Ok it's come across my mind for too long, but it seems I do not have the time to settle down for it.
What do you guys think about basing a new Pokemon Fanmade game revolving around gangs, clans and guilds?
You start as a child with only your mother, and in the beginning of the game, you get to live the life of a normal kid, where you do simple quests and help around the community (etc Jump Quests, Quizzes) although only for a brief period of time. [5 minute gameplay worth].
Then one night, the player's mother disappears, and on your own, you have to find your mother. However, although the region is reputed to be vibrant and lively, under the depths and backstages of the community lie dangerous gangs, clans and guilds.
Gangs: Rowdy groups of people who utilise Pokemon to commit crimes. Lead by a Gang Leader.
Clans: An association of a few gangs to agree to territorial peace in the area, and sometimes borrow aid from one another. Lead by a Clan Chief.
Guilds: A powerful and large faction consisting of all the clans in the area, overseen by high-ranking Pokemon Trainers and lead ultimately by the Guild Master. There are 4 Guilds that control the 4 separate districts in the region.
Along the way, Mercenaries will come after the player, assuming the role of "Rival". Although the number of mercenaries increase every few "heads" the player acquires.
The player stumbles upon the death of his mother caused by a certain Guild Master, and is helpless at the time.
After a few years timeskip, the player is a teenager and has decided that it was time for revenge, and delves straight into the under dealings of the region.
The player has to battle and achieve and earn reputation as he acquires Clan Chiefs' heads.(yes, heads replaces badges).
Finally, after achieving a set amount of heads, the player decides to challenge the 4 Guild Masters, which are basically the elite 4, but does so individually. (Each has it's own "Arc").
However, upon defeating the Big 4, the player realises that The One who murdered his mother wasn't amongst them. In a final search, the player finds the "Mastermind" which is the placeholder for Pokemon Champion and executes due revenge.
