Since i hadn't told them about Ryu, they were a little surprised at first, but decided to see who my friend was. I then led them to the Ranch, and called for Ryu. When he came out of the Tall Grass, he surprised them a little, but they agreed once they saw how close our bond was. My Parents told Ryu and myself that he'd have to be Caught in order for us to remain together. They then told Ryu and me to wait there, headed off to a Pokemart, and when they came back, Dad was holding a Premier Ball. They gave it to me, saying that I should have the honors of Catching him, and I tossed it underhand at Ryu. He jumped up and hit the Button on the Premier Ball, and went into it eagerly, allowing it to Catch him. We were inseparable from that day forward. When I was Fifteen, Professor Redwood sent me a Letter saying that I'd been accepted into the Academy, and we started packing the next day. Ryu and I finished packing the necessities, and we headed off to the Academy. Team Reference:
