Since your entire party use special atk you should use 1 or 2 guard spec. It prevents stats reduction for 5 turns, open with ampharos and growlithe, use the guard spec. within growlithe battle command and have ampharos slowly murder shelly team. You should know that for this battle ampharos have a good toolset to kill everything, but BEWEAR of the field effect + rain strats araquinid its a hell of a bulky mon for this part of the game, and specialy for your team, so since we are using X-itens for this battle you might as well use a X - special atk + def, or speed + special atk, just take your time on the first 2 or 3 round of the battle to setup with ampharos or swoobat and you should be good.

do a bigboy strat, i call YOLO and dont grind, try to win against Sanson its not inpossible. In this strat i do generaly give more battles for the one mon that can actualy beat Sanson's team, them use some x - items, your team can win if you abuse swampert and blaziken, actualy its a easy win wif blaziken, bulkup for DAYS. Reborn actualy dont need grind, grind help of course but it's not necessary for winning, take your time and prepare your strategy.

i belive that self hit from confusion is neutral, so you going to hit yourself, go for politoed, rain setter witch can do a lot of fun set, like belly drum, and for batton pass try scolipede support ( spikes and speed boost ) and them slowly grind every one. Note gorebyss maybe is what you looking for, coil, aqua ring, baton pass, can learn swagger and so forth have some good defensive value and most important shell smash or huntail for that sweet attack stat, but idk try something crazy like curse baton pass pyukumuku

Like mde2001 said Charmander is the best option, lvl 16 dragon rage and you good to go, and on top of that charmander learns all of the early HM, Just grab one charmander and stomp the early game all you want.

Man you should try other's broken mons, well they arent that broken but some x itens and you are all set to go, i sugest for a slow but steady run a torterra, shell armor, earthquake, woodhammer crunch, and last just curse like a drunken sailor, preety good.

Since nobody said it, try using Kinklang. It is not the best steel type but it's preeeety decent, just try using it either special or physical it's not that bad, but if you realy wanna destroy xim just go metagross. PS. special kinklang shines most on doubles just take your time and analise it.
