Mie swiped the Trainer Card and sure enough, the display read exactly as the man had said it would. After taking a quick glance at the display and the 100 BP noted in the corner, she closed the Pokedex so she could focus on the speech. A sense of dread came over her when she realized an implied consequence of the system: the possibility of the BP counter reaching zero. That meant that basic necessities would be completely cut off. Of course, there was likely no way the school would allow anyone to starve to death. Still, it would probably not be a bad idea to check. After all, Mie felt like she would be the first person that would happen to. She raised her hand with an obvious shaking due to nerves and forced out the question she had been wanting to ask. "U-um, what would happen if s-somebody's BP hit 0 at any point?" Though as soon as she finished her question, she heard another person loudly proclaiming that he wanted to move on with the assembly. Hopefully, her question was heard. Otherwise, she knew she likely would not be able to muster the courage to try to ask again.

The chain hung. Many questions raced through Nagi's head as she had no idea what the chain's purpose was and at the moment, it did not matter. The man had anticipated a slash and jumped. Not only did he do that, but he was also shooting another one of those chain bullets. Again, the questions raced through her mind. What was the chain's purpose? What would be the effect of making contact with it? Were their purposes meant to restrict Nagi's movements? Were they meant to create some sort of magic array? Nagi had no idea. As much as she would have loved to gain information, the risks were far too great. Plus, there was the problem of the incoming scythe from another direction. Wait…scythe? IS THAT GIRL AN IDIOT?! DOES SHE NOT REALIZE THAT SHE'S DOING FRIENDLY FIRE?! Nagi suppressed the urge to scream and took the best possible action to evade both. She jumped up and slightly backwards with a simple kick off the floor. Her small body flew up at tremendous speed until her altitude was slightly greater than her enemy's. Using the air currents around her to keep her body in place, Nagi held both hands in front of her and immediately extended two air lances towards her target.

Welp…2 attacks coming in 2 directions…one from an enemy and the other being 'friendly' fire... Nagi's in a pickle…oh wait…Nitrogen armor... Actually…would attempting to jump on and off her scythe be feasible?

"Yuii-chan…?" The woman muttered at the sound of an odd nickname from the lone girl of the three. She felt that she may want to question it but she really did not feel the proper motivation to question the quirks of any of the two who were currently speaking in such upbeat manners. She put a finger to the end of her hair and started twirling it around. Luckily for Yuiitsu, the saving grace came from the one who seemed to be the no-nonsense kind of guy. "Well, I guess we can use your question as a jumping point to go straight to the main portion of the debriefing. I'll start with a brief introduction to who the Kihara are. While Makoto is one of those rare people who seem to have delved deep enough to have a basic knowledge of our existence, most people don't. So, I'll start from the beginning. I hope all of you are listening because I'm not going to waste time repeating all of this. "To most who have heard of or interacted with us, the Kihara Family is a group of scientists with a passion for science and with little, if any, concern for ethics. On the surface, that is what we are. But, at our core, we are the byproduct of mankind's reliance on scientific development. So long as mankind continues to rely on scientific development, we will continue to exist. Even if the current bloodline is destroyed, the essence of the family will merely respawn in a different bloodline. As a result of this, we tend to go where our research specialties can progress the most and Academy City's virtual monopoly on scientific development leads to all of the Kiharas being contained within the walls of the city. "Now, here is the problem. Academy City is now waging war with Russia and due to the nature of Russia's declaration of war, there has been a ripple in the conscious of the world. Will Academy City's superiority and monopoly remain or will it crumble? That ripple has gone deep into even the darker sides of the city and reached the Kihara Family. As such, these four Kiharas are attempting to leave Academy City as there is a possibility of their research being optimized outside of the city. Of course, the higher ups don't want certain research to leak outside of the city so we have decided it would be better to cut our losses. In the end, the bond between Kiharas is nothing more than a burning curiosity to discover the unknown. At least, that's how sensei would put it." With that, she stopped twirling her hair and then looked to the faces on the screen. "Do you have any more questions before we run to the final part of the debriefing? Or, if all is clear, I will give you a brief description of the targets and the reason why I had you put under chloroform and brought to separate unmonitored locations."

Sounds fun. Well, that's what I get for having a music library filled with anime OPs, EDs, and character songs.

8/10 I like and dislike the style.

She had successfully dropkicked the man and it looked like she knocked him unconscious as far as she could tell. With that, he feet touched the ground. However, she had not even a moment's reprieve as the partner had immediately aimed and fired at her. Nagi was confident she could take a couple of bullets without a problem but the chain on the third one was tugging at her instincts so she definitely did not want to take the risk. Perhaps the chain was the only dangerous part. Perhaps it was actually safe. Whatever it was, there was no point in taking unnecessary damage. So, she poised to dodge. By manipulating the air around the back of her head, she created a wind that forced her head down. In that instant, she lunged. She was grateful for her height (or lack thereof) as it made dodging attacks from larger opponents far easier as they would generally fly over her. The armor of nitrogen began to spin and shear around her, creating a deadly air chainsaw that disrupted the flow of air around her while she ran straight towards the man's legs, nitrogen blade at the ready in her right arm. She would break past, disrupt the bullet's flight path through messing with the air flow around it, and attack the man's legs with her spear, armor, or fist. At least, that was the plan.

Wait…who were those bullets fired at? Nagi or Hikaru? And the first two are just normal looking bullets, right?

10/10 namie's renditions of Mei are always wonderful.
