"Slade, get up, we gotta go! Come on." Slade felt a tapping on his shoulder, so he took off his headphones which were booming loud music (to hear what slade heard put your volume up to 100% and play it) and opened his eyes and saw a Haxorus right besides him. He looked at it for a while then he said. "So what, do you want me to do something or are you just going to stare at me?" Slade said not really intimidated by the Dragon. If he really wanted to hurt Slade he wouldn't of tapped him in the first place, he'd probably just attack. Then he heard Devin's voice. “Well, apparently I was too late. They change their so called territory every year,” "Oh, so you're Devin's that's what I thought. Well, if you'll excuse me I have a song to get back to." Slade said about to put back his headphones on but was then wing attacked by Avis to the face, "OW! Avis what was That for, all i did was sit down and listen to music." Slade said a little angry. Then he had just noticed Robert and Shiro talking to each other. 'I'll just sneak off to Danielle and Jacob, they should be done by now.' Slade thought as he crept away from the two guys talking to each other and went toward Danielle, "So what did I miss?" Slade asked running up next to Danielle, "Seems like there was a battle here. did you attack the Haxorus?" Slade asked with his head phones still booming.

Slade had no idea anything was happening due to his headphones being turned up to max and his eyes closed head banging to the loud music. He had returned Flare to his pokeball so no one could warn him. So he sat behind a tree listening to his music unaware of the dragons fighting his friends.

Slade was uneasy at the situation, never would he have expected this to happen. Slade decided it would be best for him to stay behind, and he could catch Danielle's subtle hint of him not intervening in this matter. So he sat down behind a tree putting Corona in his arms trying to comfort her because she was obviously frightened by the turn of events.

Slade noticed that Danielle went off and assumed she found Jacob he the said to Flare, "I think Danielle found him." Then they went besides her and saw what looked like Jacob being comforted by his pokemon, Avis, and another guy which he doesn't know the name of. 'Something's off here.' Slade thought to himself hiding behind some cover.

"Ok, Flare continue with the running!" Slade said as he and Flare ran off again. Hopefully Danielle can keep up.

As Slade was running through the forest he heard a chirping, and then he remembered that Corona was on his head from before, "Flare slow down for a sec." He said stopping to pick up Corona from his hat. "Sorry," he said to the shaking bug, "I kinda forgot you were still on my head." Slade said with slight chuckle then he heard a voice coming from behind him. "Slade, wait up!" It was Danielle, she was a little behind but a little can go a long way in this forest. 'We shouldn't go too far apart, I'll wait for her.' He thought to himself as he waited for the slowpoke to get over to where he is.

"Uh..." Zolivar sat there trying to make sense of the situation, 'Why is there a giant glowing spider,' He thought to himself, 'and why does it want to know my name? Eh, I don't see whats the problem with telling him my name.' He stood up and said, "The name is Zolivar Nix!" then he did an over the top salute with his pointer and middle finger, and with the rest of his fingers tucked in. He then began to limp down to the group. He must have hurt his leg was the building fell on him.

"Well, if tracking him from the sky isn't working then we'll sniff him out." Slade said with a smirk on his face. He took Flare's ball and released him. Flare yipped as the white sparkles from coming out of the ball appeared. "Flare, try and see if you can find Jacob's scent then follow it." He sniffed around for a while occasionally spinning around. Then he got the scent trail and did a bark affirming that he did. "Great lets go!" He said looking at Flare. He then looked at Shiro and said, "You don't have to come if you don't want to, it may get dangerous in there. Danielle, I'm sure 100% going. But really you don't have to endanger yourself." He said concerningly to the boy. "Anyways, less time here the better. Flare, follow that trail!" Slade said adjusting his fedora and Flare yipping. The two went off the trail of Jacob's scent and proceeded into the forest.
