  1. Sign-ups close TOMORROW, November 1st, 7 AM EST. Get your signups done today! http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18194

  2. Sign-ups close this weekend! I will not accept late entries, so get going or get out. http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18194

  3. They do not get their own badge. Whoever signs up here, is to be a reserve leader, meaning they're free to challenge the League whatsoever, but when they're needed on duty, they have to be able to fulfill their duty.
  4. If you've given it to your Pokémon once before, it was probably consumed and cannot be re-obtained anymore.
  5. Just over 3 days remaining, blablabla. Read for more info; http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18194

  6. All these suggestions that will never get implemented simply because it's too much work, I suggest you build a game from scratch and implement all your wild and crazy ideas.
  7. Four days remain until applications close. I suggest you bring your best Grass/Fairy/Ice teams within rules if you're interested! http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18194

  8. Once applications close, I'll work out something that would/should be able to benefit everyone to get their battles done asap.
  9. There's a pinned thread in Reborn City named "Where do I go" or something along those lines. If you need directions, go there.
  10. This is far from a bug, mind you. Cincinno has extremely high speed and a moveset that can take out just about anything. It also has the Ability Skill Link, which makes it so that multi-hitting moves like Tail Slap/Rock Blast will always hit 5 times.
  11. You can only apply for one type. You can, but when you're required to be active, you must be active.
  12. The aces are required to be on the teams at all times. Reserve or not.
  13. Yeah, my brain somehow mixed up Torterra with Serperior >> It's fixed now.
  14. So this extremely important for those who have submitted their applications to me, please read it! http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18194&page=2entry438077

Following those guidelines, I made a pretty good Fairy team, if I do say so myself. I won't submit my application because of university, but I will probably make a RMT out of it in the future :)

  15. Okay, I dun goof'd and forgot to actually mention that you have to use the leaders' ace Pokémon on your team whenever you try out! Q__Q Read below real quick to see what has to be on your team: Grass-leader needs a Fairy-leader needs a Ice-leader needs a I'm so sorry for those who didn't know! I'll extend the application date by another day so you all have another day to prepare!
  16. Yes. You can choose to start over, but you forfeit your challenges for the upcoming weekend. We put that restriction there to prevent people from "scouting" leaders' teams and learning what battle format they use. That being said, people are given ONE freebie, but I might just put a time-limit on it when we start off, something like a month or two to use your freebie, or it expires or something. Creating Trainer Cards is also very time-consuming, they have to be made manually, so yeah. I've also seen an interview from our reporter and it looks.. Promising, I guess. I haven't read the full thing because time isn't exactly on my side, but I'll ask Mr. Gallade to post it in his own thread.
  17. As far as I'm aware, they're not available after you've done that. You could've bred them as Magmar/Electabuzz and then done the quest.
  18. 5 days remaining until applications close. Read more here: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18194

Wait what happened to the 3 of those types who were selected?

Nothing yet, I believe this is just for Reserve Leaders.

  19. You should keep all your updates in a single thread, instead of creating new ones over and over whenever you reach a certain point.
  20. Slightly hungover Dashie says: Applications are slow, feel free to read the last thread I made in Victory Road and possibly apply!

  21. I disapprove of this for various reasons. - OP is copying work from two other in-progress guides (one being outdated, one being newly made) - The grammar. Call me nit-picky, but grammar is very important when making an actual guide. And call me a nit-picky person when it comes to grammar, but your grammar isn't exactly top-notch from what I've "read" so far. - You are literally copying bits and pieces from other people's guides and claiming them as your own. The image with the red circle and red arrow and the books? The exact same image used in Chubb's guide. Same image link, I checked. - Your so-called claim regarding the matter of the books in the Grand Hall corrupting your savefile? False. Your character simply gets frozen exactly two steps to the right of the books. Which leads to the next thing; knowledge on the game itself. Now I don't know whether you've completed Episode 15.1 or not, and quite frankly, I don't really care whether you do or did not. It seems you're quite literally copying whatever Chubb is currently writing up in his guide and adding a few images here and there to make things looks fancy. I'm expressing this again, you're literally taking bits and pieces from other people's hard work and claiming them as your own "guide".
  22. By "whole thing", you mean the League by itself? League pretty much only runs during weekend periods and season 1 will probably last for a few months, I can't really give specific numbers, considering we currently have no set time, we want to give people enough time, so I think at least half a year would be very doable. But yes, you are required to be available during the weekends. Given the restrictions and limitations, feel free to try out. Did you even read what I posted? I quote: "This is serious business and I do not want to waste my time with people who hesitate and think they don't have what it takes." This means I will not even look at comments like yours, who have obviously not read the entire thing. - We don't have positions for the Fire-type leader available. - There is no such thing as a combination in Fire/Grass, you're bound to a monotype. - I do not accept casual players whatsoever. PM's are slowly flowing in, so once again, if you think you can handle this as professional battler, feel free to PM me, be it on here or on the server.
  23. I really don't think there's a third guide needed, when the one made by Chubb has already been pinned. You're free to keep going, but don't expect much out of it as of now.

Eh, wasn't it for my busy schedule at uni I'd actually consider this...

  24. Gather round, gather round, I actually have some rather exciting news for everyone! We're like, close to being ready (yes, I know I keep saying this, but I mean it this time), but to not put a giant bundle of stress on all of our leaders, we've decided to take on two of the people from the community to assist us. Do you think you have what it takes to hold a position in the Redemption League? Do you not crack under pressure? Do you think you can stand up to some of Reborn's finest battlers in fierce competition? Then try your hand at trying to secure a spot in the Redemption League! We're currently looking for a maximum of two competitors who think they can handle being a top-notch battler, given certain circumstances. If you think you're suited for the job, feel free to toss me a PM with your Showdown name and which of the following types you think you can create a Monotype-team for that will get you through a short trial period: Grass, Fairy and Ice. So keeping things simple for those who don't read: You choose either Grass, Fairy or Ice as your type and create a team with one of these types, in monotype format, without a Mega Evolution or legendary Pokémon. If you don't think your battling standards are worthwhile, don't bother shooting me with a PM. This is serious business and I do not want to waste my time with people who hesitate and think they don't have what it takes. Now, there are some very strict rules I must enforce here, because again- We don't play games at Redemption HQ. If you're trying for one of these positions, you must abide by these rules at all times: - Your team must be according to Redemption League standards, this means no legendary Pokémon, no Mega Evolution for these leaders specifically and only 3 of the same item per team allowed. - We expect you to meet a certain requirement when you try out. By requirement, I mean that you will face off against 7 different teams, used by members of the Redemption League team (not the leaders, but the actual staff themselves) and you are required to achieve one of the following: 5 wins or 36 KO's scored, spread across all 7 battles. - I have to express this once more because people might not read everything I type out; You are not allowed to use a Mega Evolution or legendary Pokémon. For a full ban list & additional rules you have to uphold, open this spoiler tag: - Everyone is free to apply through me by sending me a PM with the position they will try out for. But be warned, we will select a handful of people who can actually proceed with this. In fact, we will only allow ten people to participate in this. It's not a "first come, first go" thing, we will go through every single applicant and discuss accordingly. Oh and one more thing before I end this off- Your team should be prepared for anything. From weather teams, to stall teams or even hyper offense. Feel free to create a team in whatever battle style you wish, be it singles, doubles or triples. You guys, gals and non-binaries have until 2 PM next week Saturday (the 31st) to send me your applications abiding the rules and explanation I have given in this thread. I wish you all good luck if you're competing, and I'll be seeing you on the battlefield! PS: Oh wait, one last thing.. We're keeping track of the scores and whatnot, if there happens to be an exact tie between people, they will fight head-on against eachother. I.. Forgot to mention something really important; You have to use the leaders' ace Pokémon in your respective teams when trying out for them! For Grass, you have to use Serperior on your team. For Fairy, you have to use Sylveon on your team. For Ice, you have to use Aurorus on your team. Okay that's really it, cya!
