      Just generally hate that we do animated banners without a way to switch them off (save for last update having a totally different theme, which I guess is better than nothing). Really there's no reason for it outside a bunch of unnecessary lag and a little bit of novelty for the first couple days of an episode release

    The three girls stepped out of the car, the older man who served as Felicity's driver told them not to worry about their luggage and led them up to the door of Felicity's imposing mansion. There was something unnatural about it, something eerie, exactly what would be expected of an author who wrote Lovecraftian horror stories and lived deep in a forest. The inside of the house was dark, lit sparsely by dull red lights, with not a single window un-curtained. Strange paintings lined the walls, and even stranger sculptures were displayed on pedestals that seemed to be placed at random.

    So I've seen a lot of people talking about how pop music has gotten objectively worse and pointing to the fact that there's less and less variation in music as time goes on

     

    But, if there's a "right" way to make music, then inevitably more and more music would move towards it, meaning that the best music would have the least variety, not the most

     

    That doesn't mean I necessarily believe it's better or worse, just that if we're going to claim there's an objectively correct way to do music, then it would be the most refined and least varied music

      A slightly click bait article on what you have mentioned. Yes, it's true that production is what makes pop music. To be fair, it's not very easy to come up with simple four by for melody which will stick in a person's head, which is what pop music trying to achieve with it's hook and repeated chorus. A good ear for melody will be appreciated in whatever form. Steven Wilson had also mentioned that pop music has everything that good music should; except substance, That's what makes it more entertainment and less art.

      Pretty much agree wholeheartedly with what you've said. My issue is essentially people trying to say there's a correct way to do art because they dislike the overlap between art and entertainment
