrill is a strong candidate), and my planned 6th isn't available yet.

Normally in Pokemon games I only EV train for the post-game battle facilities, but I've been doing some in Reborn since EVs are visible and I might as well take advantage of that and make sure they get EVs that complement their stats.

  10. i sent u this earlier but i'm not sure which one u'll see first, so: i noticed when playing oras that kirlia didn't learn psybeam anymore leveling up. until it evolved into gardevoir and learned psychic, the only offensive psychic move it had was confusion. idk if this started in oras or xy, but yea.

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of learnsets have been updated to ORAS, not just Roselia.

That's what she meant. She knows about Roselia's changes because she looked them up after hers learned Petal Blizzard. She was asking about other negative changes to other Pokemon learnests in ORAS where the Pokemon learns a move that doesn't complement its stats (like in this case, Roselia learning a physical move when it's specially oriented), doesn't learn a good move at all that it used to know, etc.
