  1. Wait, so how does that work with Half-Elves? Do they also go through the Greying, and is it even more painful because they are part Human, or is the curse's effect halved because they're only half Elf?
  2. We can't leave you behind, Helze thought in her mind for Blue to hear as she grabbed her gear and headed to meet the others, Hunter following suit, though she nearly slammed into a wall as she was still in a sort of daze from her nightmare. Huffing in annoyance, she took her place by Jupiter and Odin, looking Marcus in the eye. "Is everyone here?"
  3. Good luck with yer interview, Boss Chim! Don't forget your lucky rust anchor!
  4. ... D'aaaw, Uncle Jerry, that's actually pretty sweet-sounding. Whaddya think, Auntie Hilda?
  5. I think I've found my favorite field (though it looks like it'd be a pain to battle in).
  6. The.. submissive one in a relationship. >> That's the gist of it. Be quiet, PWB.
  7. Whatever Raiza did to placate the angry Scorpion Pokemon didn't budge it one bit, as it kept nipping and snapping at the girl. Unfortunately the curious Deino had bounded over to sniff the strange new Pokemon. "Toothless, don--" A guttural cry of pain sounded as the Skorupi had managed to nab the poor Deino right on the snout. Indignant, Toothless snarled at the mean Pokemon, backing away just enough as though he were ready to fire. He seems pretty focused right now, though. It looks like the nip was a blessing in disguise. Hm... I can use this! "You wanna get 'er, bud? All right, let's do this, pon!" So the Heatmor and this stupid Deino wanted a fight, then? Skorupi hissed and raised her claws defensively. She would show these two! Both Deino and Skorupi glared at each other from across the battlefield as the Horsea, Goomy, and Bidoof watched during this break. They hadn't really seen a Skorupi before and watched it carefully, as one would a new and suspicious object. The Skorupi moved first, and quickly, firing what looked like little stingers from her tail. "Toothless, blast them with Dragonbreath!" A hot blast of energy came from the Dark-Dragon type's mouth, destroying the Pin Missile attack and continued to engulf the Poison-Bug type, who bore the attack defiantly. When the breath attack had passed, she emitted a shrill noise, making both Raiza and Toothless wince. "Ignore it, Toothless, and use Earth Power!" The ground cracked and spewed soil up into the air towards the Skorupi, who immediately climbed up a tree and leapt off it towards her target, chirping a war... chirp as she went. "That's really reckless of you, you know, pon?" Raiza called out. "Toothless, Fire Fang!" Sparks jumped from his fangs before they burst into flames as he chomped down on the airborne Pokemon, who cried out in pain. What were they still doing over there when there was a battle over here?! Lucifer hovered over impatiently, seeing the battle. Wanting to get Raiza's attention, he bumped into her multiple times from different directions before knocking her bag upside, some items like Potions, Berries and a Poke Ball falling out. "Lucifer!" the girl cried out, reaching down to pick all her things up before anybody could snatch them up. Toothless gave a cry of surprise, making his Trainer look over to see where the Skorupi was, a Pokeball sat instead, rocking in its spot. Then it gave off the distinct ding, indicating a successful capture. Sighing, Raiza picked the ball up. "Uhm... Well... Looks like you're part of the team now, pon," she said, and released the Skorupi from its ball. Refusing to meet her new Trainer's eyes, the Skorupi kept her tail up in the air. Toothless, in turn, took one sniff in her direction and snarled. "This is going to take some work," Raiza said, deflated.
  8. Earth. It swallowed her. The ranger tried everything-- keeping off ground, swinging and dangling from vines, but eventually even the Forest decided to devour her, right after picking the flesh off of a Dire Wolf's bones clean. Helzebeth was cut up all over, bruised in some places, now waist deep in the ground that seemed to suck her very soul first out of her body. The harder she tried to get free, the tighter the vines wrapped around her wrists and body, until soil filled her mouth and nothing but her hand was left sticking up out of the now still dirt, as though it had always been that way... The Half-Elf woke up with a start, her face flushed, chest heaving as though she hadn't breathed at all in her sleep, as though she really had been nearly choked to her death. Hunter was already awake, his fur bristling even as he came over from Helzebeth's feet to lie by her side and lick her face reassuringly, like he knew what she had dreamt. Gently, the girl stroked her dear companion, sitting up, and smoothing his fur though her heart pounded and thrummed heavily. It was only a hunch of hers, and it could've been validated as she was on a quest for the Titan's Skin. She was probably going to hate the sight of soil and rocks for a long time, after this journey.
  9. ... I'm starting to wonder if I should give you cookies to placate you, or to start teaching you to behave rather than making it seem like I'm "rewarding" you for being violent. If this methodology proves to be fruitless, then I shall stop bring cookies. *tosses cookie* Catch, Absol.
  10. I'll post about catching Achlyx later, I'm working on something right now
  11. Look, this is the way to do it... *pulls out a fresh batch of macadamia nut cookies* Absol, this plate of cookies is yours IF and only IF you promise to behave yourself. Okay?
  12. After another round of throwing tornadoes at each other, Raiza decided they'd have to resort to another strategy. These wild Pokemon were pretty smart and held their formation just like her team's-- Toothless was the slowest, but, according to his stats, he was the best physical attacker of the three. Like the Knight of the team. Lucifer was the Mage or Spellcaster, backing up Toothless with his special attacks, and Rogue was the Assassin, doing most of the speeding around to intercept attacks. Now, not only were these three with a type advantage over her Pokemon and aligned to the Pokemon that they were strong against, but it seemed that they knew their strengths and arranged themselves in an optimal formation. The Trainer snapped her fingers-- the Horsea was the problem as she would deflect Lucifer's attacks with Twister or douse them. "Got it," Raiza said. "Lucifer, Rogue! Aurora Borealis!" Immediately, the Sneasel got to it, whipping up frigid winds, while spots of light flashed in different colors, courtesy of the Litwick. Glamorous lights streaked across the now frosty air towards the opposing trio-- again, in an attempt to deflect the oncoming attack, Horsea whipped up a wind of its own, blowing away the cold tempest... only to be dazzled by the lights along with her teammates. "Light works differently, see, pon? All right, while they're dazed! Toothless, Earth Power!" Complying with gusto, the Dark-Dragon cried out, bringing his front legs down, the earth cracking and exploding before the trio. The movement of the ground discombobulated them even further and dealt some good damage-- now they just had to finish the job. Then a clicking, chirping noise sounded. Raiza turned, and recognized the pincers and tail. "A Skorupi? What's it doing here, pon? Time out, guys! This little critter might get caught in all this," she cried out as she ran to the Pokemon before it'd get caught in the fire. Immediately, the Deino followed, bounding over, to sniff the new scent, while Rogue and Lucifer held their positions as their opponents recovered. The latter warmed up the air again back to its normal humidity-- he knew Dragons didn't really like the cold, and he didn't want to be attacked by a full-fledged adult Dragonite, no matter how goofy it looked. Something big was coming. It looked like a mean Heatmor-- without a long tongue, which was strange. Nevertheless it was probably coming to eat her... but she wasn't about to go down without a fight. The Skorupi raised its tail defensively, hissing at Raiza, thinking that the latter must've followed her from home, back in the desert. "Shh, shh, hey, I'm not going to hurt you," said the Heatmor. Which, again, was strange-- Heatmor aren't supposed to be able to talk. Maybe it was something more dangerous. The Poison-Bug type held her ground firmly, waving her pincers up as if to nip at Raiza.
  13. Sensei said that we'll be reaching Farreach within the night, so it's time to wrap up interactions... but he also said that there'd be more chances for interactions later
  14. If it's okay, you can still control the Horsea, Bidoof and Goomy.. or swap 'em out for other Pokemon XD And all right then, so I'm keeping Confuse Ray for the time being
