Rowlet looks super cute! I said the same thing about Chespin, but then I wasn't a big fan of the evolutions. I actually picked Froakie! Anyways, let's hope that Rowlet can manage to be good!

Realistically, Dazzling Gleam. Not that I really want it I could just see Adrienn giving it. However, we can have another current Florinia situation where a non-STAB TM for the Gym Leader is given (Grass Knot ---> Nature Power). I guess Noel also fits with that pattern. My Excakill just wants Iron Head through Move Tutor. -

I agree with the others above me. Carvanha or Lotad are probably your best picks at the moment. Another one of my favorites, Corphish, doesn't come until later. This 'Mon is mean with its Adaptability Crabhammers, Aqua Jets, and Knock-Offs / Crunches. It also gets Swords Dance to boot! Ludicolo has pretty neat typing and takes great advantage of Rain. It also can change the Field Effect w/ Mist. Sharpedo can pull-off mixed offences well and Speed Boost is an awesome Ability. -
In my dreams, Ampharos will get Draco Meteor. It'd be pretty cool if Ludicolo and Liligant got more of the Dance Moves. Fiery Dance would be fun. Also, Dedenne needs Moonblast.

If you talk to him in the Gym Library during morning hours and he proposes a battle, you should be able to meet him in the Field Room (where you battled Narcissa). I forget is the screen blanks out after your morning talk but go check out the Field during the Afternoon.

No. The Abomasnowite, Heracrossite, Pinsirite, and Bannetteite are the only available Mega Stones available at the moment (might be missing one). Also, we do not have access to the Mega Ring / Bracelet / Whatever at this point in time. Oh, I think you have to talk to him in the Library during the morning. If you do that twice in a row, he should be able to battle you at the Field during Afternoon hours.

At this point, most Starters are available outside of the Grand Hall. The "Pokemon Location Guide" here should give you the finer details.

I'm pretty proud of my Infernape who has been Mach Punching fools since Episode 7. Roserade is my second earliest member who has been very good at securing OHKOs w/ Toxic Spikes. I got Leaf Storm, Sludge Bomb, and HP Fire as well w/ Technician. Both are the veterans of my team (before Gym 1) and have been invaluable to me ever since! Although, everyone on my team is useful! I had a Gardevoir but I retired her when Malamar came around because it looked like an interesting 'mon.
