[Sena and Emmanuel have left the scene] #04 TOWN - FESTIVAL NIGHT RADOVAN & CATHODE *+Chief, Rubia, Zeta, Leader* Sena and Emmanuel each rush their own way while Radovan goes to check on the Chief. On the other side of the rubble that was a staircase up the island hill just moments ago, he finds Rubia and Zeta kneeling over Chief. Zeta and Rubia turn their heads toward Radovan and Zeta runs up to him. "Radovan, have you neutralized the threat?" Rubia interrupts as Zeta hugs him. Radovan hears a grunt coming from the Chief as he pushes himself up with one arm. The other arm flails limply by his side, bloodied and bruised. It looks to be crushed almost completely. "Go to the town to report to any active Space Aether officials you can find. Take the girl with you, she'll be taken into custody." He says, standing up. "Radovan, where are the others?" Zeta calls out to him suddenly. "And the ghost lady?" Sudden exhaustion washes over Radovan and Cathode... They fall to the ground unconcious. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- #04 OLD AQUARIUM SENA *+Frogadier* Sena runs up to the Aquarium. The pain in his burned cheeks and nose has been growing more unbearable with each step he takes, but he manages to get to the Old Aquarium. There, he finds the Frogadier laying on the ground, with visible burn marks on its head and limbs. It's barely conscious and looks towards him as he approaches, but it cannot stand up. Exhaustion washes over Sena... He falls to the ground next to Frogadier, unconsious. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- #04 TOWN - FESTIVAL NIGHT EMMANUEL Emmanuel rushes over to an active Space Aether station where he can heal his Pokemon. The crowd gathered in the town seems to have developed into a sort of dazed mob, probably from the drinks and from the lightshow that had been visible from the Aquarium and the hill, a lightshow Emmanuel took part in. "The Ghost Girl, it was the Ghost Girl!" "She's going to take us all!" "I shouldn't have come here for the festival, I'm leaving tomorrow-" He hears the people around him, but ultimately safely reaches the Station. Exhaustion washes over him... ...and he falls asleep at a chair at the Station, waiting for Poochy to be taken care of. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #04 TOWN - UNO'S RESIDENCE Cathode, Emmanuel, Radovan and Sena wake up. Cathode wakes up in the women's chambers while the boys wake up in the room prepared to them by Uno when they arrived. "Good morning, Cathode." A smile greets her as she wakes. It's Zeta, kneeling cross-legged by the futon. "Uno taught me how to sit like this! It's a tra- tradition here." She says in a happy and proud voice. Next to Zeta, Cathode's daily clothes and belongings are neatly placed. She can take them if she wishes and descend down into the living rooms and the kitchen with Zeta. She feels like she's starving! The boys wake up with their belongings next to their futons. They also feel very hungry. However, in Sena's case, his A-Comm is missing. The only things next to his futon are his one Aether Ball and his daily clothes. There's no sign of the Frogadier. The clock on the A-Comm tells you all it's 14:30, or 2:30 pm. You seem to have overslept by a mile! You can't even remember the last time you slept this much, but you feel reinvigorated. Why you all fell unconcious is still a mystery though. Might just have been from the fighting, but it was still strange. [Everyone descends into the kitchen.] --- "Good morning." Uno greets you in an apron. A wafting smell of home-cooking reaches your noses, salivating your mouths. You notice Uno's apron to be quite dirty from fresh food stains, but more importantly, she seems as fit as ever! "I tried cooking, but I just couldn't do it, so I arranged for some help.." "Oh shut it." "Hey guys!" Two head peek in from the kitchen-Betani and Jenny. They seem to be busy preparing the food. "This is the last time I do something like this for you, are we clear?" Betani points a spatula at Uno, a slight blush on her face, and Uno just smiles. "I am truly grateful. Without these two, I don't know what I would've done!" She says. Zeta observes them with a smile on her face. But the only thing on your mind is still food. --- [Lunchtime] --- You're dining, sitting on soft pillows around a really short table. The food is very good, a testament to either Betani's or Jenny's proficiency? Maybe both? Do you dare ask? Either way, lunchtime is as good a time as any to demand some answers. [What will you ask?]

#04 TOWN - FESTIVAL NIGHT EMMANUEL, RADOVAN, CATHODE & SENA *+Chief, Rubia, Zeta, Ghost Girl?, Leader* :::RESOLUTION::: Emmanuel and Poochy wasted no second to continue the assault on the Ghost Girl. With Emmanuel's quick thinking, Poochy, thrown at the Ghost Girl, managed to act before the Ghost Girl could react, once again biting hard into her torso. Poochy's Bite (6963 Atk Value) on Ghost Girl No miss Crit: 14 no crit Flinch: 11 FLINCH The Ghost Girl takes 145 damage! The Ghost Girl has flinched! The Ghost Girl screams and trashes as the intense pain cuts through her body. She's too shocked to act, giving the others a chance to continue beating down on her. Verna starts blowing the sand at the Ghost Girl with her Gust attack. However, the winds blown up would also strike Poochy. Verna's Gust (4172 SpA Value) on Ghost Girl and Poochy Sandstorm combo - the attack with reduce the targets' Accuracy (30% chance) No miss Crit: 19 no crit Accuracy drop (Ghost Girl): 40 no accuracy drop Accuracy drop (Poochy): 91 no accuracy drop The Ghost Girl takes 22 damage! Poochy takes 126 damage! Poochy has fainted! Verna's Gust creates a small tornado blowing sand at the Ghost Girl. However, as the Sandstorm rages, the winds hit Poochy as well, blowing her off the Ghost Girl's body and unconcious on the ground next to her. Next, Larvitar jumps up and Screeches at the Ghost Girl. Larvitar's Screech on Ghost Girl Miss: 59 no miss Ghost Girl's Defense harshly fell! Suzie wouldn't have to roar at Poochy as the unlucky pupper had already been blown away from the Ghost Girl's body by Verna's attack. She'd be able to cover the Ghost Girl with rocks without a hitch. Suzie's Rock Tomb (9153 Atk Value) on Ghost Girl Miss: 21 no miss Crit: 27 no crit The Ghost Girl takes 381 damage! The Ghost Girl has fainted! With the rocks tumbling down upon her, the Ghost Girl can only hopelessly watch as she's crushed by them. Emmanuel, Radovan, Cathode and Sena all see a bright red light flash from underneath the rocks as they thumble down to the ground, as if the Ghost Girl's body has simply vanished from under them. Moving the rocks would reveal what appears to be a bright red, translucent looking Shard. :::COMBAT RESOLVED::: Verna has gained 140 Exp! Larvitar has gained 140 Exp! Suzie has gained 140 Exp! Poochy has gained 70 Exp! Sableye has gained 50 Exp! Sena has gained 55 EP! Radovan has gained 45 EP! Cathode has gained 55 EP! Emmanuel has gained 45 EP! The party received Ruby Shard! Sena has gained 5 EP for failing to run away from the Ghost Girl. ----------------------------------------------------------- Zeta and Rubia aren't coming your way. You should probably check out whether they're with Chief on the other side of the crumbled stairway. Leader in unconcious and is gonna have a lot of explaining to do once you get her somewhere safe and tend to her wounds. It'll be up to Sena to reveal how much, or how little, he's pieced together about her from their short-lived interaction.

#04 TOWN - FESTIVAL NIGHT EMMANUEL, RADOVAN, CATHODE & SENA *+Chief, Rubia, Zeta, Ghost Girl?, Leader* :::RESOLUTION::: Suzie's Curse Suzie's Attack and Defense rose! Suzie's Speed fell! Turn order has changed! As the Ghost Girl leaps to attack the Chief, Sena starts squirming, successfully calling Verna out. The little bat Pokemon is squeezed between Sena and the Ghost Girl so when she Screeches, Sena would have to cover his ears lest he risk suffering temporary hearing impairment as a result of the attack's proximity. Verna's Screech: 89 - no effect However, Verna is unable to let out a sound fast enough, as the Ghost Girl is moving too fast. Verna is thus pushed into the Ghost Girl's body, unable to properly execute the Screech. However, as the Ghost Girl's distracted and only moving in a straight line towards the Chief, she doesn't manage to react to Poochy jumping at her from the side in time. Poochy's Bite (6963 Atk Value) on Ghost Girl No miss Crit: 86 no crit Flinch: 93 no flinch The Ghost Girl takes 145 damage! "AAARGH-!" The Ghost Girl yelps in pain as Poochy bites hard into the side of her torso, pushing her attack trajectory slightly towards the side. The Chief grits his teeth and braces his arm for impact with her leg. A cracking sound is heard as he uses the arm to push himself against the attack and to the side, as suddenly a Sandstorm starts brewing over the entire battlefield, impairing everyone's vision. The Chief falls off the stairs and into the forest around you, as the Ghost Girl falls over the other side of the stairs, also into the forest. The Sandstorm is raging! The Ghost Girl takes ??? damage. Poochy takes 5 damage. Verna takes 5 damage. Ghost Girl's Fountain of Life activates! The Ghost Girl recovers ??? HP. Ghost Girl? Sena finds himself laying next to the Ghost Girl, with Verna flying next to him and Leader unconscious on the other side of the monstrous woman. Poochy is next to Leader and closer to the stairs and the rest of the party. The Sanstorm makes it difficult to make out more than the silhuettes of his friends up on the crumbling stairs, destroyed by Suzie's Rock Tombs. The Ghost Girl grunts painfully on the ground as a wave of warmth washes over her, easing up some of her injuries. Sena has a moment to escape from the Ghost Girl, but there's no way for him to pick Leader's unconscious body up and escape fast enough. If he wants to escape, he's gonna have to leave Leader behind. What will Sena do? 1. Escape and rejoin the party? 2. Stay with Leader to protect her? The Ghost Girl seems to be recuperating from her crash landing and failed attack, also being attacked successfully by Poochy. The rest of the party can either go check what happened to the Chief, since he most likely requires medical attention, or continue fighting the Ghost Girl. Splitting up is also an option, so several people can go check Chief out while the others attack the Ghost Girl. Among Cathode, Emmanuel and Radovan, what will each of them decide to do? 1. Assess the Chief's condition? 2. Continue fighting the Ghost Girl and rescue Sena?

#04 Mountain Path SENA *+Ghost Girl* Sena can feel the Ghost Girl shifting as he spoke to her. "Foolish boy, she is the one I spoke of." ------------------------------------------------------ #04 TOWN - FESTIVAL NIGHT EMMANUEL, RADOVAN & CATHODE *+Chief, Rubia, Zeta* :::COMBAT PHASE CONTINUES::: The thundershock connected with Radovan's Sableye as the girl frowned. "Huuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhh, you didn't even try to dodge! Are you mocking me!?" Motor's Thunder Shock on Sableye (??? SpA Value vs 96 SpD Value) Sableye takes ??? damage Without the feedback from the A-Comm, Radovan cannot determine how hard the attack hit Sableye. However, the Sableye doesn't seem to stagger too much. It most likely didn't do a great deal of damage nor did it manage to Paralyze. The girl grows quiet as you start talking among yourselves, listening intently. Her lips seem to quiver into a slight frown as Cathode presents her case. "N-no you're totally wrong, my Motor is just invincible and you're so weak!" She starts stepping in place nervously as you come to the conclusion that you should target the A-Comm instead of Motor itself. She holds it tight and turns away from you with her A-Comm in her arms, as Motor grins nervously. "N-no you're gonna have to go through me to get to my A-Comm! And you-" She addresses Emm. "You were the only good one, but now you're against me as well? Gyah get that Sableye away from meee!" Suzie's Rock Tomb strikes the spot where Motor is , once again raising dust. Sableye flings itself into the dust and tries to slice at where the girl's holding her A-Comm. You hear a scream but it's suddenly muffled by the sound of total destruction quickly approaching from the mountain you were climbing on. Trees being crushes, soil rumbling as if a landslide is approaching... Yet all you see is a blue flash jumping out of the woods to land directly where the girl had been standing just moments ago. Sableye is shot out of the dust cloud and smashes into Radovan's face, launching both of them off their feet, as the staircase rumbles down from the force of the impact. The Sableye is knocked out cold. Everything is silent for a moment... But as the dust settles down, you see a new figure's silhuette before you. She is tall, her clothes and hair blue, same as Uno's, and she holds... "Sena!" Zeta notes before any of you can react. Her keen senses allowed her to make out Sena's features through the dust before you could. She seems to want to run over to him, but the Chief puts a hand before her, stopping her. "It's not just Sena." Music: Faced by Desire "Chieftain." A voice speaks from beyond the dust. It is familiar but lacks the softness Uno's voice carries. It's powerful unlike hers and much more determined. "I will never forgive you or my father for what you took from Uno!" You hear the sound of concrete crumbling as a figure shoots out of the dust, aiming at the Chief. Her leg is veiled in water as she attempts to strike down at the Chief, who assumes a defensive posture, most likely a martial arts of some sort. You doubt it will serve him any good against this attack, however. What else you note is that the figure is holding two people, not just Sena. The other is the girl you just fought. She appears unconcious and her arm has been cut. Sena appears to have several burns on his face and arms/hands. Targetting the presumed Ghost Girl would mean risking targetting both Sena and the girl by accident. There's no sign of Motor and your A-Comms are functional again, marking the Ghost Girl as a Water type and her attack as Aqua Tail. It is quite powerful. #04 OLD AQUARIUM SENA *+Ghost Girl, Frogadier* ::: COMBAT CONTINUES ::: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frogadiers nods in reply to Sena's command and readies itself, glancing to each side, back against Sena's to cover as much area as possible. "FOOL!" The Ghost Girl's voice echoes with passionate rage. "Face the earth's rage! Scorching the past is the first step to the beginning of a revolution!" The quaking becomes louder and the heat grows to an unbearable level for Sena. The spikes crack open all around the two of them and fire begins spewing out of them like tongues. Frogadier, noticing this, quickly performs a backflip, releasing a stream of bubbles all around Sena and himself. The fire clashes with the bubbles, destroying them and creating an incredibly hot steam. The scorching heat burns Sena's skin on his hands and face as he's barely able to take the searing pain without outright fainting, while Frogadier seems equally as affected, dropping out of the backflip on its knees, seemingly barely holding on as well. Sena closes his eyes on instinct. As the steam settles, Sena feels an arm grab around his waist and press his hurting body against a woman's torso and chest, presumably the Ghost Girl's. Somehow, being pressed against her warm body eases Sena's pain a little. The woman holds Sena too tight for him to be able to break free as she continues running. Now that he's being carried by her, Sena can determine that her body is perfectly still and grounded as her feet break through the concrete below them. She's truly a juggernaut. "Foolish boy, you've forced me to inflict unnecessary harm upon you. However, we must all carry our scars with pride, let them represent the destruction of our weaker past selves. You and I have more in common than you think. That is why I shall take you with me and let you serve as a basis for a new tradition." She says as she extends an arm, smashing through the outer wall of the aquarium with full force and launching herself into the air from the island's top, starting to fall swiftly downwards. The cold night air cuts through Sena's burn wounds as the two of them keep falling. Sena might feel as if he's about the die upon impact, together with the Ghost Girl, however, her feet lock with the ground under them, smashing through as her posture remains unaltered. Crushing stones and land, she slides down the mountain and towards the path Sena and Leader climbed from, at speeds comparable to an extreme alpine skiier. "I must collect your friend as well before returning. She's waiting for me with open arms."

#04 OLD AQUARIUM SENA *+Ghost Girl, Frogadier* ::: COMBAT CONTINUES ::: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frogadier seems wary but still nods at Sena's proposal. As Sena and his two Pokemon prepare to counter, they're caught off guard by a series of spikes suddenly bursting around them from the ground. The spikes extend twice as tall as Sena, wrecking any rubble and concrete in their way. Frogadier releases the same burst of water from its mouth like last time but it merely splits against the spikes, unable to break them up. This all results in Sena and the two Pokemon losing their footing. Well, Verna doesn't lose her footing, but as she Tackles against the spikes, she finds them too sturdy for her to damage on her own, recoiling in pain as she hit them. Unfortunately, Frogadier had done the wrong move. The Ghost Girl runs closer to Sena, catching up. There's at least a dozen spikes all around Sena at multiple angles and in multiple directions as if some dirt forest or a cavern had burst around him. "You are hardly a match for my power." The Ghost Girl says as she closes in on Sena. Around Sena, the spikes start vibrating as if something is about to burst out of them. The rocks crash down on the unassuming Rotom, raising dust from the ground around it while Sableye swoops in to slice at the poor ghost-type. You're absolutely positive both attacks hit. "MOTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" A scream is heard from the dust cloud and, for a moment, a sense of victory washes over the party. However... "Just kidding!" The dust cloud settles down to reveal both the girl and the Rotom intact. The staircase leading up was rummaged on one side by Suzie's Rock Tomb but otherwise, no apparent sings of either of their attacks connecting could be seen. "You cheaty cheaters trying to catch me off guard while I so politely allowed you a moment of mercy to choose your Pokemon before offing you!" She looks at Emmanuel next. "You, you're the only half-decent one, but still only half since you're trying to get between a little girl and her mom! I'll have you know I'll keep Sena safe so you don't have to interfere and ruin everything for me!" Her voice grows more determined as she steps back, pulling out her A-Comm as Rotom went into battle mode between her and you. "Motor, let's show them what we've got! Use......uhm......w-which one won't reveal my trick again..... a-akh just use Thunder Shock on the ghost!" Rotom nods before a small burst of lightning strikes from the sky, aimed at Sableye, who was closer to Rotom than any of the other of the party's Pokemon. Motor's Thunder Shock (???? #04 OLD AQUARIUM SENA *+Ghost Girl, Frogadier* ::: COMBAT CONTINUES ::: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frogadier shifts its head to look at Sena before nodding. Turning around completely to halt for a moment, Frogadier takes a deep breath before releasing a pulsating blast of water from its mouth. Verna's winds and the blast converge against the Ghost Girl's watery orbs, bursting most of them into thin air while throwing the rest off course. The Ghost Girl glares at Sena and Frogadier as Frogadier continues running once more, taking the lead in front of Sena. "You still intend to get in my way? Fine." She continues running, her every step breaking the concrete. As she does, Sena starts feeling tremors beneath himself, as if the ground was starting to shake. Uno says nonschalantly with a calm smile on her face. "Yes, Emmanuel was merely investigating my glowing leg. I was so tired I hadn't even noticed, but he was kind to point it out to me." She nods, sitting up in her futon. She turns to Emmanuel with a more serious expression. "It's never glowed before though...but you have more pressing matters now. Go, if Sena is in danger you must go assist him." Uno seems determined you leave and find Sena. Despite the glowing she doesn't seem to be in any danger, so maybe you should leave. "I'll keep an eye if it starts glowing again." She adds as you leave the room and turn the lights in it off. ------------------------------------------------------------------ #04 TOWN - FESTIVAL NIGHT EMMANUEL, RADOVAN & CATHODE *+Chief, Rubia, Zeta* The streets of #04 are bustling with life as the festival night is on. There is singing, dancing, drinking, and all around enjoyement in the air. The background noise of people's chatter follows you as cold night breeze ruffles your hair. You make your way through the crowd pretty much literally using the Chief. He waves at the people who simply open up a path to you. Seems there's also other Cadets working to get the crowd under control because of potential danger. "The people of #04 are stubborn and overconfident. They don't fear danger. It's been that way since forever." Rubia says in her monotone. Her slight frown seems to indicate she's at least somewhat dissatisfied though, albeit bemusedly so. "Thank you people, have fun at the festival, we'll handle the danger!" The Chief's voice rallies the crowd to continue the party. "Chief, you're not helping." The Chief shrugs. Finally, you reach the area beyond the downtown center. The festival is still in full swing despite the danger warning. However, there're no people where you are. It's the are with the houses and shrines, starting the ascension towards the center of the island-the aquarium hill. You feel you can finally start moving at a decent pace, when suddenly a voice reaches you from the steps above, and a small girl stands against the moonlight, her silhuette casting a shadow in your path. She is 10m away from you, at a slight upwards slope at a higher ground from where you stand. She's in your way. "The energy reading is the Ghost Girl, right? Isn't it?" She smiles, seemingly overjoyed, her hands excitedly on her chest. Despite her demeanor, you sense animosity from her. "Your presence here confirms it! OH SENA YOU BEAUTIFUL DEVIL YOU DID IT! But that's why I can't let you pass. I won't let you get in the way of my reunion with my mom. I just won't." "Motor, let's defeat them here and now." The girl readies a combat pose, pulling out her A-Comm and holding it in her hand, extended towards you. Electricity surges from the small device as what appears to be a Pokemon zaps out of it. The Chief stops and frowns. "So that's where the Academy's Rotom went." He pulls his A-Comm out and seems to ready himself for combat but Rubia grabs his arm. "Chief, you cannot use your Gyarados near a populated area. There's too much danger." "Tsk, then you guys are gonna have to handle this." "Whew, Motor! We don't have to fight Chief!" The girl once again seems ecstatic. "We woulda lost for sure against him. But we can handle you small fry!" She looks at you. As you attempt to scan her Pokemon, Rotom, your A-Comms only turn up a serious of incoherent numbers. /ERROR/ You seem to be unable to read its data for one reason or another. Seeing this, the girl giggles. "Our plan is working! Your jamming is amazing, Motor!" COMBAT START Choose your Pokemon

#04 OLD AQUARIUM SENA *+???, ???* ::: COMBAT CONTINUES ::: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Verna's Gust (??? Power) Crit (???): ??? Verna's Gust attack hit the Ghost Girl as she slammed her foot deep into the ground. The splashing energy was focused purely downward, causing water to burst the ground open from the powerful pressure. Verna's Gust doesn't seem to have affected the attack's intensity at all, so the conclusion would be that the Ghost Girl was using a physical move. Ghost Girl takes ??? damage from Gust. Ghost Girl's HP is now ??? However, while Verna was safe in the air, Sena would find himself in an unfavourable position as the cement erupted from beneath his feet. He'd moved away from the kick but he was still well within the strike zone. The Ghost Girl turned her head up to face the boy as he felt the ground beneath him start to give in and push him helplessly onto his back, when he felt something sweep him from behind at a blazing speed, pulling him from his right and to his left and away from the attack. Sena would see the erupting ground from the distance as whatever had grabbed him took him further and further away from the Ghost Girl. It was a Frogadier. However, Sena would see the Ghost Girl push herself with the grounded foot and start her pursuit of them anew. With every step she takes towards them, the ground shakes slightly. "Pathetic fool of a Pokemon. I shall drown you first then." She says as she brings her arms together at her chest, moving them along her body in a dancing motion, as if spreading wings as she ran after them, matching Frogadier's speed. Waves began to gather in a circle in the air around her arms as she danced with them, and when she spread her arms like wings, the waves released towards Sena in a sort of scattershot explosion of a barrage of small blue watery orbs. "G-glowing?" She asks confusedly. Pushing herself back up in a sitting position, she shifts around momentarily before pushing the sheets off of her body in a heavy motion. And indeed, under her garments, there seems to be something glowing bright marine blue, on the upper part of her right leg. "O-oh my." The glow irradiates her face and Emmanuel can see it's not as drained as it was when they first met Uno. The glow fades after a couple of seconds, casting the room in darkness again. Jenny looks at both Radovan and Cathode before sitting back down. She doesn't seem content with that situation though. --- After a couple of moments, Rubia runs back to the group. Music: Spring to Action "Chief, I've contacted the HQ and received information of a sudden high-energy water type signature being spotted here in #04. It must be the target." She says, still holding her A-Comm to her ear. "Yes yes, officer Ray, the Chief is prepped and ready. We'll mobilize immediately." The Chief nods calmly and stands up, looking at Rubia. "It must be the Aquarium, right?" He says, at which she nods. "Of course you would already be aware of as much. You're not the Chief for nothing, Chief." "You flatter me too much." He remarks with a straight face, unamused. "Jenny, seems like you'll make yourself useful after all. Keep watch on Uno with the doctor. And the rest of you, go get Emmanuel and follow Rubia and me. That's an order." ----------------------------------------------------------------

#04 UNO'S MANSION - WOMEN'S BEDROOM EMMANUEL *+Uno* Uno is silent from a moment, watching Emmanuel sit down. Her body seems frailer than earlier today in the light of the moon. "I suppose you could call it medicine." She answers with a smile and a soft laugh. It doesn't seem to bother her that much. "Father said it must be from back when we first met, all your friends and I... You remember I sought the Tree of Life for my selfish purposes, right? When that attack hit me...it gave me what I always wanted-my old body back. But only during the day.." Uno coughs a couple of times. "Sorry, I got a bit out of breath from talking..." She adds calmly. A few moments of silence drag on between you two. "I used to be a dancer when I was young. But the strength in my legs was taken from me by a terrible accident. They said I'd never dance again and I...I was the one who brought it onto everyone and I lost so much too...so I let my body rot away like you saw me firs- o-oh.." Her head drops as if her neck suddenly snapped, silently. She holds a hand to her forehead as Emm notices a faint blue glow coming from underneath her futon sheets, somewhere around her legs. She lays back down and goes silent as the only sound permeating the room becomes her shallow breathing. Going from the assumption Uno is a native Wailudan citizen, Emmanuel could research the accidents that took place in the past there. Additionally, peeking under her futon sheets was an option to investigate the glow. Emmanuel cannot see it anymore but that's because she covered herself up again. Third option would be going to her room. It might hold some secrets to her past. [What will you do?]

#04 OLD AQUARIUM SENA *+???, ???* Verna flew to half a meter in front of Sena and between him and the Ghost Girl, releasing a soundwave at the Ghost Girl. ::: COMBAT INITIATED ::: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Rules for combat without an A-Comm] Music: Foundαtion of Trαdition Verna's Supersonic (55): ??? ??? The sound resonates through the empty chamber but disperses around the Ghost Girl, apparently having no effect on her. Sena couldn't be sure, but she shows no signs of confusion. However, now that Sena's provoked her, she stops waving the fan in her slow dance, instead pointing it at the boy. "So you choose to dance with me here? Fine. I will take you by force." All of a sudden, the ground beneath her left foot crumbles down as if pushed by some immense force, as she braces to move. Throwing the fan behind her in a trained and melodious motion, she lunges herself forward at Sena, doing a frontflip as her left leg is enveloped in a watery aura, coupled with the sounds of the crashing waves. This seems to be the focal point of her attack. Ghost Girl's ??? (??? Power/??? Accuracy): ??? ??? Something rustles from the forest behind Sena, but it's too far away to help him out against this attack. He will have to handle it himself... The attack is frontal and is connected to her frontflip motion, meaning it strikes towards Sena in a straight line, without any signs of being maneouverable to the sides. The easiest solutions for Sena would be to move away to either side except the front unless he feels confident enough that he can duck under her jump safely, which, at the close range they're at, wouldn't really look plausible. Left, right or to the back. If Sena can trust the rustling from the forest is a sign of help, then moving to the back might be the safest option. Also, Sena wouldn't be able to 100% guess what kind of splashing area of effect the Ghost Girl's attack could have. He can assume what kind of attack it is and what kind of range it'd have upon impact, but he cannot be sure without an A-Comm. [Will you trust the rustling from the forest?] ----------------------------------------------------- #04 UNO'S MANSION - WOMEN'S BEDROOM EMMANUEL *+Uno* There's a momentary delay before Emmanuel hears an answer from the other side of the door. "Please. The door has no lock." Upon entering the unlit room, most Emmanuel can see is whatever the moonlight from the window is being cast upon. Uno's figure is sitting up in her futon to greet him. She seems to be slightly better than when this all began. "Emmanuel, did you come see how I feel?" She asks softly, with a smile. "Please do not worry, these are just...symptoms of my treatment. I will be better by tomorrow. I always get better by tomorrow..."

#04 UNO'S MANSION RADOVAN, EMMANUEL & CATHODE *+Uno, Jenny, Chief, Rubia, Zeta, a doctor* Music: Utopia "I see, that is indeed unfortunate." Rubia says as she scribbles something down. The pages in her notebook seem to be digital, reacting to where she presses her finger to write. However, she doesn't let you peek in no matter what if you decide to try doing that. After Emmanuel speaks his mind about what Zeta brought up, Rubia frowns but retains her calm tone. "Yes, you should go cool your head. We don't need such irrational outbursts from you right now. Prematurely assuming your friend was kidnapped would do us no good." She turns to Radovan. "That seems like a plausible option. Excuse me for a minute." She takes her A-Comm and walks away to dial someone. [Emm and Rubia have left the scene] Jenny glances up at Cathode and smiles. It's a forced smile. If anything, it looks like she'd much rather cry. "I just can't keep anyone safe. I totally panicked when your friend there started feeling woozy..." She says as her voice quivers. Regarding the Chief, the moment Radovan glances his way, the man's eyes are focused on the boy's, unreadable but apparent that there is knowledge they are hiding. "..." "Radovan..." Zeta turns to him, looking at him for a moment before nodding. "We've gotta be here for Uno, you're right!" After another nod, the young girl seems fired up to stay here. However, Jenny perks up momentarily, nearly standing up in her seat. "I-I can watch her if you want to go search for your friend. It's a festival night so he might get lost in the crowd or something. I'm sure he's scared. S-so I'll stay here and we can call the doctor to stay here too! You can do that, right C-chief?" The Chief nods. [What do you decide?] --------------------------------------------- #04 UNO'S MANSION - WOMEN'S BEDROOM EMMANUEL *+Uno* Music: Utopia The open hallway leading to Uno's and the girls' room is unlit. You've decided not to light it so as to not bother Uno if she's feeling unwell. The wooden door's knocking initially brings up no response, but after a couple of seconds, Emmanuel can hear the ruffling of bedsheets, that is, the futon. You recall Uno and everyone else was set to sleep on the floor in old-fashioned futons during this vacation. "Who is it?" Uno's voice is weak and frail, reminiscent of how she was when they first met back in #08.

#04 TOWN EMMANUEL *+Space Aether Cadets x2* "Gotcha." "Yupyup! We're gonna help." The duo looks at each other and nods. They then follow Emm back to where Uno is. ----------------------------------------------- #04 RISTORANTE RADOVAN *+Zeta; Rubia; Chief* "Someone's in trouble!?" The Chief jumps up, slamming the rest of his steak down into the table so that it almost jumped up from the force. Everyone at the table was sent flying up in their seats. "Let's go, Rubia, Zeta!" "Roger, Chief. I'll be contacting a local doctor, they should await us at the residence." Zeta tries to says something but her mouth is full of Gyara-steak she's still trying to rip apart. The Chief, Rubia and Zeta follow Radovan to where Uno is. ------------------------------------------------------ [Everyone present except Sena and Leader has joined the scene] #04 TOWN RADOVAN, EMMANUEL & CATHODE *+Uno, Jenny, Cadet Duo, Chief, Rubia, Zeta* "AAAAAaaa guys it's bad!" Jenny screams. Uno has gone completely limp and now Cathode and her were basically trying to keep a very tall saggy sack of potatoes stand upright. Seeing this, the Chief and the two Cadets Emm brought rush in to help them. Rubia approaches Jenny and Cathode, who're now relieved from the Uno-holding duty as the trio holding her has it all in check. Actually, the Chief just takes her in his arms like it's nothing, while the two Cadets are left looking dissatisfied by the side. "Hmm? Would ya wanna hold her instead?" The Chief asks, but they straighten their backs and shake their heads in respect. Anyways, Rubia approaches Jenny and Cathode. "I will need your report. We'll be carrying the woman to her residence. I've already contacted a local doctor. It's festival time but we've managed to agree on a house visit. He'll be waiting for us there. You needn't worry, it was probably just the heat and excitement. Still, tell me all the details as we walk to her house." "Uhhh...I...Aq...Al..." Uno speaks faintly as you walk. "...na...A...ha..." ------------------------------------------------------ #04 UNO'S MANSION RADOVAN, EMMANUEL & CATHODE *+Uno, Jenny, Chief, Rubia, Zeta, a doctor* Music: Utopia The night is slowly descending as you all sit at a table in Uno's mansion. You've carried her to the bedroom she's prepared for herself, Cathode and Zeta. She led you there by pointing her finger. She mumbled that she didn't want to be taken to her own room. She also insisted to be left in the mansion and not taken to a hospital. In the meantime you've gotten rid of the two Cadets. "I-is Uno gonna be ok!?" Zeta's eyes well up with tears. She can't seem to sit still and is holding her coat tightly. "The doctor said he couldn't figure out the cause, but her state seems to be rapidly deteriorating. Her vitals are steadily dropping, yet she doesn't want to be taken to a hospital. She said it was fine. You say she's recently had a miraculous recovery? Do you have any details on which illness she'd been struck with in the past? This could be the cause for this development." Rubia keeps the questions going. She seems to be the most level-headed in the room in such a situation. "..." The Chief is silent. If you make contact with his eyes, you might get an insight into how he views this event. However, if you did that, he would surely notice you. "..." Jenny is silent, but unlike the Chief, her eyes are focused on her lap. More than anything, she seems to be regretful or something. "A-and where's Sena? Cathode, Radovan, Emm we gotta look for Sena!" Zeta says, looking at the Cadets. You've tried calling Sena on his A-Comm, but the call never got through. Something must've happened to him too. [What do you decide to do?] ----------------------------------------------- #04 OLD AQUARIUM SENA *+???, ???* Everything is quiet at the old Aquarium. Sena finds himself unable to reach out to whoever it is that's starting at him, but the stare never once stops. They must be content with simply observing him for now, and while not doing anything was probably gonna be boring until Leader comes back, does he even have much choice to complain? He could hear faint distant sounds of a party in the town. The Festival must be starting. And the Aquarium is silent. However, that silence is about to be broken. "Sena..." A ghastly whisper reaches Sena's ear, like a soft woman's hand carressing his ear. A chill runs down his spine as he realizes the voice is coming from behind him-the stage him and Leader set up. Music: Boundary of Human Desire "Oh Sena. You should tell your friend this is not how you summon a ghost." The voice is familiar, but the woman Sena knows it belongs to never spoke in such a cold manner. Even the words spoken to be alluring only manage to feel cold and distant, as if this woman was indifferent to the world. But...this isn't her, right? It couldn't be. Or...could it? |THE GHOST GIRL HAS JOINED THE SCENE| She stands tall in the middle of the stage, the moon's rays reflecting upon the glass shards, casting light upon her soft curves. Her dress is a traditional one, but it leaves her left leg bare right up to where it connects to her bussom. Her face is obstructed by a veil, but Sena can recognize it. She stares him down, a much different stare than that of the mysterious observer, this Ghost Girl, standing only on her left foot. Upon its bare skin, a little ways above the knee, is an imprinted gem-like form, shining red in constrast to her deep marine blue dress. "I regret not having come while your friend was here too. I wanted to take both of you with me, after all. But my link to this world only now went to her slumber, allowing for my awakening. Nevertheless, I shall take you now and locate her in the town." She first stares at Sena, but upon realizing there was another observer at the scene, she looks towards the woods, above Sena. "You are here again as well? Have you not already learned you cannot stop me, after all these nights? How stubborn. I cannot promise your life will be spared if you engage me in my dance again." Sena hasn't noticed it before, but the Ghost Girl follows each single of her words with the flick of her fan, like a very basic form of dance. A dance theatre, if you will. It looks dramatic, but lacks any heart in it. She's not dancing for herself-is what comes to Sena's mind. "Sena, I implore you come with me willingly, lest I will be forced to take you by force. You needn't be afraid, we will be dancing deep within the entrails of this world with many others such as ourselves, stripped of all joy by a single unfortunate incident. Come join us all, drown with us all. Dance with me, Sena."

#04 TOWN EMMANUEL *+Space Aether Cadets x2* "Die?" "Yupyup, he said die." The two Cadets look at each other with a befuddled expression. They turn away from Emm and start whispering something unintelligible. After a few moments, they nod to one another and turn back to Emm. "Is it that big chested lady?" "Yupyup, that local one?" -----------------------------------------------------

#04 TOWN - HOUSE SENA *+???* Leader nods to Sena. "I knew you'd push through! Dolly, Motor and I will do our best to lure the ghost here!" She says perkily and runs off in an excited hurry. However, before leaving the aquarium premises, Sena can see her turn one last time to gaze up at the broken structure. Her silhuette is framed by the moon's light in this scene, leaving her face in the dark. However, Sena is certain he saw a glint of light in her eyes, as if they'd teared up. [Leader has left the scene] ----- Sena, alone now, tries to call out to the pair of eyes gazing at him so relentlessly. However, nothing responds to him. The place is dead silent. Obviously the sense of safety isn't enough to draw it out. The question is whether whoever this is even felt unsafe at any moment. In other words, Sena accomplished nothing by reassuring it. [What could it want from Sena?] --------------------------------------------------------- Emm runs in panic(1,2): 2 #04 TOWN EMMANUEL *+Space Aether Cadets x2* Much to Emmanuel's dismay, as he rushes, he does not run into the trio of Cadets he'd hoped to run into. Nono, the ones he runs into aren't those three at all. Music: Ne'er do 'ell The sound of teeth tearing through baloney, ripping it out of the sandwich that was probably all meat no salad, is the first thing that alerts Emmanuel something is wrong. Even though he still can't see any Cadets, his gut tells him to run, but it's already too late. At the corner, the young lad bumps into a certain duo. "Oh." "Yupyup, oh." The two Cadets from earlier look down at what'd bumped into them looming like two giants over Emmie boy. As their brains slowly stop farting and they realize who they're looking at, the one not eating the sandwich grins. Another bite of the sandwich, an animalistic noise threatening to imprint itself into Emm's memory. "Why look who we got here!" "Yupyup, he's one of those." "Hehe, what was it, callin' for help~? What was it, baby boy can't handle himself~?" "Yupyup, and we thought you were like-" "Right, one of the beeeeeeeeeeeesttttttttt." "Yupyup, guess not, pff." ----------------------------------------------------- #04 TOWN CATHODE *+Uno, Jenny* Jenny made herself useful by letting Uno lean on her but the ice-cream girl's knees are shaking so hard she's barely holding the other's weight.

Zeta (HP: 8; Mana: 6, 4, 5, 2, 3, 5; Enh is worth 4) "W-" The girl's eyes widened as Galiah warped behind her. She had no time to react to the energy beam as it shot her out of her own territory and fully into Kanae's. Zeta's Prt reduces the damage by 2; she takes 2 damage (HP: 8-2=6) She was pushed to her hands and knees. However, as she opened her eyes, she felt a surge of energy going through her body as her tranformation was triggered. "W-what is this form? I shouldn't be able to tranform without any type energy!" She protested initially, and although there was no reply from her familiar, she could feel her influence within herself, stopping her from hesitating to bring destruction to this girl who hunted her for being 'alien' despite her circumstances. "Kanae, stand back!" She said as she stood up and faced Galiah. She held a hand to the gem at her chest. "Starmancy!" The gem reflected an image of a night sky as Zeta closed her eyes. She felt the surge of energy within herself. This tranformation could create energy from within itself, not unlike the Shards which circulated type energy in her world. Zeta uses Mana 2 to cast Starmancy and add +1 to all Mana Dice (Mana: 7, 5, 6, 4, 5; Enh is worth 5)

#04 MOUNTAINS - Aquarium SENA *+Leader* As Sena does nothing about the eyes piercing him, nothing happens. However, the sensation does not stop. Something keeps staring the two of them down as they proceed deeper. "Yup this place is the perfect size for a stage, don't you think?" Leader replies perkily as she looks around. In front of you is a large tank container reaching up to the ceiling. It's dried up, of course, but the size of it is enough to fit a dance performance, hell, even a party in there. Sena recalls it as one of the larger tanks that used to be there, housing a bunch of various marine Pokemon back in the days. In fact, the entire Aquarium seemed to have been built around this one main tank. With the giant hole in the building, enough light shone toward it, even giving it a sort of special, half-lit vibe. Enough to see everything, but also enough to hide some things during a professional performance. It was, for lack of a better word, truly a perfect stage. "Right this should do!" Leader says. However, the tank had broken down from the entrance side, leaving only half of the glass still in one piece. The rest was strewn across the platform of the tank, along with the debris from the building. "Hmm... We've just gotta remove the rubble and clear up a large enough area. I could put Motor to use if we find a construction vehicle somewhere around here, but that'd make a lot of noise and we can't have anyone snooping in on us. Oh well, we're just gonna have to do it by hand. Come on, Sena, help me out!" The two of you get down to business, clearing small rubble and glass by yourselves while using your Pokemon to attend to the larger pieces of debris. It's a painful kind of job, really. The debris is tough to carry around and the glass must be attended to very carefully so as to not cut yourselves on it. As you perform this task, the night slowly falls. Sena can still feel the eyes at the back of his head... "Geez this is really tiring..." Leader sighs as darkness falls over the Nexus. The moonlight coming in from the holes in the building creates an eerie, magical feel around the stage, amplified further by the specks of light reflected against some of the remaining glass shards on the floor. Leader notices this and claps her hands with a wide grin. "This should do it, honestly. The Dancer should be really happy with this kinda spooky atmosphere!" She says, though Sena is sure the main reason for her giving in so easily was out of laziness and tiredness after a whole day of work. Even he feels his bones and muscles hurting. However, the night is only beginning. Now you have to figure out how to lure the ghost. "Sena, one of us has got to go back to town and find a way to lure the ghost here. Do you wanna do it or should I?" Going to town could help Sena reunite with his friends and get in on the action. However, staying behind could prove as an opportunity to try and investigate the mysterious eyes following his every step in this aquarium. Leader never seemed to have noticed someone staring at them. Perhaps indeed these eyes were locked solely on Sena. [Go to town or stay at the aquarium?] --------------------------------------------------------- #04 TOWN EMMANUEL & CATHODE *+Uno, Jenny* "OH gosh Emm you must be feeling awful from the heat, come on over to the shade!" Jenny quickly pulls out a bottle of water from under the stand and hand it to Emm, helping him out to move to beneath the stand's shade. She pulls up her chair and lets him sit on it. From the commotion, she fails to notice Cathode's expression and the young girl's comments simply flow over her head. For the most part. "S-sour it should be bitter. I knew I messed something up! But that's why I tried it out on you guys first! Thanks to your advice, I'll be sure to get it right next time!" She says as she pats Emmanuel and holds he water bottle for him. Uno, on the other hand, certainly took notice of Emm's and Cathode's expressions as she shook her head in disapproval, probably of the ice cream. However, as she shakes her head, she lets out a pained sigh as she loses balance. She holds a hand over her head, grabbing onto the stand to prevent herself from falling over. Her expression is that of pain and her hand is now covering her eyes entirely. "I-I'm not feeling so well..." She says through her grit teeth. "OH gosh OH gosh you too!" Jenny starts panicking. "We should get you somewhere where you can rest, it must be the sun! Guys guys where's her house!?" Someone should probably let Radovan and Zeta know you'll be going to the mansion, but you can also do that over A-Comm. The important thing is Uno's expression grows more and more pained every moment, looking almost as if she could grind her teeth to dust any moment from how hard they're clenched. And her balance is almost nonexistent now. She would most likely need to be carried to the house, in which case, getting Radovan's help would probably be the best option, as neither Emm nor Cathode could really hold her well, even with Jenny's help, with how tall Uno was. And using Suzie was out of the question in town. Cathode would find her Luxury Ball locked and unauthorized for use while in this area. [What do you do?] ----------------------------------------------------- #04 RISTORANTE RADOVAN *+Zeta; Rubia; Chief* "Well it's a delicacy. And it's a custom 'round here to pay tribute to the prey you've hunted by not letting it go to waste." The Chief says. He doesn't seem to mind Radovan not having eaten his share. Rubia doesn't mind either. Zeta keeps trying her best but can't seem to chew hard enough. "The Chief is a famed Gyarados hunter. He's slain many that posed danger to the island over the years, and calmed the rest. We've eaten and shared every single one's meat among ourselves and the inhabitants. The rest of the meat will, thus, be served at the festival later on. You don't have to eat it if you don't want."

Zeta "A-aww, Naether you made them go away!" Zeta protested at the gem on her chest. "Please spare me and focus on the two in front of you." Zeta floated still at Galiah's accusation. She didn't know what the girl spoke of, nor why or how she wasn't human. "T-that's gotta be some mistake!" She reached out to Galiah, floating down and towards the edge of her space, towards Kanae's. "I'm totally human, look!" She pinched her cheek and pulled it around to show how meaty it was, doing it all with a big smile, though a droplet of sweat glimmered on her forehead. "You must be scanning something wrong-uuuh... Galiah?" She'd step into Kanae's space unless interrupted by Galiah, still reaching out to her, despite the blaster.

Zeta As much as she was excited to be meeting all of these girls, Zeta knew she had to do some stuff first and foremost, and so as Bellona asked how to get out of there, the Nexus Girl readily grabbed her A-Comm, a small white apparatus similiar to a flat screen phone with some kind of orb on on of its ends, not dissimiliar to a security camera's bulged lens. "Don't you worry Bellona, I just gotta figure out our coordinates and get the Headquarters to come rescue us! This has got to be a new Nexus, so it's not weird we're lost here. Like, even if we've all died and arrived here, that means we're still alive anyways because else we wouldn't be here~ Besides, I've already seen a Nexus where dead people came to life so this isn't all that special or scary to me anymore!" She flicks her nose up proudly and giggles, like a kid that's already watched their first horror film and were no longer outwardly afraid of seeing more. "Oh please, Zeta it's not gonna happen." The gem at her chest speaks again in a snarky tone, at which Zeta growls back at it before replying. "Then what can we do?" "Fight, of course. All of these girls each posses a crystal that represents their energy somewhere on their person. If we kill them and take them from them, we can build a new world here and fill it with our own rules. Isn't that beautiful? So won't you please fight~" "W-what? But I don't have a crystal. You're just lying." "I've already stored our crystal within your Core's integral field. See girls, if you wanna get out of here, tear this green haired dolt apart and take her crystal, hahahaha!" "..." Zeta doesn't reply. She's more at shock than anything else, but she slowly raises her head to look at the other gathered girls. "I-I don't wanna fight. If we die and we're already dead then we'll really die!"

#04 TOWN - HOUSE SENA *+Leader* "Hmmm." The girl raises an eyebrow at Sena's shudder. "Well whatever I'm the leader, obviously I can project a crowd. W-who do you think I am?" She pouts, looking away with a frown. "We should go check the scene out before we try it out! We have preparations to do, so lessgo!" She grabs Sena by his forearm and starts pulling him up from the chair and towards the back of the house, through a small unlit hall. She pushes the back door open with a creak, and the two exit outside, where they're met with the warm sun they bid farewell to earlier. Seems like not much time has passed since Sena got kidnapped. "Lessgo, this is the best time to go unnoticed in the town because no one's there!" Leaders adds with her usual enthusiasm. Dolly follows you as well. You seem to be somewhere on the outskirts of the town where there are less houses around, and a fair bit of them appears abandoned. Leader, well, leads you through narrow alleys in a turnabout manner. "We absolutely can's risk being eye-detected!" She says. The path leads upwards, but Sena remembers where the acquarium is regardless of that. It's a building up near the peak of the island. Even at this time of day, there should be people there, but not around the old abandoned building that had been badly damaged years ago in the Gyarados attack. "Look at all the shrines up here! The higher we do the more of them there are. This place has such a long tradition, so of course it'd accrue a buncha bad spirits too. The ghost girl is just one of them, not special at all! But you're a detective, you must know all this stuff already." She nods. Soon enough, Sena starts recalling the path. There seems to be a branch. "One leads to the new building." Leader explains. "I mean the new building is still a part of the same complex as the old one, but whatever. This leads to where we have to go." She leads you up the left path. You arrive at what appears to be a dome like structure surrounded by thick foliage no one's bothered to cut down in quite some time. There used to be a path leading towards the entrance, and there used to be an entrance there too, but now it's just barrel soil. The whole left path led you through part of the bushes and trees. Usually, you could see the ocean from such a high point of the island, but the trees obstruct your line of sight. You feel the trees themselves form a dome as well, isolating you from the rest. There seem to be no paths leading to the new building from here, everything had overgrown. Part of the building had crumbled down, and a fence stands in your way. Leader confidently nods to Dolly who forms a small flams in front of herself and uses it to slowly melt down the wiring of the fence. "There, we can pass now." Leader whispers to you and the two of you move inside the premises. And then, you suddenly feel a pair of eyes on your back, watching you intently from any of the shadows the rubble of the building casts. The gaping maw of the building reveals broken down glass containers, wiring sticking out, inviting you in. Sena recalls the day it happened. The scenes of chaos as people ran all over the place. Why these people still keep so many Magikarp despite the frequent threats of Gyarados attacks... [What does Sena do about the eyes he feels looking at him?] --------------------------------------------------------- #04 TOWN EMMANUEL & CATHODE *+Uno, Jenny* The ice cream literally grates against Emmanuel's tongue, like a million tiny ice shards piercing him, which was probably accurate. The coldness and the hardness of the treat doesn't allow for much flavor to go through, and what goes through flows over his tongue, melding in different flavors as it passed down his throat. It starts sweet, but soon turns sour like a black coffee, then it somehow turns spicy, and the spiciness goes down his throat, lingering painfully in his mouth. Cathode experiences much of the same, though she tries biting a part off. It comes off, but only after struggling so long that her teeth started hurting from the cold. "Whaddaya say, pretty great, right?" Jenny asks excitedly. [Failure after failure, how do you plan on responding to this one?] ----------------------------------------------------- #04 RISTORANTE RADOVAN *+Zeta; Rubia; Chief* "Ooooooh, a long vacation? How long are vacations usually?" Zeta asks curiously. "Well by our predictions the egg has been incubating for a while in your and our care these past fourteen days since you've returned from #08, so it won't take much longer taking into account that we're more than prepared to handle hatching some eggs. It should take a couple of days at worst, so don't expect to be allowed to stay here for much longer than a week." Rubia answers coldly. "As a Cadet and a Nexus Girl, you must be use to working hard with few breaks in between!" The Chief adds. "But for now, our meal has arrived." A waiter brings a large silver plate with a bunch of carvings of what appears to be something serpentine on it. The outer skin is slightly charred and blue, while the meat inside is a yellow, sandy hue. It doesn't smell like much, and there's only a portion of the Gyarados's body on the plate, obviously, since the entire thing would be impossible to eat by you few. You receive plates but no utensils. "Forks and knives are useless with this." Rubia states. "So just bite into it like the Chief does." Looking at the chief, yup he's already taken a carving and started biting into it. The chewy meat won't let loose though. "Perserverance is the most important. Waiting until your saliva softens it enough to finally strike and carve a bite with your fangs. That is the art of eating Gyarados. Now let us eat." Rubia concludes, taking a carving herself...

Zeta "Mmmm..." Zeta frowned, deep in thought. The question posed by the armored girl in the stars had her a bit worried, honestly. What could she even remember, and how she got here, both were equally important questions. However, while one might run away from the truth that Zeta was facing, she was far too innocent to doubt it or her current condition. She was fine, she just wasn't where she really should've been. So all she had to do was get back there. "I think I died, but it wasn't in a Nexus like this. Is this some Nexus where you go when you die? I've been to one similar to that in the past." She answered with an excited smile. She didn't seem all that worried about the whole situation. "Let me just grab my A-Comm and see if I can get a signal around here!" She added as she started rummaging through her outfit. "Hmm, not here, nor here, oh hey here it i- WAH!" The moment the cabin on fire burst open, Zeta turned to look that way. The girl that came from inside was shouting someone's name, but the one that waved to Zeta had already begun talking to her. She smiled as she floated downwards so she was on the same level as the two of them. "H-hello there, guys!" She waved happily. "Me and my friend over there have been wondering how we got here! My name's-" "Her name is Magical Nexus Girl Lone☆Zeta." "Huh?" The voice came from the gem on her chest, which turned as pitch black hollow as the Anti-Space around her. Like an endless hole in her chest. "W-wait you sounds just like-" "Mhmhmhm~! Yes it is I, President Naether! In the form of the only Core you have been left with in this world, I shall lead you." "I don't get it, which Core, I can't feel any Type Energy in this world...s-so anyways my name is Lone☆Zeta, pleased to meet you both, Bellona, Kanae!" She turned to the girl in the stars. "What's your name~?"

Zeta Emptiness engulfed Zeta. She felt the Cores' energies being drained away, turned into the Anti-Space tearing away at her very existence as she was left alone to face this calamity. She'd failed. --- The Nexus Girl woke in silence. Her eyes flicked open drowsily as she found that she still had knees to hold on to, floating in a fetal position, her scarf rotating behind her in a helix. She was still in Anti-Space, yet this one wasn't really hollow like the actual thing. One thing was for certain, she was dead. "H-has it restarted?" She screamed, straightening her body out quickly, which just made her spin really fast in the zero gravity suspension. Music: Curiosity of an innocent star "Woah-woah-woahhhhh!" She could see worlds around her as she spun. Nexuses, perhaps? Then why were they all so openly connected? No, this was different. Her spinning slowed down as she wondered what this all might mean. Confused, she marveled at the red skies over the burning house which reminded her a bit too much of Nexus #02's burning fields, waved back, pushed by some innate excitement at the prospect of the first human she saw here greeting her so softly, dazzled at the field of stars, stared at the harpoon and the two people put off for some strange reason by the whole scene. There was just no positivity in that world. Zeta shook her head. She was still quite interested in the sight, but she kept spinning on. "W-wooooooow! This tower is so big like Space Aether!" She exclaimed as she saw the futuristic building appear. The pushed herself to spin vertically so she could try and see how far up it went, but her line of sight was cut off by the limit between the worlds before she could see, prompting her to pout. "I wanted to see..." She said through her pouting face, a muffled dissatisfied grunt. Before long, she also realized she'd crossed her hands and feet as she spun, stuck in some sort of half-sitting position as she floated on. She peeked through the hut's window to try and get a better look at the girl inside but couldn't catch a good enough view before she turned to the mirrors. Or at least she thought they were mirrors. The sight made her a bit dizzy along with the spinning. And lastly the ponds. Those reminded her of her home Nexus ever so slightly. The water there was abundant. Too bad it was apparently turning living things into crystals. What did they say it was...hmm...crystallization? Or something petri-petra...... Her thought process was cut short when she heard a voice call out to her. "Floatie? You mean me?" Zeta said, stopping her spinning, as she looked at the armored girl before the visage of stars and pointed at her chest, where a rather large bright yellow circular gem was embedded in her clothes. "B-but aren't floaties those things you bring to the beach? To float!" She smiled brightly at the unknown girl. What would stand out to the armored girl would be the triangular pupils in her eyes.

#04 TOWN - HOUSE SENA *+Leader* "Tradition, you say~? That's interesting! This whole place is full of traditions, so I don't think she'd need to do that though..." Leader perks up excitedly and starts walking from one side of the table to the other, seemingly in deep thought. She's really taking the ghost thing seriously, as it seems. All of a sudden, the girl slams her fist into the other palm and turns to Sena. Dolly starts rapidly spinning but not Rapidly Spinning. "Oooo, what if she really does want someone to notice her? I've had the same idea already as the leader, of course. It'd be easy to bait an attention seeking evil spirit though, we've just gotta give her a stage. Maybe she can come kidnap us and then we can kidnap her back! You know, a part of the Aquarium is still closed off. It's a pretty big space, we can totally make a stage there! I've heard from Father he's a renowned Magikarp life coach as well." "Oh, the Cadet boss? Could be, could be..." Jenny gives an inquisitive look but still keeps her joking grin. She looks at Cathode and Emm and smiles widely. "You guys are gonna try it for me??? Thank you so much, let me just get the cups for you two and....VOILA! Here you go!" She places, on the stand before them, two cups of ice cream filled with what could only be described as a pile of meatballs that reeked of sugar with a tinge of coffe and some...err...Tamatoes in it. "Tamao berries are spicy so I guess that gives it an added layer of flavor. See how it forms such hard balls though? I tried so many things but I can't really get it to be softer. So you'll just gotta bite em!" "Hard balls..." Uno looks at Jenny with a puzzled look. She then shakes her head and slaps herself on the face lights, as if waking up. "I-irrelevant. But I don't think that's how ice cream is supposed to work..." ------------------------------------------------------------- #04 RISTORANTE RADOVAN *+Zeta; Rubia; Chief* Zeta smiles and her eyes sparkle as Radovan rejects the agreement. Rubia shakes her head in disapproval but the Chief grins, picks the papers up and rips them apart. "There, Zeta, now yours doesn't count either." He says as he gives a short chuckle, prodding Rubia with his elbow. She sighs in response while Zeta's mouth forms an OOOO. "OOOOOO thank you very much!" She says. "When's the garymeat coming?" "Soon. Please calm-" Another prod from the chief. "CHIEF!" "She said garymeat. Why've you gotta be so serious, smile a little!" "Please stop." "NUP!" "Ahaha, you two are funny~" Zeta says with a smile. As the Chief continually prods, Rubia at one point uses her foot to push his chair away from hers. He doesn't seem to mind that much. "So Zeta, I see you have been getting accustomed to living outside of Nexus #08." "8, 8..." She counts on her fingers. "O-oh the Crystal Forest! Yupyup, we didn't have any tasty food there. Or any food at all, hahaha!" "That's good to hear. Radovan isn't bothering you much, I presume." She glances at the boy. "Nah, Radovan is pretty great! I like him a lot!" "I see. We've been running some tests on your two Pokemon as well. All the aftereffects from the exposure to the particles over at your home Nexus have dissipated by now. Same can be said for all the Pokemon still living in that Nexus, though the process is slower. Soon many of the petrified Pokemon will be rehabilitated and relocated, and repopulation will be able to begin. Radovan, your group had brough an Egg with them back from there if you recall. A Wailmer egg. Running some tests on it, we've established some irregularities in its genetic composition. We cannot identify them so far, but the Pokemon that hatches will probably be different in some way. I hope you'll take care of it from here onward." She says as she picks her A-Comm. "I'll be sending it to your group's account. During your time here, it may be wise to incubate it. Such a Pokemon would largely benefit from a maritime environment at birth, so please do set this up when you return to your vacation residence." She claps her hands together and gestures at Sena with a thumb up. "Part time Ghost Division Detective Sena it is!" She says as the Shuppet floats around her head. "Fufufu, then the first thing we gotta do is tell you about the Ghost Girl everyone around here fears! Come with me downstairs!" She grabs Sena's hand and forcefully drags him down. She's at least a head shorter than him but she still yanks hard enough he can't fight back. She leads him down into an apparent living area with a table and loads of dust everywhere. It's lit only by desk lamps scattered around the floor, giving the place a nightly vibe despite it probably still being day outside. Oh, and all the blinds are down and some of the windows are also shut with wooden boards. "Sit down!" She pushes Sena into one of the chairs at the table. You've apparently just left the unconcious guy upstairs. Leader runs around and flicks all the lamps off, then runs up and jumps on the table, pulling her A-Comm out and using it as a flashlight to illuminate her face spoopily. "Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, you ready to have your eyes opened to THE TRUTH? The disappearances around here are all caused by the Ghost Girl, though I like to call her the Dancer. You know, cause she dances. That's why she appears at the Festival. It's so that people can see her dance! So, to catch her, we just need to provide her with a place she'd wanna dance at! And it has to be at night!" She kneels down on the table so that her face is closer to Sena's. Dolly's eyes seem to pierce the darkness behind her, glaringly yellow. "You wanna know why she dances in the afterlife?" Jenny shouts as Magnum pops up from somewhere behind the ice cream stand. There are several chairs and tables under parasols around the stand. "Emmanuel! And you, hello new customer, my name is Jenny and this is my ice cream shop. Pleased to meet you." Jenny gives a slight bow as Magnum frowns. Uno turns to Emmanuel with a hand to her chest. "O-oh, so you think it might prefer the night for some other reason?" She asks. "My name is Uno, pleased to meet you as well." She bows back to Jenny. Jenny grins joyfully and leans over the stand towards Cathode and Emm. "I'm doing great after our last meeting! Since you've helped me out, no one's really noticed the mess I'd made. In fact, this whole deal where I'm here is because boss thought I'm ready to handle more traffic, so I was put at a busier place!" "..." "...though there aren't that many people around right noooow..." Jenny gives an embarrassed chuckle as she scratches the back of her head. "U-uhm and I'm working the day shift here... So I actually got more traffic back at the HQ................................................." Magnum frowns and shakes his head as Jenny gives a long sigh. "B-but I've been working on new ice cream flavors in the meantime! You know that some bigshot from this Nexus really likes this crazy weird sugar-filled coffee with tamato berries in it? So I been trying to make it work to, you know, appeal to the locals AND tourists around! So say, wanna be my guinea pigs?" Jenny's grin is wide, while Uno seems uncomfortable. "U-uh......" She stutters. In the meantime, the Chief walks over and seems he wants to add something or answer Radovan's question, but Rubia promptly stands up and holds a hand over his face. "Not a word out of you, Chief. Taking care of your public image is already problematic enough." She says and, upon seeing him shrug and seemingly give up on his intent, she sits back down. The moment she sits back down though... "Rubia says I'm addicted to sugar but she's overexaggerating. Some people have already used the knowledge to try and take me down in the past, haha, you know! So she worries over nothing." He sits down at the table, pulling a nearby chair. "CHIEF!" Rubia sighs and pulls out another paper for Zeta and Radovan to sign. "Please sign this as well." Zeta is now busy signing them as the Chief grabs the glass and jugs it all down, licking his lips. "Mhm." "There I'm finished!" Zeta hands back the papers with stars drawn as signatures, all proud and stuff. Rubia checks it over, looks at Zeta and shrugs. "Good enough." "So what do these even mean?" Zeta asks curiously. "It's a legal contract binding you to not say anything about anything you've heard here and are going to hear here during our meeting. To anyone. If you do you will be taken to prison by my orders." "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? But it's funny and I wanna tell it to Cathode! Radovan, don't sign this, you've gotta tell it to Cathode in my stead!"

#04 TOWN - HOUSE SENA *+Ghost girl???* The girl laughs heartily at Sena's questions. She holds out one finger for the first answer, two for the second, and three for the third, giving a slight giggle with that one and sticking her tongue out. "One, you can call me Leader, I'm a fugitive from the Space Aether Academy. Two, you're silly, if we weren't secret, we would be discontinued. It's as simple as that! And three, well, I can't return your A-Comm because I broke it. Duuuuh, do you want us to get tracked while we're doing our business!? I thought you were at least some kinda wannabe pro, geez. On and this guy is useless. The stuff he's told you is child's play, everyone knows it. I coulda told you that. If you want more juice on the ghost, you'll have to agree to work with Dolly, Motor and me as part of the Ghost Division! Come on, I gave you three answers, so it's only fair you give me at least one back." Of note is the fact the girl does seem to have an A-Comm on her person. Thus why couldn't they just track her? "YAHOOOO, I'M OVER HERE COME BUY MY ICE CREAM!!!" "Oh, d-do you know this ice cream woman?" And it's hard to come by as you said." Rubia answers without batting an eye. "Oh my, this is boring without the Chief." She says, looking to the door where the man went. Her eyes glance at Radovan and Zeta from the side with a piercing gaze. "Promise that you won't say anything about what I'm about to disclose to anyone. The Chief is a public person, it does not need to be known." Zeta nods, confused, while Rubia clears her throat. "Chief, your Double Maxi Tamato Espresso with extra sugar is cooling!" She shouts. And on cue, the door slams open. "I FORGOT." The man yells. Looking at the table, he is first confused seeing Radovan and Zeta at his seats, but then he smiles. "We have guests too!" "Excuse the Chief, the sugar gets to him." She pulls a set of papers in a file from behind her back and hands both Radovan and Zeta what appears to be a non-disclosure agreement. She hands each a pen as well. "Please sign this here. By signing, you agree not to speak of the Double Maxi Tamato Espresso with extra sugar." [Agree on the non-disclosure?] y/n
