#04 TOWN - HOUSE SENA *+Ghost girl???* "Well duh, the super special Space Aether Academy Ghost Division! We, and by that I mean me and Dolly, search for ghosts. Like, not Ghost Pokemon, but ghosts! And I've seen you're interested in the ghost case here in #04, so naturally I recruited you!" The girl speaks relentlessly and excitedly as the Shuppet floats around her head. She grows silent for a moment, putting a finger on her chin. "Oh don't worry about this guy. We'll just dump him off outside and someone should find him. Anyways, we'll be moving out to find the ghost woman during the festival tonight! I'm pretty sure she'll show up. Then we capture her and have her talk to us about the ghost world! You in?" She seems to be expecting, no, she seems she's already decided that Sena's answer should be yes, from the way her eyes sparkle as she draws closer to the boy, hands clasped. --------------------------------------------------------- #04 TOWN EMMANUEL & CATHODE *+Uno, 3 patrolling Cadets* "Uhm.." The Cadets seem somewhat disgruntled by Emmanuel's words. "So have you witnessed the disappearance? All of the disappearances have happened at night. Like, he probably just wandered off. We can come look with you if you're really that worried."

#04 RISTORANTE RADOVAN *+Zeta; Rubia* "Why yes, Gyarados meat is hard to come by. Although you must've heard about the recent surge of wild Magikarp evolutions around these waters. This is no special occassion, this is simply us eating the Gyarados the Chief killed at the beach. The Chief specializes in training Magikarp and Gyarados, so this is a way of saying thank you to the Pokemon for him." Rubia answers calmly. "They say it's rough and lacks taste. A proper delicacy, only for the strong jawed." Zeta bites a couple of times into thin air. "I hope I have a strong jaw..." "Unlikely." "Miss Rubia!" Zeta pouts, but Rubia has already focused on Radovan instead. "We've not been properly introduced. I am Rubia, the Chief's secretary, and thusly the chief secretary at Space Aether." She doesn't offer him a hand, rather just bows her head slightly. "What's a secretary?" "I do all the things the Chief is incapable of. Which equates to around 87% by last year's reports." "Wow, sounds tough!" "I've seen things."

#04 TOWN - HOUSE SENA *+Ghost girl???* As Sena began searching the room, he inevitable came across the window. The blinds wouldn't open from the inside and he had no way of opening the window either as it seemed to be purposefully jammed. Since he isn't looking for a way out, he comes across the closet next. Inside it he can hear the muffled sounds of someone's breathing. The closet doors come open as he approaches them, as if something heavy has pushed them open from the inside. And what falls out is the unconcious and tied up body of the man he'd been eavesdropping before getting 'kidnapped'. A loud thud obviously followed the fall of the man. Oh, and he doesn't appear harmed. "Ohoho, I see you've awoken." A voice reaches Sena from behind the door to the room. The sound of a key being inserted into the keyhole echo through the silence and with the turn of a knob.....and in enters a girl a bit shorter than Sena, waving her hands around theatrically as she opens the door, and a Shupper flying around her head. Her voice is now high pitched as she excitedly greets the boy. "WELCOME TO THE GHOST DIVISION, SENA!" Music: GHOST DIVISION!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ #04 TOWN EMMANUEL & CATHODE *+Uno, 3 patrolling Cadets* "We've not seen anyone like that." One of the Cadets answers politely. "Disappeared, you say? When and where was the last you've seen him?"

#04 TOWN SENA *+Ghost girl???* "Oooooh, I knew you were interested in ghost hunting from the moment I saw you asking around those girls earlier. Heehee, seems like I've found myself a good new pal. I will tell you everything, if you just come with me~" The girls says. She doesn't seem to notice Sena's increased hostility since she's more focused on the fact he's showing interest in her work. "So whaddaya say, I'm right heeeere~" One moment she seemed to be away, yet the next the voice came right from behind Sena's ear. Just when did she sneak up on him? Sena can feel her hot breath on his ear as she whispers and soon a pair of hands lay on his shoulders. "Sleep now, little Noibat and my new friend! Dolly and I will take you away~" Suddenly, a shadow envelops Sena and Verna and he feels its weight pressing down on him. Before he and Verna can move or act, he passes out. The last thing he hears is the girl's voice again. "You lost the moment you didn't retaliate immediately. Were you so naive to think I hadn't noticed you tensed up? I'm not in the Academy for nothing~ So take a short break and we'll talk once you've calmed down." --- Music: Watchful eyes... Everything is silent. Sena slowly opens his eyes to find himself laying softly in a rather comfy bed. Verna's Aether Ball is next to him, as she probably tried to fight back unauthorized so she got recalled. Either way, both of them appear suprisingly safe. In the room there's the bed, quite large, actually, a bedside cupboard, a large closet and the door leading outside. The window's covered so he can't tell which time of day it is. Oh, but his A-Comm seems to be missing. [What will Sena do?] 1) Try for the door? 2) Try for the window? 3) Something else? ---------------------------------------------------------------- #04 TOWN EMMANUEL & CATHODE *+Uno, 2 rando Cadets* "Bye bye." "Yupyup, good riddance." The group leave the foul-mouthed Cadets behind to their break. Talking to them was certainly no help, however, Emmanuel and Cathode got a glimpse into how some of their peers think about them after the whole #08 deal. While the higher-ups were all acting nice to them for their accomplishment, well aside from Mason, some of their peers seemed to resent them. What an unwelcome acknowledgement. Either way, Emmanuel would point his A-Comm at the two Cadets as they walked away and their info would pop up. One of them was Orlando and the other was Nando. They both rhymed with rando, obviously. Uno left Cathode and walked up to Emmanuel. "I agree, you should report them. I barely held back a punch..." She sighs. "Come here, Cathode, it's not your fault. We'll get you some ice cream if you want on the way." The group goes on to search for some more Cadets. This time, they find a group of three patrolling the streets. These ones don't seem to be on break. [How do you approach them?] ------------------------------------------------------ #04 RISTORANTE RADOVAN *+Zeta; Rubia* "Oh?" The woman lowers the menu to peek over it at Radovan. She takes notice of Zeta as well. "Good day, miss Zeta." She says, ignoring Radovan's request. Zeta seems surprised at first but she soon straightens up in her seat and jumps from the chair. "Miss Ruby! I didn't realize it was you!" She smiles. "What a silly mistake. Please be more observant next time, miss Zeta." "Yes! I will! Oh, Radovan, Mr Mason took me to see miss Ruby the other day because he said that the 'lousy chief' wasn't at the big Aether building." She says as she walks over to the table. By this time, Rubia has put the menu down completely. "Lousy is certainly a fitting epithet. However, Chief is still the only Chief we have. Regardless, you wish to eat here. No need for menus then." She throws it behind herself, all with a disinterested expression. "Then please join Chief and I. There will be plenty of meat for everyone." "Ooooooh Radovan we can have carriemeat too! Yay!" Zeta exclaims, sitting on the chair the Chief sat on previously. She takes his glass and smells inside. "Smells weird~" The girls concludes with a smile on her face, putting the glass back down. "The Chief is off duty currently so I allow it." Rubia replies, but turns to Radovan afterwards with a slight frown. "Why don't you join us, I said." She says it less as a question and more as a command.

#04 TOWN SENA *+1 rando security guy; ???* Sena stands by to listen in on the man's conversation. "But boss this ghost is real, we've all seen her take people! She's gonna take us too, I know it, we're interrupting her dance with the festival parties!" The man continues histerically. As he speaks, he starts sobbing into the phone and goes quiet. However, Sena suddenly hears a snicker coming from somewhere behind him, around the corner to an alley. "Teeheehee-! You coulda gotten more info had you asked, but I like your style, mr junior detective!" A girl's voice speaks to him. It sounds fairly young, around Sena's age actually. "You stayed hidden in the shadows, like a ghost! Perfect, you'd be perfect investigator as part of the Space Aether Academy's Ghost Division!" What the girl's talking about, Sena doesn't know, but if she's going to the Academy, she probably shouldn't be out here on #04. [Either:] 1) Turn the corner and face the girl? 2) Try to do literally anything else? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- #04 TOWN EMMANUEL & CATHODE *+Uno, 2 rando Cadets* "W-will she be alright, Emmanuel?" Uno asks the boy worriedly, seeing Cathode off alone into the wide world. She took a few steps towards the two Cadets but kept her distance. Meanwhile, with Cathode... "Uhm." "Yupyup. Uhm." Both Cadets look at Cathode as she asks the question. One of them is munching on a sandwich while the other seemed to be typing something on his A-Comm while smirking. Both of them seem mildly annoyed and also confused. "Cathode Granazia, one of the Cadets connected to the reclamation of Nexus #08." The one typing on the A-Comm says matter-of-factedly. "But you seem to be on vacation now." "Yupyup. How nice that some of us get to relax, isn't it?" The one munching on the sandwich chimes in disinterestedly. "Yes, and this girl seems to want to meddle in our work yet again, it seems." "Yupyup. Just because they were the ones who met that Nexus Girl, they got to walk away with everyone else's mission. We ended up reassigned from exploring that world because of them." "But oh boy, isn't she pretty awkward? Failing to even ask us a proper question. What is it that you wish to know anyways, about the disappearances?" "Yupyup, probably. Should we answer her even?" "No, if she's so great and her friends are so great, they probably don't need our help." "Yupyup. You heard him. Be on your way." "That's enough!" Uno runs up behind Cathode and places her hands on her shoulders. "You two should be ashamed! I couldn't even keep watching! Cathode, are you alright?" "My my what a native babe." "Yupyup. Pretty large." "Do they all grow so big around her?" Uno is pretty tall and rather toned for a woman, but you don't think they meant that...and obviously neither does she, as she frowns immediately following this remark. "Y-you two..." Uno's gentle hold on Cathode's shoulders suddenly turns into an embrace. She turns to the side, holding Cathode pressed against her body, and shields her from the two Cadets. Her face is red and she's obviously pretty damn pissed. "We'll be going, Cathode, Emmanuel. Let's find someone who will actually help us." [Where to?] ------------------------------------------------------ #04 RISTORANTE RADOVAN *+Zeta; 'Chief'* Radovan opts to seat himself and Zeta at a table next to the man and woman. Now that they're nearer, they can make out some of the conversation. The man takes a long sip of his drink, placing the glass down with a satisfied sigh. "So what you're saying is they still haven't caught the ghost, Rubia my secretary." The way he speaks is a bit convoluted. Perhaps his drink isn't soft~? "Correct, Chief. This is the third time you've already reaffirmed this with me today. Could it be that something about this is bothering you? Perchance Sey?" "Na you misundertand. Sey's a big boy, he can take care of himself, I ain't worried about him. Well he probably did get kidnapped too but well, what can ya do." "I will let it slide because of your current state. But if it isn't about your son, then what is it?" "It's that they still haven't brough us our food." "Pardon my intrudence, but exactly how is that connected, sir Chief?" "How's it not? We would not be having Gyarados today had this whole thing not happened. I tell ya the ghost has something to do with the evolutions too. And the global economy fail." "What economy fail? And, more importantly, what globe?" "Y-yknow what I meant." "No I don't." "Well anyways..." The man stands up, pushing his chair to the floor. He puts his hat on his head and grunts. "I'll go check in the kitchen. Help em scale the meat." "Please begone, sir Chief, this conversation tires me." And the man goes away deeper into the restaurant, giving Radovan and Zeta a sideways glance and a wink while doing a slight bow with his head and hat. "OooohOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHH!!!!! Radovan they're having a garymeat! What's a kiaradosmeat??" Zeta asks. She'd been intently staring at the man and woman the entire time, in a totally obvious way of listening in to their conversation. "Can we get it too?" It is at this point that Radovan would realize there was no menu anywhere, and that, just now, Chief went away with the lady that had greeted them to the restaurant somewhere out of their view. However, the woman sitting on the table next to them suddenly holds what appears to be a menu in front of her face so that the two Cadets couldn't see it anymore. She does not seem to have any wish to converse. [Address her anyways? If she's holding a menu, then...]

#04 TOWN SENA *+2 rando girls* As Sena continues his detective work around town, he overhears a man talking on his Comm. "W-what do you think I still have to work here? C-can't you see we're actually being threatened here!?" The man is quite buff but his voice is that of a terrified person, squeaky and pleading. [Either:] 1) approach the man and talk to him? 2) hide and eavesdrop on the man? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ #04 TOWN EMMANUEL & CATHODE *+Uno* Uno walks up to Cathode and Emmanuel. "I promised I wouldn't leave you here for now, Cathode, isn't that right?" She says with an almost motherly smile. "Radovan, you and Zeta hurry along to the restaurant, I'll be going with them." She adds, waving to the duo that were left. "Save us the seats." Emmanuel, Cathode and Uno move in search of any patrolling Cadets around town. They soon find a pair sitting in the shadows with bottles of water. They seem to be on a break. When they notice the trio, they turn to them but give them no special attention. After all, they were on break, and even if Cathode was dressed as usual in her Aether attire (assuming she's dressed that way), she might be a patrolling officer as well, which is none of their concern for now. "You think we should talk to them?" [Approach them? What will you ask?] ------------------------------------------------------------------ #04 RISTORANTE RADOVAN *+Zeta* Radovan is left with Zeta and the two of them make their way to the restaurant they passed on the way. "Welcome!" The woman behind the counter, busy with the cooking, says as the two enter. The restaurant's interior is decorated with fine wood as well as traditional island ornaments. A fine wafting smell reaches Radovan's nose, pushing his guts into overdrive. It. Smells. Damn. Fine. Zeta breathes in deep next to Radovan and lets out a satisfied sigh. "Mmmmm! Hello!" She replies to the woman. Aside from them, in the restaurant are seated only two more people, and both at the same table. One is a rather large man in his middle years while the other is a young woman with a blank expression sitting at the other side of the table. They seem to be waiting for their food to come, sipping their drinks and discussing something in the meantime. The man is much livelier than the woman. On their table lay two very similar hats, though one seems a bit larger than the other. [Will you sit:] 1) at a table next to the man and the woman? 2) at a table away from the man and woman? 3) exit the restaurant altogether LUL?

#04 TOWN SENA *+2 rando girls* Verna flies up and begins scanning the area. However, she doesn't seem to see anything of note. The sun might be too strong to leave her out in the open like that for too long, though, so Seana should keep that in mind. Meanwhile, the two girls turn to Sena as he approaches them. They put down their drinks and one of them smiles, while the other one facepalms. "Girl, you're attracting weirdos again with your stupid ghost rambling." The other girl ignores her and focuses on Sena. "The rumor is there's a ghost of a woman terrorizing the town at night! People say she's like, dancing over rooftops at high speeds with the moon behind her so you only see her silhuette and it's rumored she's the one behind the missing people lately!" "Y-you don't really buy that shit, do you?" "Well duh, there's a bunch of Cadets around investigating it so it's gotta be real, right?" "You're hopeless..." The less excited girl now turns to Sena. "There's no wild ghost Pokemon around here, so don't listen to her. It's true that there's missing people, but it's more likely to be someone who's kidnapping them for real and not a ghost. Really people around here should stop believing such stupid stories already. This whole place is stupid, just old myths and folklore everywhere, ugh." The girls don't seem to know much, but Detective Sena has gained some insight into the case. [Move on?]

#04 TOWN SENA Uno and Zeta wave to Sena as he decides to go exploring. "Try to come back before dark or we might lose you in the crowd." Uno adds as he leaves. Is that how..? Either way, Sena makes his way deeper downtown and farther away from the beach and the seaside. Keeping to the shades cast by the buildings and houses, he makes his way towards the reported spot. Apparently, a lot of the ghost sightings have occured precisely downtown, where most of the nighttime action generally takes place. How would a ghost manage to escape without its identity revealed in such a crowd, and how could it even kidnap people? Uno's words echo in Sena's mind: 'lose you in the crowd.' Could that be the answer? As Sena ponders, he sees a couple of people nearby. They seem like tourists, two tanned young girls chatting at a cafe. "So like, have you heard about the ghost thing happening here?" "Uh, it sounds like some dumb folklore." "But people say that saw it at the roofs of the buildings and that it's a she, apparently very sexy, and that she's strong enough to lift a grown man up! Oh, and that she's dressed in the traditional island robes! Ah, she sounds perfect<3" "Girl, you're like, way too excited about this..." [Approach them?]

#04 TOWN EVERYONE *+Zeta, Uno* Music: Paradise Uno had no clue whether there was a food place nearby, so she took the others out to search for any such places. They eventually found one and noted its location-a nice traditional looking restaurant which appealed to the tropical background of #04's island culture. They served Magikarp, of course, fine dining. Further, Uno took them around town some more. Everything seemed to be quiet, although that was to be expected in such hot weather, no one was in town, everyone was at the beach. "The whole town bustles with life when evening falls. Oh, you'll just love the festival atmosphere!" Uno said. Apparently as a resort island, Wailuda boasted a vibrant night life. Uno's home was away from the center so it was still relatively quiet, but she said it would get really loud here in the center and at the beaches, especially around the festival. Hanging from the streetlamps and houses you can see paper decorations of Magikarp. People at stalls sitting quietly selling various Magikarp memorabilia. A shady looking person trying to sell you an awesome secret Pokemon for 500 bucks. It was weird how life at the seaside was so different, all because it's sunny and warm, so people seek out the shade of the nightfall. You wonder then, with such a bustling festival nights, how did the story of the ghost come to be? That's right, the ghost lady. You've heard back at the HQ that there have been several cases of missing people in Wailuda and that Cadets were actively searching the area for clues, but that mission wasn't your assignment, as you came here on vacation. Could there be truth in the story about the ghost? Would you then try to look for some of your colleagues? The sun wears you out simply from walking around. You could also technically go to the beach, though your Pokemon wouldn't be allowed there with you. Afternoon beckons for a swim, no? Don't forget to put sunscreen on, though. Where will you go: 1) the restaurant 2) the town center 3) investigate the ghost case 4) the beach [Everyone can go wherever they want. It's not mandatory you go as a group. UNO'S HOUSE EVERYONE *+Zeta, Uno*  "M-my room?" Uno blushes at Emmanuel's proposal. "I meant to sleep in the girls' room anyways..." Radovan's hug seemingly interrupts her, though the woman seemed uncomfortable speaking of her room either way. She was probably happy that she could dodge the issue for now. "I don't have a Magikarp, that's why we need to go fish for one. Oh and I live alone, yes. I've had some medical staff checking up on me while I was ill and some helpers to assist me through the day, but now I'm happy to be independent." She turns over towards Cathode. "Betani has abandoned this home long ago...she never came back once she left." She sighs. Zeta looks up at Uno suddenly. "That's how I lived until now, all alone with my Meggi and Murki, but now I'm with these guys." She chirps, at which Uno smiles. "Is that so? Well I'm glad you're happy." She says before patting the young girl's head. In a way, they were both quite childish in nature, despite Uno's appearances. "We should go check out the town if you all want. I've not been to it much so it'll be a new experience for me too! And then in the evening we can go look for fishing spots for you, Radovan."

UNO'S HOUSE EVERYONE *+Zeta, Uno* "Why of course, Radovan!" Uno claps her hands, a whimsical smile dancing excitedly on her lips. "I have already prepared a boat and a rod and we can go to the open seas in the evening to catch a nice and strong Magikarp for you! I was, well...I was hoping one of you would want to participate. We can enter as a team then and have more fun than just watching from the sidelines!" The woman speaks excitedly as nearly unbefitting of her apparent age. Cathode would've been able to let Suzie out in Uno's garden. The house itself wasn't at the beach, but rather slightly higher on a slope overlooking the beach, in an old part of the settlement, forested and further from the city's and island's center. It provided a nice view at the beach but was still far enough so that the sounds coming from the busy gatherings by the sea wouldn't bother them. Uno doesn't seem to mind Suzie's big body wreaking some havoc in the garden. In fact, she waves and nods towards the rock snake with a smile. Lampy jumps out of the pond and into Cathode's arms. He nods happily to signify there was nothing to worry about. "Oh is my house empty?" Uno asks Emmanuel back. "I've never noticed really. Does it bother you? No one really lives here but me a-and it's a big house, you know. Plus I was ill until only recently..."

Rosie & Rider The mad was not expecting such an early victory. When he heard Red's voice in his head, he pushed himself back up with genuine surprise written all over his drenched face. The storm was letting up but the fact he had felt such a wave of exhaustion all of a sudden was indicative enough that Red had to pull the trump card, and had forced him to a nearby bench, where he'd stopped giving a fuck about the umbrella anymore. /You won! But you're injured? Was the Servant that strong?/ He'd ask her, closing his eyes and letting out a sigh. He stretched out a bit and picked the umbrella up again before starting to move. /Meet me near the hotel, I'll see what I can do about your injuries. But stay out of site. Wait for me at one of the alleys./ He wanted to sound confident but he had no clue how to take care of an injured Servant. Especially if the injury was really as bad as it sounded. She sounded as if she was merely reporting it, sheesh...well he'd get her fixed up and get her a real good bed. He should get on to looking for a fancier hotel too so long as she's here, it was gonna be just a couple of days...his wallet could theoretically handle it. He hastened his step as he went back, even though his feet felt like shit. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saber & Nadia Tessa nodded as she followed Nadia. She kept her distance but still had the woman remain within her sight, as she had to make sure that cowboy and his Servant weren't following them. /I wholehartedly agree. I'd rather first observe this Berserker in action rather than challenge them myself. And it is as you say, if the Berserkers kills them all, it'll be simpler for us to win./ Eventually, once she felt the error margin was small enough, she switched to spirit form while no one was looking. /Besides, I am quite interested to see our base of operations~/ She said, perkily.

Mommo The mention of everyone dying grasped her heart for a moment. Could she do that? Could she keep being as selfish as she's always been even in face of such a decision? But she wasn't as selfish anymore. She'd always kept the people who were useful to her close, not really caring, but now she had someone she cared about. Mommo sighed. "Hellfire Knight..I'll think about things such as that...when the time comes." Mommo answered with determination. She took another step back away from Hiroki and Morgan, now standing next to Aries. She looked up at his face with a smile before looking back at the other two. "I appreciate your concerns...but I choose to ignore them anyways. I apologize." She gave a slight nod of her head which was supposed to signify a bowing gesture. Morgan kept her gave a bit longer than Hiroki though.

UNO'S HOUSE EVERYONE *+Zeta, Uno* "Radovan, please." Uno says as Radovan hugs her, but she doesn't do much aside from giggling like a little girl. More than anything, the gesture seems to have had her flustered all of a sudden, as her cheeks grew red in hue. Slowly, she hugs him back softly before letting go. "The beach is the best!" Zeta's voice interrupts as Radovan mentions her and she runs up to the group, smiling, a bit of sand in her hair. Uno smiles back and, with a graceful hand gesture that had Zeta focused on it in anticipation, pats the young girl's head to rid it of the sand. Zeta sneezes before smiling, as some sand must have gotten in her nose. "I'm supposed to say thanks now~" She answers, all-knowingly and proud of herself. "Ryugami Sena. I apologize for not having met with you directly before." Uno bows to the boy. "Do not worry about anything, you are as welcome into my home as everyone else here. After all, you're the ones who saved me." The woman proceeds to greet everyone else gathered there with a slight bow. "You've not heard of the traditional Magikarp Festival? It is the most important event here on this island, gathering people from all over the Nexuses. We do it when the Magikarp in our waters are readying to mate. Magikarp trainers from all over gather here to see whose Magikarp is the strongest in a series of competitions and battles. I've always wanted to see it, but I was too sickly to leave the mansion. The excitement from such a large gathering was dangerous for me." She smiles at Cathode. "There will be a crowd, but we are going to go together. I won't let you get separated from me, if it'll make you feel better. But please, let us proceed inside now. I need to show you to your rooms, and it is silly to stay here at the gates in this heat. Feel free to let your Pokemon roam through the gardens. The wall of the house will keep them from the passerbies' stares." With another bow, Uno steps to the side, greeting you to the gardens leading up to her home. The mansion is even larger from up close. It isn't as tall as it appeared to be, but it is a large estate anyways, spreding over from left to right, encompassing your vision. A clean dirt road leads to the traditional-looking wooden and paper entrance door. They open to the side and Uno leads you inside, where you can take a relaxing breath as cold air washes over you. It is air-conditioned despite its appearance. "Your rooms are upstairs. Let's leave your baggage there before I show you the rest of the house." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The house is even larger on the inside. You've left your possessions in two upstairs rooms-one for the boys and one for the girls, and have followed Uno's tour through the house. The house is encircled by the green gardens, with small ponds and such, with outside hallways connection to large rooms such as the kitchen or the table room. At one such pond, you've seen Lampy swimming around happily. The Chinchou waved its small fins at you and Uno waved back. "Lampy was looking forward to seeing you as well. We're both very grateful to your group." "I hope you don't get lost too much, I know it is a large house." Uno says whimsically, placing a hand over her lips. Something bothers you, though, the entire house is empty. And not just as in empty of people, it is empty of any decoration or items. It is merely equipped with the items and appliances any old house should have to be livable in. You've seen naught of Uno's own possessions or any pictures of the past. Almost like this house was abandoned, rather than inhabited by an adult woman who also claimed to have spent her sickly years inside. "Miss Uno, do you have ice cream?" Zeta asks as Uno leads the group to an outer hallway, where the young girl sits on the porch, looking at the garden with a big smile. "Of course, I have plenty of food I've bought just for this occassion!" Uno claps her hands merrily. "If you want I can get it for you now. And if anyone else wants something, I can bring it as well. Don't be shy to ask, I have plenty for all."

Mommo The reveal was a shocking one. She'd not come to know Aries all too well during their brief interactions, but she'd certainly come to care deeply for this man who extended her such trust. She gripped the meditative gift tightly, but couldn't quell her heart. There was not much she could do aside from letting her usual composure slip into a display of uncertainty, eyes widening ever so slightly. However, this issue was outside of her predetermined plan. She'd already lost the need to win the tournament and gained a new desire. She couldn't care anymore about defeating the Tenth God and becoming as such herself. No, she had a new ideal that was placed in front of her, one that, at the moment, outweighed all doubts she might've had about his decisions. She met his eyes, standing up to the fierce gaze as best she could, not defiantly, but embracing its weight. There may not be much time to rest in the forseeable future, so she didn't intend to take this too fast. She had to think it through, consider everything she knew and consider everything that meant something to her. Her past was spent for the tournament and her present was a crossroads. Throw away the past and choose a new and uncertain path? Or keep on existing? Existence would be in touch with how she'd always felt up until now. Mommo's sleepiness, her need to rest, her sloth. Throwing it away felt unnatural, yet she knew she would regret rejecting Aries. This burning wasted chance would be forever etched deep in her heart, turning it into a furnace that suffocates true peace of mind. She would never again be able to rest in that scenario. The only choice was to find a new path with Aries, for perfectly selfish reasons. Mommo raised her head, eyes sparkling, reflecting Aries's visage, mixing the vibrant red with her deep lazy blue. What she was about to say was clear enough without her having to utter a word. "I don't care...about Tempest. I don't care...about numbers." She glanced at Morgan, the girl who defeated her yet was also so kind. But the moment she would've made eye contact with her, she shook her head and focused on the man again. "Aries, I want to...I will come with you, whatever you choose." She took a step forward, turning to face the two other girls as she stood next to Aries. In silence. "..." "..."

Kyou would feel a hand on her shoulder from behind when she called Ranga out. "Oh, I'm here, don't worry, Kyou." She seemed to have snuck up when everyone was focused on Asuka... Of course, Beverly would've seen her, but the rest of the crew wouldn't have. Well either way. "Thanks for coming to get me, Beverly. I think I almost fell asleep there..." She looked down, running her hands through her wet hair. "But I-I'll see what I can do with a rifle!" She turned to Asuka all of a sudden. She wasn't mad at the girl about what'd happened. They were all fighting and this was training. If she didn't show them this now, they were gonna lose in the real world.

UNO'S HOUSE EVERYONE *+Zeta, Uno?* As Radovan continues pressing the button, a ringing sounds keeps resounding from within the house. Nothing happens for a while, but soon enough, the Cadets hear a door opening somewhere behind the gate. Rustling of what sounds like cloth against the ground sneaks beneath Radovan's ringing, moving towards them hurriedly. Music: Utopia "I'm-I'm coming-" A familiar voice reaches them ever so silently and the gates are opened. "Everyone, you're here-!" The woman speaks with a smile, apparently not bothered at all by Radovan's frantic ringing, but it's not the woman you remember. Actually, it is the woman, but she appears...she appears fine. Her body seems strong, her cheeks full and blush, and her hair now cut neatly, like the peel of a tropical fruit. Her thick dress reaches the ground and you wonder how she can remain in such clothing with such heat. "I have been waiting for so long to see you all again. I am very grateful you've accepted my invitation. I've never had friends I could go see the Magikarp Festival together with, so I am truly very thankful."

And with that, the Cadets departed to their home. Many new questions brewed in their minds as they anticipated the Abravators' words. The weight of the frail woman, Uno, weighed down upon them all as they contemplated what would come to pass regarding her fate. Cathode was introduced to the engineering facilities at the HQ. She was given a round through all the sections and machinery and met all the employees there. All of them were nice, so the Vice Prez's punishment was hardly even punishment at all. She was sent home shortly after. --- [Chapter #02 End] ALL Nexus #04 main street Music: Paradise "And that's when I saw 'er. Well, only her silhuette. The lass was dancing in moonlight, through the streets. Yes, it was eerie as you'd expect from a ghost. They say she's a demon who eats people. She wanted to take a bite out of me too, but I-" The man continues the story. He says how he beat the ghost woman down and ran with his life, but you can guess it ain't the truth, so you smile awkwardly and try to walk away slowly. Still, from what you've heard, there've been rumors about this ghost lass circulating around the tropical Nexus lately. You don't really have much thought to spare to this thought, however, as your summer hats rustle in the breeze. Yes, you're on vacation here. In fact, you have been invited to come visit her at her home. Who, you might ask, invited you? Well... --- Several Days Ago --- '1 new message from Unoppiae Tri' [End of Flashback] --- All of you are excited to see Uno again. It's nearly been two weeks since you last saw her and none of you knew what'd happened to her after she was taken away by Betani, nor did you get in contact with Betani either, so you were worried sick. Glad that's over. Uno gave you directions to her home. It seems to be by the beach, so you hurry on. Zeta is extremely ecstating as she runs around the streets of the city and towards the sandy beaches. "It's hot for my feet, haha-!" She giggles, running around you and rolling in the sand like some hyperactive cat. The last two weeks were quite uneventful. Zeta slowly acclimated to living with you all and she even had the Space Aether give Murki back to her. Meggi could stay at your backyard, but couldn't go anywhere else much outside of her new Aether Ball. All in all, it was all good. On the other side, #08's flora and fauna have started blooming again. The Pokemon and the plants have slowly but surely started reclaiming the ecosystem. Soon, however, once the whole crystal forest decrystalises, you know Space Aether will try to build a colony there too. You've secured that chance for a new world, after all. Anyways, you make your way towards the beachside, following Uno's directions around the edge of the isle. As you approached the address, you couldn't believe your eyes. Zeta's jaw dropped as she pointed at it with a huge smile. Seeing a house-no a mansion slowly come into view over a green hill, you're quite awestruck. Was that the home? No one mentioned that. How rich were the girls and why was Betani living in Space Aether housing anyways with such a house!? [You each have a post to make before arriving at the mansion and ringing the bell.]

His face remains expressionless as he continues, only a brow's furrow signaling his mild annoyance that he was gonna be kept there for a while longer. "What basic understanding, you merely jump to conclusions. The Abravator operates outside of Space Aether's jurisdiction, so when they say HQ they don't mean our HQ."

SPACE AETHER CADET HQ #00 RADOVAN, EMMANUEL & CATHODE *+Mason, Zeta* "The HQ are separated into segments. The open laboratory is above the guest area near city level. To enter, you can use your authorization as a Cadet." Mason answers Cathode. "And you, Radovan. Don't worry, the woman will be taken care of. You needn't know what exactly is happening to her, though, nor can I give you persmission to." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SPACE AETHER HQ #00 HALL KALVA *+Ray, Betani* Ray scratched her head at the message. "OH, you must be Kalva. Nice to meet you in person~" She says absentmindedly, but with a big and earnest smile on her face. "Betani, you say? I've not actually seen her pass by..." Ray starts pondering something. However, Kalva might be inclined to assume that she had been too busy with her A-Comm and coffee to pay attention to the outside world. Perhaps asking her wasn't the wisest idea... In the meantime, Kalva notices that the other Employees that were around scattered about doing their businesses. There was no one left who he could ask for directions... "Oh, but I can track her. I dunno if I should though....nyeh, it'll be fine~" The young woman snorts as she begins typing on her A-Comm. After a minute or two of anticipation, she raises her head and furrowed brow. "Ha, found her! No one can hide from me! And lesse, she's.....uh, she's...are ya gonna be mad if I tell you she's exiting the HQ building right about now? Eheh, sorry, you must've missed her." Ray shrugs. He joins his hands together into a hospitable clasp, but it's apparent he's lying.

Ranga didn't exit the plug. She remained inside, curled up, thankful that it wasn't hurting anymore. At that point, she felt the relief one feels when they're in their bed, their room, their safe haven. That's what the plug was for her. She couldn't remember had she ever felt this way as a kid. It was a strange feeling, one that did not evoke the image of a soft mattress in Ranga's mind, but one of her family all stacked together, hugging on the floor, or the hard ground. Whatever they could put a blanket over and call it a bed. It was how things used to be on Earth. They changed when they started working on the big spaceship. And they changed even more now after a hundred years. What would be the next haven for her? Alma's presence? Or the group? Neither of the two really filled the role just yet. Sure, she felt safe with Alma, but the woman was still distanced a bit from her. Not someone whose belly she could rub her face into just yet. Thoughts of Asuka's kick were far removed from her mind. She wasn't focused on that. She would remain in the plug until someone went to collect her.
