While it's set in the same place with the same basic system, it's also an alternate universe which allows me to do whatever I want with the lore without screwing up F/R Cut off date would probably be around 1900 or so (in F/GO there's Calamity Jane who died in 1903, as far as I know that's the most recent a servant has come from... Excluding shit like EMIYA of course) And TY, I saw David in F/GO and was like, "Ooh, Ruler Solomon"
