That's probably due to that Trick Room has a limit in the games.

You can destroy Trick Room in the games... you have to use Trick Room again while Trick Room is already set up. Good luck getting the opponent to do that, unless your willing to waste a moveslot on a Pokemon specifically so you can destroy Trick Room when it comes up.
