  1. ....if you think he won't have Psychic/Fairy type, probably Garde, you're kidding yourself.
  2. Tomas Elliot made a roleplay idea for a sort of Pokemon Conquest: Reborn where he made it like "The Song of Roland," pretty much like a French version of King Arthur and it was in Kalos. Unfortunately, I was the cohost and I ended up getting mired down by real life concerns so we were forced to leave the idea where it was and Tomas has moved on to Pokemon Se7en so the idea has been shelved. Maybe one day we'll return to it.
  3. Adrienn will likely have HP Ground nearly everywhere when we fight xyr because Ground kills both of fairy's weaknesses, along with a bit of HP Fire in case you hacked in a Skarm or have an air balloon.
  4. the Meteors catch it, turn it into PULSE Absol, and use it to signal to all destructive Pokemon that it is their time like a beacon
  5. Never said it was the best strat, I just suggested how he could potentially make it work. I thought it was implied to require doubles since you want to be setting up and then utilizing those boosts and then activate TR. I'll edit my post to reflect this. also inb4 physical Espeon
  6. If you really want to make it work, just set up before activating Trick Room. Once you have Cursed 6 times, then you activate Trick Room and become unstoppable. Edit: This will only truly work in doubles with Curse and TR being on separate mons.
  7. Heracross can now have egg moves on joining your party. The one I just got has Rock Blast. I would assume Pinsir also is eligible for egg moves although the moves it gets from breeding are pretty shallow tbh. The only really useful one is Quick attack for Mega.
  8. In case anyone is curious, Linoone is now available in the tall grass of Route 1.
  9. Okay, so a CroCune and Technician HP Rock Roserade core kinda kills your team. Something with Dry Skin would definitely help with CroCune and a very specific Pokemon works well to check Roserade. The only who combines a check to both CroCune and the aforementioned Roserade is Toxicroak, who can certainly benefit from the SDs you'll be passing. A set like Toxicroak @ Life Orb Ability: Dry Skin EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Drain Punch - Poison Jab - Sucker Punch - Ice Punch would optimize the Baton Passes by having recovery, quite extreme damage, and excellent coverage. Max Attack and Adamant are to punch hole in near anything and Max Speed is so you can outspeed the entire tier after a couple of Speed Boosts from Ninjask. Sucker Punch for Psychics and Priority to counter the few priority moves in UU, Ice Punch for Flying and Ground types, Poison Jab for STAB and Grass types. Drain Punch for STAB and recovery. Hope it works out for you!
  10. Too much hype, not enough actual games I can play rn.

  11. So I should probably finish playing Dishonored. Problem is I'm not the best at parkour/stealth/combat hybrids.

  12. Both Blast and Magnet Powder are primarily availible on 7th Street. A magnet powder can also be found in the fsctory where you take down PULSE Muk. Blast Powder, used to remune rocks, is available before 7th Street through the glorious ability Pickup.
  13. INCONVENIENT BARRICADES Pokemon, as well as many other franchises such as Fire Emblem, are notorious for this cliche. What is it exactly? Well you know how there's a really cool item right over there that you can use to become more powerful? Yeah, you can't get to it because of the little kid learnign to tie his shoe in the middle of the road. Yes, he takes up the entire road. Yes, he is five. Yes, when you obtain another element "crucial" to the plot, he will have tied his shoes and be standing by the side of the road so you can finally pass. What's the point of being the hero of an RPG if you can't even politely ask a little kid to let you passed so you can, oh, I don't know, save the universe from unending darkness? But na, that kid really just needs to tied his shoe. Or an old man i laying in the street until he gets his coffee. Or you can't advance towards that castle until you take a different one, thus allowing another event to take place and a new enemy force to spawn. More examples here because I'm lazy and/or tired: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/InsurmountableWaistHeightFence
  14. lol it's me no one even knew I still looked at this thread. BBD come on out k bye
  15. For the Knight's Watch.

  16. I have to say Manectric. Damn, that thing is powerful. It can easily abuse the first TM available, TM 57 Charge Beam, through STAB and a solid Special Attack. Furthermore, it learns Discharge very appropriate for the Discharge Pokemon via level up be 30 even if you evolve it, allowing you to easily abuse certain fields and completely bypass the effects of others through reliable para-hax. Once Noel is defeated, if you payed careful attention to your IVs earlier, Manectric becomes even more dangerous. By complete chance on my current run of Reborn, I obtained a Manectric who has HP Ice, making it even more dangerous than before. I never once even picked up an Electrike before Reborn but now that I have, it's been on every team since. Y, AS, and in every other fan game I've played since. Manectric has stayed a loyal electric dog.
  17. I put an EXP Share on my Mareep and went to the Grand Hall to train. It got to level 25 from the first kill.

  18. Nice, nice. My first pokemon was also a Cyndaquil, although I will mention that there's only like a 1/8 chance of a starter pokemon being female, so props to you for being lucky. Anyway, see ya around!
  19. Flash Fire is much better than Infiltrator imo especially if you plan to directly pass a couple of Speed Boosts to Chandy due to Ninjask's weakness to Fire. If you don't have a sub up at that point, you can BP to Chandy, get the Flash Fire boost, Trick the switch in, and proceed to destroy. For Nidoqueen, I think Black Sludge might help a bit more. Recovery is an important thing to have on a phaser such as Dragon Tail users, Whilwind-ers, Roar-ers, ect. because then they can do their job for longer and continue to force switches all match long.
  20. I've yet to play a MH game (although I do plan on getting MH4U soon), but I might hop in this one. I do agree a think some sort of plot would help strengthen the RP as a whole.
  21. Here's random UU battle I saved. I tried to think a step ahead of this guy most times and it did backfire more than once. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/uu-239898222
