  1. There was one thing Shiro's been worried about, though, and he could not bottle up the question at the tip of his tongue for much longer. After a deep breath, he raised his head and spoke... "We... we'll stay friends, right!?"
  2. It was apparent by Robert's sudden reaction, which, by the way, left Shiro completely boggled, as Robert never really showed such emotions before, that he realized what was going on. There was no more reasons to hide it from him, but Shiro couldn't bring himself to say anything, so he simply nodded. It was difficult looking at Robert right now... so he stayed his head down. He gave no reaction even when Shun embraced his ankle, or when a tear rolled down his cheek. It was... too painful.
  3. Now I gotta go buy myself a new 3ds charger for christmas ~

  4. The matchups have finally been presented. Group B... He was going to face off against Henry, huh... Somehow, the thought of it scared him, made him feel uneasy... But he had to win! Because... otherwise... "So, it seem everyone has their own big challenges they'll have to cover on the way. Let's do our very best and show them what we can do." "Uh, yeah... I suppo-" A hand suddenly grabbed him from behind, pulling him around violently. "Shirooooo!!!" A loud lady squeezed the boy with full force, pulling him dep into her stomach. She was tall, almost 190cm and quite athletic. She wore a deep blue t-shirt over a black shirt, and denim pants beneath it, tied around her waist by a belt with bunch of poke balls of various kinds attached to it. Her wavy hair, almost reaching her behind, was pulled back by a blue hairband, so her ears were completely visible. Two single patches of hair fell down on her face, directly between her blue eyes. She seemed rather young, not older than 25. Two imposing giant men dressed in black stood behind her. Shun turned around, dropping any business she was doing, and began eyeing her the moment she appeared. "Stop, Anna!" Shiro managed to somehow free himself from her tight grasp. She was his cousin, the always upbeat and happy child of his father's older brother and the curent head of the Advent company. She was also the person who called him on that day to tell him the news... She pulled back when he pushed himself away and put on a wide smile. "Come on, cheer up a bit, I jst came to say hello and wish you good uck before the competition." 'As if...' She put a finger on her lips and looked around, measuring the boys' stall. "Ramen, huh? I've never seen you cook any at home. Is it any good?" Her eyes stopped at Robert, and she jumped up. "Oh, is that your friend? Shiroooo ~~~ I never expected you to make any! Too bad it has come to this though, now it'll be harder for you to leave all of this behind. I hoped you would know better, I mean, you knew what was going to happen eventually, so why make bonds only to have them broken? Anyways, I'm Anna, pleased to meet you." She reached out her hand to Robert, but she pulled it back before the boy could react. "Well, I'll be off now. Good luck, Shiro, and see ya later ~ I still have some things to discuss with prof Redwood." She said, waving a bunch of papers in her hand while smiling at them. After that, she bounced off into the distance towards the other stalls, leaving Shiro shaken. She just had to come here and do this, didn't she? She was enjoying tormenting him! But it wasn't always like that... They used to play together as kids, and she was always like a big sister, until she suddenly became like this... What happened to her? He never realized the answer to the question.
  5. I was actually planning on my character joining up at one of the checkpoints in Sigeto if it's okay. I should probably pm you about what I have in mind ~
  6. Sooooo, I got my Alpha Sapphire! But..... I lost my 3ds charger... lol

    1. Amethyst
    2. DarkLight
    3. Shing

      Shing

Sucks to be you. But it's worse to be me. My 3ds charger is broken.

  7. Doing the stall thing with Robert was, thankfully, going better than Shiro had anticipated. He was afraid and nervous that what was going to happen soon wouldn't have let him relax for even a minute, but here he was, having fun with his friend like nothing major was going on. He was grateful for that bliss, even if it was only temporary. He was just about to ask Robert a little something about cooking, since he never really made ramen before, when he noticed Robert was at the counter, talking to an adult man and woman, his parents. Shun was frozen in a bow directed at the duo. Two bright red pieces of cloth were tied up around her hands the same way as some wrestlers or whatnots tie them up to serve as gloves. She insisted on wearing those over that scar, but it looked silly only on one hand, so he tied one around her other hand too. But silly her, she shouldn't have stayed in that position as long as the customers were present. She apparently felt his eyes on her, as she quickly straightened up, her face blushing a little. She tried to hide it but it was apparent, and Shiro smiled. Or did he smile at the scene with Robert and his parents? He never had a caring family like that... His parents were always too busy, so he was basically brought up by nannies. It must be great to have someone who cares about you and visit you to cheer you on... The only visit Shiro expected right now wasn't going to be one he looked forward to.. Soon, Robert's parents left and he returned to cooking. "So, were those your parents?" Shiro turned to him with a smile and asked.
  8. @Turbo: Is it okay if I don't update right now? I'm kind of tired and I still got one day of school before the winter break. If you want, you can have Shun help out at the counter. C:
  9. Shiro came back after all the battles have already been finished. His eyes remained kind of distant even while Shun was jumping around him to welcome him. He quietly walked over to the buses and took a seat by himself, leaving Shun still boggled as she watched him gaze outside the window. 'Could it be all over already...' He didn't expect her to call this early... It was all too soon and he wanted it to last, but now...
  10. So, will the gates already be open for everyone to visit at the start of Chapter 3?
  11. 11:15 pm, stairway to Ryuudou Temple -Maria is sitting at the base of the stairs, with her phone on her ear and a faint smile on her face "Yes, I'll let you know how it went, and please don't worry, I've got the situation under control. Mhm, I promise. Okay, I won't forget, bye." The phone on my ear goes silent. It was Andrea. He's worrying about me, as always, the same as Rider. It's weird, I thought a personality like him would be all in for a reckless plan like this, but he seemed reluctant, even though his face and behaviour didn't reflect it, I could somehow sense it this afternoon. Like it matters, their worries are meaningless. Though it wasn't like I had a choice. We have to get some information for ourselves, else we'll fall behind the other Masters. Besides, even if something goes bad, I still have my three Command Spells I can use to summon Rider by my side. It is time. As I take a deep breath I stand up with my hands opened in front of me. Three origami butterflies lie on them, their wings riddled with scriptures and runes I inscribed. "Volare..." I chant upon them, allowing the circuits inside my body to flow free, bringing the butterlies to life. Their small bodies mad out of paper rise to the skies, each flying in their own direction, and I watch them fade away into the darkness of the night. There's no turning back now... 11:20 pm Three huge explosions of prana fill the skies above Miyama Town with magic. One above the Temple, the other above the clear area closer to the sea and the final one above the forest at the outskirts of the city. The explosions are sure to capture the attention of some magi, and their sources keep releasing more prana so they serve as pointers, leading whoever wants to find them towards them. Somebody is clearly trying to make themselves noticed. ((I rushed things cuz stuff kinda got really really really slow, so if anyone still wants to finish their interactions from earlier, they are free to do so, but state that it's happened before the evening. if this was inconvenient in any way, state it in the OOC thread and I'll have this post deleted and whatnot ~))
  12. So, I have an idea on how to put Hels aside for the moment while not having him be forced out of Japan, cuz seriously, the MA wouldn't have let him leave anyways. During the day 2's evening, I'm gonna have to ask the MA guys to split up at some point, so that Hels and Lancer are on their own. I'm going to set the situation so that the splitting up part makes sense. And now, let us resume the roleplay. ^^
  13. I'll see what I can do... Hopefully your problems will be resolved soon enough, so good luck
  14. So Sissy doesn't know many people, huh? She seemed like a friendly enough girl to Shiro. "Then it can't be helped... Unless you know his name, Robert, we should go do something, right?" 'Friends do stuff together, right? And there's not really a point in having the conversation if nobody knows anything ~' A sudden gentle poke to his neck broke his thoughts. 'Shun?' The Kirlia and the boy exhanged looks before she turned away and pointed her finger at another battlefield where a Tyrunt and a Frogadier were battling. 'Yeah, there are still battles going on, and Shun wants to see them.' "I know! Maybe we should go watch others fight! We could learn something valuable from it. There's a battle going on, so le-" A sudden start of a melodic jingle startled Shiro. His phone? Who could it be? Shiro reached out and pulled his phone out of his pocket. On the white, buzzing screen, four letters were written in deep, jet black. 'Why would she be calling? What if...!?' Whatever it was though, good news or bad news, he needed to answer. "I- I'll be back soon... Shun, you stay here." He mumbled to his friends nervously and put Shun down on the ground, much to her dismay, before running off in the opposite direction. Shun then turned to Robert and Sissy and shrugged her shoulders. This was one of those situations where not even she could read him. She could just hope it wasn't anything important, but, from the way he ran off... Something was wrong, that was for sure.
  15. "S- so it was that student, what was his name... who did that?" Shiro asked onc Sissy finished talking.
  16. A bit dissapointing, to say the least. Shun climbed up on Shiro's back after the battle with a dissatisified look on her face. If these people are to be her opponents in the future, there was nothing to worry about. "Ri ~" Shiro, on the other hand, was a bit down because of Robert's loss. He really thought he would have won the battle against Claude, even more so when he saw that Kiai was now a Lucario, which was truly amazing. "Robert, you okay? Claude was surprisingly tough... I never would have guessed you'd lose against him... Uhm, and congrats about Kiai!"
  17. Really, haha? Funny, because I was constantly on my toes because I was expecting someone (mainly either you or Tses cuz he was interacting with your OCs) to complain about my writing of Shiro ~ I'm really glad and relieved to hear you say that, though
  18. Shiro followed behind Robert and Sissy and sat next to her on the bench. Shun jumped down and sat on her knees next to her trainer. She crossed her hands and focused on the field. "Good luck!" Shiro waved at Robert from the bench.
  19. "Sorry, it's because of me that we got carried away talking about obvious things... a- and I don't have anything better to do so let's go watch whichever battle you'd like to see." Shiro said with a smile.
  20. "S-so, you're saying I, no we-" His eyes flashed left towards Shun and she responded the same way. Her sky blue eyes... "we won because we trusted one another!" 'So, if what Robert says is true, was that the feeling I had during the battle? That warm fuzzy feeling...' He pondered on the thought. "Do you and your Pokemon feel like that during battle? It's like Sissy told me. I have to be able to put my trust in my Pokemon, and you, b- because we're friends, right, and friends stick together." He smiled. 'Yeah... friends.' He got lost in thought. At that moment, he felt truly happy and that was something he never felt in his life. At home, he had everything except friends... so he couldn't feel real joy. But now... Robert... Shun... He wasn't alone anymore.
  21. "I'm Shiro. Uhm, pleased to meet you. And... I- I suppose I should thank her too. She was the one who really stood up for me." He said, smiling at Shun when he heard Robert speaking. He turned to him to hear what he was saying. What Robert said didn't quite get to Shiro at that point though. Shun, however, enjoyed the praise she received from the boy. He jumped suddenly when he realized he had just blurted out to Robert and then went on to speak to Sissy, ignoring his friend to an extent. "Sorry sorry sorry! I didn't mean to ignore you... But, what you said... M- my determination? I suppose... I was determined to win, but can that alone make a difference. I mean... if Shun and Sharph weren't there..."
  22. Shun landed gracefully on her left knee after hitting Miffy directly with her attack. She rose up as her horns returned to red to bow to her foes. She saw the Misdreavus doing the same thing to Shiro. Shiro, however, was standing in awe at his victory. The whole thing was something new to him. The blazing rush of victory made his heart pump harder. He didn't notice, but he was crying. "Shun, that was awesome!" He welcomed his Pokemon as she jumped into his embrace. "Ri ~" She chirped into his chest and grasped his sweater. She was overjoyed; her trainer praised her, her and not some dumb lizard thing which was made for battle. She proved to him and herself that she was indeed strong and worthy, and there was no better feeling than the feeling of self-accomplishment shared by both of them. "Now THAT was a great battle. I just hope I can do as good in my own match as you two." "Huh?" Shiro rose his head when he heard the familiar voice. And there he stood, along with Sissy. Robert. How long has he been here? "Shun, let's go." He held her up, a bit surprised at how light she still was, and put her on his shoulder, where she took a comfortable seat. "Robert, hey! Did you see that, it was so cool! Shun was so great, wasn't she!" He turned to Sissy then and reached out with his hand. "Thanks, i- if it wasn't for the things you said, I... Thanks!" He said with a nervous laugh.
  23. "You need to trust your partner and your heart." "She evolved in the middle of our battle." 'Is it true? Shun did that just for me, and I can't even put my trust into her? I can't even believe in my own strenght? I- I should change that. Shun, I won't let you down.' A smile danced on his lips. "I- I'll change, Shun! You can trust me, a- and I'll trust you! Now, if they want a performance, let's give them one!" 'Am I... enjoying this? This is the first time I am feeling this way during a battle. This rush, this... warmth? It's because of Shun- and Sharph, even Tal! I- I wil battle with all I've got since I'm battling for them too.' He stuck his hand into his pocket, pulling out his Pokedex. 'So I was right, her new move is Magical Leaf. Then...' "Shun, block her strike with Magical Leaf and then strike back with Breaker while she's still close!" Shun nodded in response and made a piruette, summoning a flurry of magic leaves around herself, blocking her from view. The pillar of leaves burst into multicolored lights when Miffy's charged up Iron Tail hit them, just when Shun's two horns began glowing purple again. She focused her energy into her feet and right fist, plummeting herself right at the Flaffy with full force. "Go, Shun!!"
