(OOC: Hope you don't mind if I manipulate the terrain slightly, I'm fairly certain none of this breaks either of your posts. This is actually how one of the malls here is set up, with an open spiral staircase and open balconies in the center of each floor until you reach a certain height above the lobby)
Onyx
"No, you didn't sound like you were joking." Onyx said dejectedly.
And that's when she heard it, a loud clamor resounded from across the mall. Racing up an open staircase was man, but he wasn't the source of the noise. The noise came from the rampaging beast following behind him. Onyx froze in fear, it wasn't just a dog, it was a massive freaking monster dog. Archer's words had done nothing to describe the sheer horror of the beast. And yet, somehow the fact that it was a monster helped calm Onyx's nerves. If she thought about it as a monster rather than a canine, she was able to calm her nerves. She took several deep breaths and then swung into action. She sprinted full speed towards the staircase, she wasn't sure if she could make it in time, the staircase eventually reached past the open ceiling of the lobby area and into the upper echelons of the mall, once her quarry passed that point she would be unable to execute her plan. As she ran she pulled a silver barrette out of her pocket and slotted it into her hair on the left. She kept watch above her as she neared the staircase, the man had two more levels to go before he passed out of her reach, she could make that. With one last burst of speed she reached the staircase, but instead of attempting to climb them she jumped onto the railing. She didn't stay there long though, she immediately backflipped off them and began shooting upwards. If she had timed it right, the man would be on the outer edge of the spiral staircase right about now. She twisted herself around and right as she passed him reached out her arms and grabbed him under the armpits, dragging him out into the open air.
Onyx's shoes collided sharply with the ceiling, but she managed to avoid falling off from the impact. Without hesitation she began running--well, as close to running as she could get holding a man in front of her while upside down--away from the staircase. Although upside-down, Onyx moved extremely naturally for being on the ceiling, even her hair was unaffected by the reverse in gravity thanks to the enchanted hairclip. Although having a man's face ram into her chest with every stride made her look a lot more awkward than usual.
"As much as I'd like to just kill you right now, I think it would be better if we worked together to take out Berserker." She said, quickly adding, "Then I'll kill you."
She wished she could find a better way to carry the other master, looking around his torso to see where she was going felt extremely uncomfortable.
