So, I'm now up to Episode 60 - Yuya just started his duel against the Prison Boss and seriously... this is the BEST YGO Arc I've seen... even better than the original Yugi Arc (even though I still don't really like the Action Cards) I mean they bring in like EVERYTHING from the previous Arcs: now in the Synchro Dimension it's actually 5D's all over again, most likely some time post time-skip after Yusei and Jacks final Duel. (and it's common knowledge that 5D's is the same world as original and GX... since GX was the same as original and Kaiba corp. essentially made Domino city into 5D's New Domino City) In XYZ Dimension aka Heartland, I suppose it WAS basically Zexal (since it's now destroyed and all) now... Fusion Dimension is interesting, first I thought Fusion Dimension would tie in into the Original/GX since back then we didn't have Synchro/XYZ and there was only Fusion (and the neglected Ritual) and Academia made sense to me as GX's Duel Academy actually I would be even MORE hyped if they would have brought back the original MCs of the previous Arcs for being Yuyas "Soulmates" (Yuto / Yuugo / Yuuri) ... I mean it would made actually sense! Each MCs name, from each Arc also starts with 'Yu' ... with Jaden beeing the odd-one out for it being his lastname: Yugi Yuki (Jaden) Yusei Yuma With Original/GX/5D's sharing the same world, and it being the Synchro Dimension, Yugi and Jaden would have fallen out... because future, and Yusei would step in, and Yuma for the XYZ Dimension This is totally only fan-theorizing but hey... what ever... this whole Dimension-thing got me thinking... espacially after Yuya encountering Crow and arguing with him, like Yusei did! However... the Prison Boss claims he is Boss there since 10 years... but yet Crow and Jack (poster/Intro) don't look much older... and if I recall correctly, someone other was Prison Boss back when Yusei went there... maybe another timeline of 5Ds or there is some inconcistency... Anymway... only got 18 Episodes left ... after like 3-4 days of watching xD (I can't recall when I've gone through an Anime so fast the last time ^^)

Ok... I didn't read all of your In-depths stuff, because I don't want to be spoiled... I'm now at Episode 37 (yeah I binged watched a few hours straight) and now this Synchro-Dimensions guy appeared and finally at least a FEW answers on what's going on! praise the heart of the cards! and now I seriously must question Yuuya's eye-sight... "That guy [synchro-Guy] and Yuto look exactly like me! WHAT???" Dude... have you recently looked into a mirror?? Yuto I can understand, facial features and your hairstyle just hair-gel'd up... but Synchro-Guy?? DAMN HE LOOKS NOTHING LIKE YOU! And yeah... now I'm really intruiged by the story... oddly enough that was in no YGO Arc like that... This story is actually DARK! and not hilariously comically Dark like most the late Yugi or 5D's, or Zexal... this is really Dark! There is a full fletched WAR going down! although the fact remains that they are using a HOLOGRAPHIC CARD GAME to wage this war, which really doesn't make sense... I mean, who, in-universe, had the bright idea: "Hey let's make a card game that young children and adults enjoy alike! - Oh, and make the holograms so powerful you can destroy and/or conquer the world with it!!!" (This is something I will never get over in any YGO - at least the shadow realm made some sense in this regard... xD) Oh, and WHY IN THE LOVE OF GOD would you continue to use Fusion/Special Summons when all cards of your enemy are targeting specifically special-summoned monsters??? Sora could have easily destroyed Shun's Raid Raptors - Rise Falcon, if he just normal summoned any of his low level monsters and just attacked!!!

Soooo... first of all: KAWAIIIIIIII!!!!! <3 second if Nuclom can melt steels beams, as you stated yourself, and itself is Steel-type, wouldn't it melt itself??? A Pokemon that (slowly) kills itself over time... creepy... and with it being cute AND radioactively inducing toxic-status ... how am I able to cuddle it??? that is unfair! however it's unique typing is interesting if we look at resistances and weaknesses: it's only weaknesses are - Ground (double weakness) and Fire (normal weakness) and it resist sooo much: double resists: Grass, Bug, Fairy normal resists: Normal, Dragon, Flying, Ice, Rock, Steel Nullifies: Poison (itself) that is 10 resists to 2 weaknesses! But it's STAB offensive capabilities seem to be limited: Poison is effective against: Grass and Fairy Steel is effective against: Rock, Ice and Fairy so we have a complete check against MOST Fairies... so it has 4 types it is strong against, and now it depends how frequent those 4 types are if we get a Fairy with Rock/Grass/Ice dual-typing for a double weakness against steel or Poison... for now, I see it as a pretty deadly physical wall, with Radioactive toxic effect + Venoshock and Iron Defence and maybe even a recovery move like Rest???

Now one thing really bothers me HOW COULD THEY MISTOOK YUZU FOR RURI??? THEY LOOK TOTALLY DIFFERENT!!! but thinking about it... She might wear her hair similar at some point... but seriously... does no one never check hair-color! Ruri with that dark hair and Yuzu with her bright pink-ish hair - HOW could anyone be fooled by that? I get that Yuzu could have thought that Yuto (that was his name, right?) was Yuuya... because of their similar face and hairstyle and it was dark in that warehouse where they first met... but even she acknowledged pretty fast that this "mysterious black-mask guy" couldn't be Yuuya... Oh god... why are all Anime characters sooo stupidly dumb??

So... I just recently started to watch YGO! ArcV I never bothered before, because our free-TV channels never bothered to air the final few episodes of 5D's and XYZ, but I just finished another Anime and thought: "ah... what the hell, let's give it a shot and see what crazy stuff they've come up with." I'm currently at Episode 27, Yuuya just beat 'him, the man, Gogenzaka' for his entry into the Tournament... and until now there is that burning question in my head: "ARE ALL DUELIST IN THIS WORLD MORONS?????" why do I think that? - let me explain: first of all - pendulum is frickin' OP... sooo... why is everyone like "OH SHIT! My opponent uses <insert summoning method> Summoning???" It's like they've NEVER experienced it before! Yet, those cards are available to EVERYBODY, those rules for those summoning methods are KNOWN BY EVERYBODY!!! It's like they've dueled for years without really know the rules or their own cards... just go to the next card-shop and by yourself some "fusion magic" or Tuner cards! JEEZUZ it's not that hard! Yet they all act if only the top elite duelists of this "LDS" can or are allowed to use these kind of summons... WHAT??? Best displayed by Yuzu... she seeked out to learn fusion, we even see her have a Fusion monster in her Deck! Either she got that card, which oddly enough fits perfectly into her singing-Diva Deck Theme, just now or she HAD this card all along, but never bothered to get herself a fusion-magic card... why?? why would you not utilize this?? And your DAD is the principal of your dueling school!! oh and yeah... she put her fusion monster in her regular Deck... not her Extra-Deck... IS THERE LIKE NO RULE-BOOK AT ALL? WHAT DID THEY EVEN LEARN AT THEIR DUELSCHOOL??? It's the same with XYZ-summoning, which is oddly the easiest to perform, since you only need 2 monster with the same level on the field... but no one has a fiiting XYZ-Monster in their Deck? And all of the time they always talked about the 4 summoning methods... Normal/Advanced, Fusion, Synchro and XYZ ... then Pendulum came along making everyone wonder about this new fifth summoning method... and I SCREAMED AT SCREEN! "WRONG! There were already 5 Summoning methods! YOU ALL FORGOT RITUALS!! JEEZUZ and you want to be elite-students??" at least this one girl used ritual summoning... but everyone seemed ok with it... nothing special, as if everyone knows about them and everyone can use them... Well TOP NEWS - everyone with the right cards can use every summoning method! Then there are these two "Raid Raptor" guys who seem to somehow come from the future(???) who say "Fusion summoning is evil!!! We mus destroy all Fusion users! We would never use Fusion summons because it is used by our evil enemies!!" No! You are wrong! it's JUST A SUMMONING METHOD! Nothing is evil about a frickin' summoning method in a frickin' CARD GAME! Maybe your enemies are evil for whatever reason... but this is just a method, which you yourself could use to do good! Now let me talk about Yuuya... this whiny little egoistic prick... "Ohhhh new summoning method! It has chosen me! and only me! I'm the only one allowed to use it! I don't accept anyone else who may be able to use it! It belongs only to me!!!" Well granted... currently he is the only one with 'official' pendulum cards... but... wow! this egoism is strong in him - he has fallen to the dark side... almost every conflict with those LDS guys would have never happened if he just went: "Hey guys... there is this new summoning method... sooo... you guys have like all the equipment... let's science it together!" - BAM! everyone is happy and everyone are friends! And those Action-duels and Action cards... are just another way to give the protagonist some means of comeback... wow Yuuya would have lost like every duel if it weren't for those cards... So... these are my current thoughts on ArcV - please no spoilers...

Soooo... Bug/Psychic a unique type combination... interesting... I guess it gets a second stage, since it's a caterpillar and those tend to become some kind of butterfly... finally a Butterfly-Pokemon that gets STAB from the early learned confusion? - WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?? and JEEZUZ - it has many weaknesses: double weakness - none (*phew*) weakness - 6! -> Fire, Flying, Rock, Ghost, Dark ... and itself BUG (this is the most weaknesses a Bug Type can have - including double weaknesses... only Bug/Grass is weaker to stuff... with 6 weaknesses and 2 of them being double-weaknesses) resists - 3 -> Grass, Ground, Psychic double resist - 1 -> Fighting

Well everyone in the Elite 4 of Kanto has at least one Pokemon that isn't their 'assigned' type: Lorelei assigned Type: Ice Pokemon out of the line: Slowbro - Water/Psychic Also all of her Pokemon ar water-type except 1 - Jynx (Ice/Psychic) Bruno: assigned Type: Fighting Pokemon out of the line: 2x Onix - Rock/Ground Agatha: assigned Type: Ghost Pokemon out of the line: Arbok (Poison) + Golbat (Poison/Flying) but yeah - every of her Pokemon shares the poison-type... but that is due to the fact that the only ghosts available in Gen.1 happened to have the poison type Lance: assigned Type: Dragon Pokemon out of the line: Gyarados (Water/Flying) and Aerodactyl (Rock/Flying) Lance suffers from the same thing Agatha suffered - lack of available Pokemon of his type. The only Dragons in Gen.1 are the Dratini-line. and battling 5 Dragonairs/Dragonite would be... boring. and sorry Ice cream Sand witch - not ALL of his Pokemon are flying types... Dragonair is just Dragon and he got 2 of them. However in Gen2 you are correct... there his Dragonairs evolved into Dragonite and he also gets a Charizard... thus making him effectiveley have an all flying-team. So as you see: the assigned types come from their most USED Types... although Agatha uses 5 Poison and only 3 Ghost types... But if we take into consideration that the only Gen1 ghosts happed to have the poisontype as secondary typing... and IGNORE THAT FACT: she would use 3 Ghost and 2 Poison types, that making Ghost her most used type. also I think they assigned her Ghost despite that fact because there was already a Poison GYM! This also applies to Lance and Bruno of Gen2 ... where there was already a Flying-Gym but ALSO a Dragon Gym and Lance was an established member already and changing his typing would have been confusing. and there was a fighting gym for Bruno... This makes Gen2 (Johto) the only region where 2 types appear twice as a challange - a Gym and Elite 4 / Champ

As you may get it from the title... I had a death in the family just now... (and I'm writing this to get myself distracted while dealing with it) My mother died yesterday, after two weeks in hospital, to an aggressive lung-cancer tumor. (according to the doctors it was one of the most aggressive ones they've seen) The tumor was developing for quiet some time before without noticing, but my mother was fine all the time until she had circularity collapse all of a sudden two weeks ago. So she was sent to hospital and got diagnosed with the tumor... so she stayed, and the doctors tried to fight the tumor until they saw how aggressive it was, my mothers condition got worse from day to day, and preparaed for operation. On Saturday, the day before her OP I visited her, and it pained me to see her like this, all week and damaged with all those tubes allowing her to breathe and pumping medication into her. When I had to leave, I hugged her and said: "Don't worry, everything be alright, I'll see you monday after you recoverd from your OP. Bye mom, I love you." I left the hospital and went to my car... at that point I was scared shitless that she'd die and had small break down in my car. On Sunday I hoped and prayed... and in the evening I got a call from my Dad telling me: "OP went well, your Mom is still though. Look, your brother and I can't visit her in morning due to work. can you go see her in the morning, so that someone is there for her?" "Sure, I wanted to see her anyways in the afternoon." - I answered. The day went by, I was happy that everything went well and I went to sleep peacefully... In the morning, I got up extra early, went showering and had my breakfast and was getting ready to drive to the hospital when my Dad called me again: "Hey boy..." I interrupted him "I didn't forget, I was just getting ready to drive over to Mom." Then he continued: "yeah... about that... you don't have to drive to the hospital... your mother died a few hours ago..." I slumped into my chair and was all like "No... your kidding right? This can't... NO!" "I know it's hard, but please stay strong... she didn't have to suffer... though the OP was a success, the damage had been done. She died peacefully in her sleep. When you feel like it, you can come over..." We hung up... and I broke down for real... I cried, and screamed and punched all the things... for like an hour straight. I was just devestated... In the middle of it I even woke up my flatmate, he came to my all sleepy... "Dude... what's wrong?" "Everything... Everything is fucking wrong! ... My... my mom just died..." After all that I drove 'home' to my dad and brother... As I pulled into the parking spots my dad just came out of the house, with the ID cards and all that from my mother in hand... he told me he was on his way to the mortician, to get everything arranged, and that my moms sisters are on their way here. At this point the small faint of hope, that everything is just a bad dream, was crushed... I entered the house and my brother was laying on his bed just staring at the empty wall... we greeted each other only with a quiet "hey..." because we both knew that getting all emotional now wouldn't make things better. Then when my moms sisters arrived... it was the longest and most depressed hour of my life... It was just cruel to see her whole family in one room, being so devestated... and they had to talk about how things continue, like the funeral and all... It was the worst thing I ever experienced... After a few hours they left again... and so did I... I went back to my own home, my flatmate was at work, so I was all alone at this point... all alone to reflect on all those times with my mom, which will never occur again... like she always annoyed me and my brother with the question: "When will I finally get grand-children? I want to buy all those cute little things again" and we always jokingly answered: "ewww... kids! I'll never have kids, they are just so annyoing! I couldn't handle that!" It was always a joke... and I never wanted it to be reality... but now one of her greatest wish will never be true... Because of all those little things... I feel horrible, I feel like I failed her as her son... I can never make things up to her again... This feeling of emptyness, when you know that a person which you always could count on... is just gone... When I was home and saw our couch, where she always laid, was empty, and I knew she would never be there again... And now all I do is trying to distract myself with all kinds of stuff to keep my mind occupied to not think about these things... I just don't know what to do now...

Well... I hate you... I hate you all! IF there is one thing I truly hate: IT'S FRICKIN' CLOWNS! Jeezuz... and seriously in october, the month of horror??? Making it a frickin' DARK type... NOPE! NOPE NOPE! NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE!!!! I don't trust this little monsters smile... THAT'S HOW THEY GET YOU!!

yup last one was Seedstink and it's been a week. on the other hand: IT IS NOW OCTOBER! soooo... according to the "anticipated release" Chapter 1 should be coming around in the next few weeks

the most annoying things are: PROTECT moves on WILD Pokemon I mean... c'mon... I just want to grind my Pokemon and I encounter a Pokemon that grants good EXP... and it spams Protect! I want to effectiveley grind, not waste all my PP on your stupid, never failing, protect! JEEZUZ! The only thing it does is WASTE TIME and PP... ugh I hate it...
