  1. {Classroom} The law? Paul thought. The hell happened yesterday? Did those three get in trouble with the police yesterday or something? The young man was trying to wrap his head around Anna's statement. Seemed time and time again the stakes of this whole investigation kept resurfacing, reminding him just how dangerous and bizarre this whole series of events really was. People could get hurt, or worse, if they weren't too careful. Made it seem like this whole thing was just pointless. He began to think that maybe he should just let the feds do their jobs and solve this whole thing like they're supposed to. Then again, they haven't exactly had the best track record with that as of late... One thing was for certain: he was hungry. Paul took out his lunch and proceeded to eat at his desk.
  2. Nidoking is a goddamn beast.

  3. Trivia Time: Swinub has the lowest base stat total of all Ice Types. The only time Swinub's eyes have been seen open was during the battle between Pryce and Erika in the Pokemon Adventures Manga when Pryce tells his to dodge Erika's Skiploom's attack. Swinub is one of the few Pokemon to have the same sprite in Gold and Silver.

Swinub is the only Pokemon that can be resistant to damage from all types of weather effects, including Shadow Sky, without the aid of an ability. In HeartGold and SoulSilver's coding, it's revealed that Swinub has Mud Shot listed as a "new HGSS" Egg Move, but it could already learn this move by breeding since Gen III. Swinub and its evolutions are the only Pokemon that are weak to the types of all three Starter Pokemon.

  4. The soundtrack from The World Ends With You is so goddamn good.

  5. Oh wait, I screwed that up. I actually determined it through the last digit in my Trainer ID for that specific game. And if it's a 0, I just use the next number in the line. Also I'm not very fond of that emote either.
  6. https://www.random.org/ I go on that site and set it to 1-9. If it lands on 1-3 I pick the grass start, 4-6 I pick fire and 7-9 I pick water. I usually do that with starters if I can't decide... or if I want some extra randomness added to a nuzlocke.
  7. As for myself, my choice will probably be decided by the final form... if you guys reveal it. But as of right now I'm torn by all three .-.
  8. Trivia Time: Magcargo is the only Pokemon to be obtainable in every Generation III game, including Pokemon Colosseum and XD. It's also obtainable in every Generation II and IV game, making Black and White the first main games since its debut where it cannot be obtained. No other Pokemon has the same type combination as Magcargo, either. Magcargo has its sprite changed in Crystal from Gold and Silver, in this case, its shell is changed slightly, making it one of the few Pokemon to have thr...

  9. I mean... I have some ideas floating around for another Ice type mon, but nothing solid yet.
  10. {Gawyn and Blair} "Seems like this place is a hot spot for the school body today." he said as he got closer to the duo. "Nice to meet you, Professor Fallas. I'm Paul, from Miss Reinier's class." He turned to look at the girl standing next to him. Yep, she was definitely in his class, though he never actually talked to her... or anyone from that class all too often. "You're from Miss Reinier's class too, right? I don't think we've ever officially met before." he said.
  11. I really like Hollow Bastion.

A specific incarnation, or all of them? I think my favorite is the KH1 version.

      SilverJakler

All of them, but KH1's probably my favorite too. Especially the music.

I love KH's music in general, but yeah Hollow Bastian's really stands out to me.

  12. Paul got off the bus and stood before the city museum. Something seemed to be calling him here, whether it was the dream he had while he was asleep in class or the nightmare he had while he was wide awake, he couldn't tell. All he knew is that there was a certain exhibit he should check into. He made his way through the double doors and paid the fee to get inside. As he was exploring the halls, nostalgia drifted through his thoughts. He'd come here every once and a while with his parents and Sylvia, usually when a new exhibit rolled in. He was also usually bored out of his mind whenever they paid a visit to this place, however there would always be that one exhibit that he'd enjoy. He was hoping that would be the one he was here for... As he turned a corner, he saw one of his fellow students, Blair, was it? She was accompanied by one of the teachers from his school, unfortunately it was one of the ones he never had so he couldn't think of his name. He approached the two of them with a greeting. "Hey, fancy meeting you guys here."
  13. Trivia Time: Ursaring and Donphan, along with their pre-evolutions, are the only Pokemon to swap version exclusiveness between localizations. While Teddiursa and Ursaring are found only in the Japanese Silver, they are not found in Silver in other languages, being found in the Gold versions in those languages instead, with Phanpy and Donphan getting the opposite treatment. This is corrected in the remakes, HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Ursaring's number of claws have changed over time and between canons. In its original artwork, Ursaring has four visible claws, however, in its HeartGold/SoulSilver artwork, it has five. In the Generation II games, it has three claws. From Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire up to and including Platinum, it has four claws. From HG/SS it has five. In the anime it's always had five.

  14. Jeez, it's starting to get really hard to for me to be invested in this. Lotta shit going on irl. I know I'm a number and all, so I'll try to get more active. EDIT: Okay, I've finally caught up. Would it be alright if I were to have Paul run into Blair and Gawyn inside the museum? I don't really want to intrude if you guys don't want him there just yet.
  15. Trivia Time: No other Pokemon has the same type combination as Sneasel and its evolved form, Weavile (Dark/Ice). Sneasel has the highest base Speed of all Pokemon that can evolve, at 115. In Pokemon Gold and Silver, Sneasel's skin color was brown with turquoise feathers. This was rectified in Pokemon crystal to match the official artwork.

Yea, GLi line and Weavile lines are more linked by Coincidence than being True Rival mons... because Gli can't do... anything to Weavile.

  16. {Classroom, Anyone} Somehow, Paul had managed to not throw up in the hallway after that terrifying vision washed over him. He had quickly and rather ungracefully made his way to the nurse's office after recovering a small amount of his senses. However, the feeling of unease had gone away once he arrived by the door. Once he got back to desk in the classroom, he was strangely wide awake. He paid as much attention to the lesson as possible, anything was better than being lost in his mind's personally instant replay of the visions from earlier. Once the bell rung he quickly grabbed his things and started heading down the hallway, passing by all the other students, lost in thought. "Hm. What to do now?" he thought to himself. He really didn't feel like going straight home again, but what could he do to kill a few hours? "Museum. Let's try that." So, the destination was decided. He figured he should walk there instead of taking the bus, as Paul wouldn't have enough money to pay for the ride over as well as the ticket to get in.
  17. Now It's Shuckle Time!: Shuckle has the most EXTREME stat distribution of any Pokemon, either being the best or in the bottom three of every base stat category: Shuckle has the highest base Special Defense or any Pokemon and ties with Mega Aggron and Mega Steelix for highest base Defense of any Pokemom, all at 230. Shuckle has the highest base Defense stat of all Rock and Bug types.

with minimal Defense stats, that have been hit with the maximum negative Defense modifiers, while Shuckle has Max Attack IVs and EVs, Shuckle can deal 481,226,036 damage with a Critical Hit.

Thanks guys. It's still a ways off from Level 43 so I just wanted to make sure so I know ahead of time.

  19. I've now been enlightened as to why people max E first on Wukong. Glorious... *sheds single tear*

  20. Only the Pokemon's primary type is counted in unlocking it. Say you beat the bug Gym Leader, that means if you see a Pokemon like Heracross, who's Bug/Fighting, then you can catch it, as Heracross' primary type is Bug while its secondary type is Fighting. You don't have to have both unlocked to catch a dual type.
  21. Trivia Time: The route that Snubbull swarms in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum is also its National Dex Number: 209. In early merchandise for Mewtwo Strikes Back, including the Pikachu's Vacation novelization, Snubbull's name is misspelled as "Snubble". This is also true in the title card for Snubbull's Snobbery. Lastly, Snubbull is named "Buru" in the Pokemon the First Movie Trading Cards set.

Ah, good to see the trivia man.

Buru remind me of something, but i can't put into it..

    2. Tomas Elliot

      Tomas Elliot

I think most of these early mis-spellings of its name have to do with the fact that Snubbull appeared in such media before GSC was officially announced.
