  1. Yeah Black and White started that trend (thank god)
  2. Yeah the also create certain fields when combined together. So if you can, use a 'Poke w/ Grass or Fire Pledge to get a surprise.
  3. Yeah I can see us getting one in the future. Possibly towards the end or postgame.
  4. Same here. I was confused as well.
  5. Whens romance option with Noel's Clefable Doll. I dunno that's the first ridiculous thing that came to my head lol.
  6. You should also introduce yourself at the Grand Hall! Welcome by the way. I hope you enjoy your fun (and possibly infuriating) journey through Reborn! See you around!
  7. I can see Sludge Wave happening because it's not a super widely distributed move. Cause Ame gave Aya Wave instead of the more widely learnt Bomb.
  8. Yup just gotta rack up those steps. Had the worst time getting a Male Snubull with Sludge Bomb so I could pass it down to Roserade a while back.
  9. TC said that Egg Moves aren't counted in analysis'. Mamo is a good Poke but is hindered without Crash.
  10. Yeah I always see you in like EVERY topic here lol. Thanks again.
  11. Yeah Ampharos is very good in my opinion. Great coverage and power, Bulk is good as well.
  12. Ampharosite because I feel that Ampharos is very underpowered. This also makes perfect sense due to the chance of Mareep getting axed. :] For real tho Lilligant would be cool. One of my favorite Pokemon.
  13. My team is in my signature. All at Level 60, Nice 'n powerful. :]
  14. I already covered Roserade and Noivern above so here are a few more Analysis' of Pokemon obtainable before Julia! *KABOOM* Garbodor ( C ): Trubbish pretty much fills a niche role early-game. However it preforms is VERY well. You may have seen some people praise Trubbish around the forums. The reason or that is Toxic Spkes. This move is very good for the first two gyms. Having steady damage stacking on you opponent is nice since their aren't too many options early-game. Resistance to Grass is key for it's role against Florinia. Manectric ( D+ - C- ): Good for Julia's Gym. If you're lucky that is. Depending on what moves her Pokemon use, Electrike can be immune due to Lighningrod. Later however, Manectric gets out classed by other Electric-Types such as Ampharos and Magnezone. Bibarel ( D- ): Trade for a Litleo lol. Best HM Slave so if you need that go for it. Would be better early game but Bibarel is weak to the first two gyms. Moody is too gimmicky in my opinion. Cherrim( C - B- ): Very reliant on Sunny Day. This makes Drought Ninetails a good partner. When is double battles, Cherrim preforms surprisingly well. This is due to the ability Flower Gift (Flower Gift: increases the Attack and Special Defence stats of the user and its allies by 1.5× and turns Cherrim into overcast mode). Very strong at certian times. Forretress ( D ): In my opinion, Hazards aren't the most useful niche to use in-game. Sure for 'Pokes like Roserade, Hazards are useful but they are viable outside of that role. It has a somewhat decent offensive movepool but it just doesn't seem very viable. Ariados( D ): Horrid movepool in early game. However, decent coverage is gained later. Takes of a ot of investment tp get going but you will be *kinda* rewarded for your efforts. Still not that reat though... Arbok( D+ ): Arbok sports a good support movepool. Offensive options don't pass much accept for early-game. Also Coil can be used for funsies. Not the best but there are uses for Arbok.
  15. If your talkin Grass-starters. I definitely agree with the recommendation of Torterra and Venusaur.
  16. I'll have to join the Krickitune and Trubbish club here lol. Elecktrike deserves an honorable mention as well due to Lightningrod. He was eventually replaced my Magnezone when I got that. If we ever get the ability to Mega Evolve Manectric (LOLOLOLOLnope) he will definitely get his time to shine again.
  17. Yeah if you feel its necesary, Do it If you need something to do in-game in between episodes. Do it.
  18. Same. Timid Shiny Delphox? Definitely worth keeping. Having a good nature is the most important imo. You can always EV train if you find particular stats lacking.
  19. I second the recommendations for the Mamoswine and Ludicolo rankings. Mamoswine: Once again Mamo is very powerful. STAB Earthquake is no joke. Having access to Ice Shard to help offset it's somewhat low Base 80 speed is a huge boost to it's viability. Thick Fat grants Mamo some extra defense against Fire-types it doesn't outspeed and can proceed to KO with Earthquake. Ludicolo: A Ludicolo under the rain is no joke. Don't let it's happy-dance fool you. Access to Rain Dance is what truly makes Ludicolo what it is. A rain-boosted surf is good coming of of its 90 SpAtk which is "decent" but the rain definitely helps. Ludicolo also gets STAB Giga Drain so it'll be dancing around for a while. Breeding for Leech Seed is a good idea so you can stack it with Giga to make Ludicolo even more annoying to take down. You can also opt for a Rain Dish variant if you feel like you want Ludicolo to be more "supporty" and slowly take town opponents and heal you 'Pokes at the same time. Ludicolo can fill multiple roles and is not to be underestimated. P.S. While Rain is up, if you must use your Fire-type to take a 'Poke down, make sure they have a move to fall back on because Fire-type moves are powered down. For example: My Blaziken has Fighting-type Moves.
  20. Okay sorry about that! I will just refer to that post when we are done with the Starters. I have a few other Peridot Pokemon (which those were) analysis' saved in Pastebins. Sadly I can't really contribute much to the remaining Starters since I have little experience with the rest. Happy analyzing! (man that was cheesy lol)
  21. Noivern - B-/B Noibat is very good against the second gym since you'll want to preserve your fighting type for good 'ol Cradily. However, Noibat evolves very late. Noivern's movepool is pretty good if you invest some Heart Scales into him. Mining is the best way to go about this. Just save before each rock! However, some good TMs don't come until very late (Flamethrower). Air Cutter is an excellent early-game option. Natural Roost is good for conserving Potions. B Rank from me! Roserade - B+/A-/A The Roserade evolution line has a large repertoire of support options at their disposal. When I say support I mean moves that inflict status ailments, entry hazards, and others. Roserade is also a very hard hitter. As a Roselia, it learns Giga Drain at Level 25. However, you must wait until Roselia is level 46 to get Synthesis. Aromatherapy can be useful for cleansing your team of status. Sadly, you must bred for Sleep Powder. Grass Whistle is an alternative but highly unreliable. Natural Cure is a great ability to have when combined with Rest. Weather Ball can be taught via Move Tutor as Roserade and when used in conjunction with Ninetails it is deadly. However, Happiness can be very annoying to raise. Roserade is a Pokemon that doesn't use up many potions, can hit hard, and support your team. All in all, I think Roserade deserves a High B. If you take the time to let Roselia learn its best moves, then it is top-tier (A) for sure.
  22. Pretty cool 'Mons on this list. Lots of training incoming!
  23. Looking good so far! Will write more in-depth analysis' of other Pokemon later.
