  1. Also I think Nicki's argument is flawed, but I'm not sure it's intentional.
  2. Hmm... I'm not sure I follow. Tbh I think that the best course of action at this point is massclaim. Sure, the good roles will become the maf targets, but now that most of the information gathering roles are still alive, we may really find a maf or two.
  3. But I still don't understand how you know the maf tried to kill me last night. Even if you were the doctor protecting me, there's still the jailor around. As for the part of Nicki lying, you could've been jailed, and thus her roleclaim of having been roleblocked wouldn't make sense (since I assume L'Belle being the drunk is the only role we know for certain...). We're in the same situation as yesterday. Yay.
  4. Hm. Are you sure? I can't really think of a scenario in which you could make such a statement tbh...
  5. I thought the proof would be stronger... remember there's a driver in the setup. And that Amber may have been tailored. I guess Ame was telling the truth after all... Which does not mean you're lying, ofc.
  6. Hm, just a suggestion: We win if we stay for 2 days and nights without kills. So what if we tie the votes today, to force them use the strongman next night? They won't risk it.
  7. Tbh I still trust you, but perhaps you'll have to explain it anyway to convince the others... You're right, but that doesn't really blame her since we have no idea about Ame's actual role.
  8. But... why? Why would nicki claim that if she were mafia? That would only put her on the hot seat...
  9. Hm nice Did anybody lose a vest? Or should we thank the doc/jailer? Also, both Ali and Ame showed up as the Vig, as planned. The question now is who was lying, if one or both of them...
  10. I agree this is ridiculously OP. We will never know how many mafia are left, or the roles of ANYBODY. And I'm assuming the cop gets their report based on the alignment of the suit, not the real alignment of the player...
  11. I wouldn't, and this is simply because imo the vigilante role hinges too much on sheer luck to the point that it can be detrimental to the town. I'm not a big fan of the role and I usually think that losing it is no big deal. And idk whether I'm the only one that thinks this or not...
  12. Admittedly it wouldn't be a flawless strategy either but it could go like this: If Ame claimed vigi, we wouldn't lynch her at first because it's a rather useful role. If we asked her to prove it, she could simply use the factional mafia kill (so even watchers and trackers would believe it). If there were only one kill, she could've said that either the doc was protecting her or that the maf targeted a role protected by the doc or the jailer. These two roles would not claim easily, and the town would totally be in the dark regarding what's actually happening. She could even argue that the maf was playing mindgames on us by abstaining to kill so we end up lynching her. Nicki's claim on the other hand will readily be retaliated if Ame flips vigi. And she doesn't have much room to defend herself unless saying that Ame was tailored, which imo is unlikely. Anyway, one of the two is lying, so one of the two is maf.
  13. Simply because I'd see Nicki lying as a sloppy move, whereas Ame lying could've worked out if no-one else had visited Amber.
  14. I've played games in which the Strongman's only kill is independent from the factional kill. We don't know the mechanics in this case. @Bazaro, please? Anyway, the set of facts that best explain this conundrum involve Ame lying.
  15. Because even if there were 2 dead people, we could never be sure whether one of them was killed by the vigilante or not. I mean, they could correspond to the maf kill + coyote, or maf kill + strongman... Not to mention that a random kill, even if it's to prove your innocence, is bad for town...
  16. If Nicki is telling the truth, it's clear than somebody has altered Amber's role display.
  17. Therefore: Situation 1 implies Nicki is lying. Situation 2 implies Alistair randomkilled in N0 and maf failed. I fins it hard to believe... This is absurd. They could tailor each and every one of us. We would never know whether we've killed a maf or not, or whether townies were telling the truth or not...
  18. If this happens, it'll mean that we're facing an astoundingly highly coordinated mafia team. And this can really tell us who we should lynch next.
  19. But why should we leave ame alive? Niki has already made it clear that ame's lying.
  20. Why are you pressing her so much? You're basically telling mafia to kill her. Nicki can be 4 roles rn.
  21. That's a very nice piece of info. Two possible scenarios occur to me: 1. Amber was tailored, leading to -> either Alistair was the actress or Ame is lying (and therefore is maf). 2. Amber was the actress, leading to -> Alistair was the vigilante and Ame is lying (and therefore is maf). My vote stays on Ame for now. Option 1 has 50% of her being maf, option 2 is 100%. I'm not saying she's maf for certain, but she's our best bet as for now.
  22. Um... then I need to ask something. What do you mean here, @Bazaro? That the maf performing the factional kill cannot carry out the specific NA of their role, or that if somebody performs the factional kill then the rest of mafia cannot perform any of their NA's? Are you sure Ame's lying about her roleclaim or just that some part of the whole "theory" is not precise? I'll place a temporary vote on her anyway, imo her last comments have been increasingly suspicious [Eliminate] Amethyst
  23. Yeah but from her last posts, it seems to me that Ame is trying to justify herself using this excuse. Just a feeling I'm getting...
  24. (^ This assuming Ame is not maf and everything she said is made up, ofc)
