  1. Ok so I believe a Garchomp with Swords Dance would be better off instead of Fire Blast, mainly because it does have access to a Lum Berry anyway. You have Talonflame to get rid of Scizor and Ferrothorn. Swords Dance+Stealth Rock is kind of unexpected as well, so you can potentially grab some OHKOs if you're unpredictable. I added Thunder Wave and Hidden Power [ice] for Thundurus mainly because pseudo BoltBeam coverage is really good. Thunder Wave helps Garchomp and Keldeo sweep if they need too. I don't think you would find Focus Blast and Dark Pulse amazing unless you really want to hit Latias/Latios or Tyranitar harder, but you should have enough power regardless. Feel free to replace Thunder Wave if you do not think you'll need to outspeed anything relevant. You can potentially lose to Dragon Dance users though, so be careful if you do not run Thunder Wave. I recommend a slightly more bulkier Talonflame set while still being fast and a heavy hitter. You outspeed Thunderus-I before it can hit you back which is really nice. Here's the import of the changes I made for it. Good luck with the team.
  2. Mega Gyarados can be a problem if Thundurus isn't on the field. I would suggest having Thunder wave over nasty plot or dark pulse. Hidden Power Ice is also a good option instead of Thunder Wave if landorus-therian is touble. Just some minor changes, but a overall nice team! I'll list better changes when I get on a computer.
  3. Custap has been released about 1-2 months ago, I believe? It's valuable item especially on Wobbuffet since it can almost garuntee a kill safely.
  4. Mega Scizor can work with this team since it has reliable recovery and good priority. Has Destiny Bond ever worked out in certain situations when Tickle+Encore hasn't? I think Wobbuffet can benefit from another item like Custap Berry if you run Destiny Bond. I'll edit or comment more if I have any other suggestions. sorry for shitty suggestions. I'm not on my computer now, and I can't think of any major issues without it. ><
  5. I think there is a better EV spread if you choose to run Timid on Celebi, but I'll explain it when I get on my computer. I had Tickle on Wobbuffet so Metagross and Tyranitar will be able to revenge kill with pursuit. Without Tickle, the team won't be as effective. You should replace Tyranitar for a Choice Scarf Keldeo if Bisharp is a problem. Although you lose a Latias/Latios check, you are able to handle Bisharp way better. Plus, Metagross and Azumarill are fantastic checks to Lati twins anyways. I'll edit my post if I got more stuff to say
  6. Ok, got the teams done! Chubb the Pig, I don't play NU at all, so I can't make a good team with Grumpig due to my limited knowledge in the NU tier. Sorry :[ Regirock+Rotom-Heat is pretty cool together. Take on both sides of the defense is really nice. On top of that, Cresselia and Togekiss can take care of Landorus-I and Latias/Latios that are pretty annoying. Gastrodon is one of the underrated mons that happens to check Keldeo. It's pretty awesome since you don't have to worry about Scald burns. Altaria cleans up late game when everyone gets rid of its checks and counters since a boosted Frustration does not mess around,,, Lopunny and Diggersby are heavy hitters if the former has a Mega Evolution up. What if they were boosted? Celebi can give Lopunny or Diggersby a Swords Dance when it uses Baton Pass. Those three will do some work together. Keldeo and Heatran hit the more defesive orientied pokemon better and have great synergy with Celebi. Chomp's job is to get rocks up and be annoying to Talonflame. Nice and solid rain team. Togekiss supports the team with t-wave support and to be a massive bitch with Air Slash. Swampert and Kingdra dent teams for each other which is really good. Politoed is mandatory for every rain team lol. Tentacruel and Ferrothorn set up hazards and gradually decrease the opponent's health. Aerodactyl outspeeds a whole bunch of shit right now. It can't hit much since its coverage is kinda lame, but with the right partners, Aerodactyl will clean up the mess the teammates created! Hippo and Ferro set up hazards and tank hits. Victini and Azumarill take down defensive cores together since their physical attack is so high. Finally, Latias is on the list to keep the team together. It Defogs hazards on both sides, but it's able to keep the team flow. So Gardevoir and Weavile are crime fighting partners. Let's take out some Dragon types eh? Anyway, you should lead with Garchomp or Ferrothorn and try to get up many hazards as you can. That should leave holes for either Gardevoir, Weavile, or Victini to come in and blast some faces with powerful STAB moves. Latias is usually the most expendable mon, so it has Healing Wish to bring something in fresh and safe!
  7. Yeah. I talked to Chaos about that, I told him to replace Sylveon's Baton Pass for Hidden Power Fire. I should probably correct that here, but eh
  8. You can use Kyurem-Black or Choice Scarf Landorus-Therian instead of Landorus-I. They don't serve the same role, but it shouldn't be a big problem. I'll have the teams ready later tonight!
  9. Here is the rest of the squads,,, I don't know how well this team is, but anyways,,, Play safely with Entei and bluff a Choice Band. That way, if opponent thinks your locked into a single attack, you switch up and kill something. Raikou gains momentum with Volt Switch and is a nice bird check. Skarmory and Garchomp is a great defensive core and work together to bring up hazards for the team. Suicune is kinda passive, but it makes the opponent switch with Roar, and rack up some entry hazard damage. Power team. You wall a lot of stuff with Togetic and Cresselia. Things like Talonflame are shit though, so Manaphy can threaten them with a stab Scald and it's a wrap. Tornadus-Therian and Ferrothorn benefit from the rain as well since you can't miss Hurricane and weakens Fire attacks. Moonlight+Rain is bad though, but it's how the team is. Altaria sweeps late game! Simple as that Pretty much putting offensive pressure right from the start. When Garchomp sets up rocks, make sure you use good prediction and force the opponent to switch out a lot. When Braviary comes in, make sure you're able to outspeed to set up, obviously. Not much to say for this team since it's pretty easy to use if you know what you're doing,,,
  10. Ok, let's get this work done!!!!!!!!!!!! If there are any questions concerning the team, just shoot me a message and I'll get to you when I can! So this is what you do. Lead with Empoleon and get up rocks as soon as you can. Then proceed to switch accordingly with the strong Volt-Turn with Pidgeot, Raikou, and Victini. This team is weak to hazards, so use Empoleon to Defog them away and set up Stealth Rock if that is necessary. Clean up late game with Keldeo or Landorus-Therian and call it a snack wrap,,, Exeggutor is gonna crush some souls, I swear! Who's coming in safely against this monster??? Scizor and Ferrothorn can die to Charizard-Y and Talonflame, thank you very much,,, Starmie is a great spinner for the team because Klefki and Garchomp are the hazard users. Goal is to dent as much shit as you can with Egg plant, and sweep with Talonflame or Charizard-Y late game. Lead with Chomp and get rocks up. Swords Dance is used on this set to catch opponents off gaurd. If played well, Garchomp is going to murder souls. The rest of the team follows up after chomp. Use Magnezone to get rid of shitty steel types like Ferrothorn and Skarmory so Gardevoir and Diggersby have a easier time sweeping. Yeah, I looked up Pagan stuff as well, and idk what that even means, so here's a nice and powerful Balanced sqaud or something. Set up hazards with Chomp and Klefki, since they got some great team synergy with each other. Use Starmie as a way to get around Keldeo and spin hazards off your field. idk what Electabuzz and Magmar do, but you get some nice momentum with Volt turn and hit back Tyranitar with Focus Blasts. Altaria is the late game sweeper and takes Latios/Latias. Yo Sparky, I don't play LC, so I can't make a good Exeggcute team or else it would be shit otherwise. But I did make a Exeggutor team instead. It's in this post somewhere! So this really isn't a 'good team' tbh, because Bisharp can shit all over the 'Mew expies'. I did try my best to give them great sets that could crush souls. Diancie is on the team since it does have 600 Base stat, but it's HP and Speed are 50 and 50 pre-mega. Mega Diancie is the late game cleaner. Good luck! Set up some nice hazards with Excadrill and Skarmory. Use Excadrill to pivot into special attackers and rapid spin hazards of your field. Proceed to slow threats down with Thundurus' Thunder Wave. It's a reliable check to stuff like t-flame and mega pinsir. Have a field day with the power fire/grass/water core with magmortar/gyara/serperior. Lead with Clefable and set up stealth rock. Proceed to force many switches with the team, because this team is offensive as hell other than clefable. Use Durant to lure in threats and use Baton Pass to make a escape into a more safer switch in. Mega Gallade and Latios clean up easily. Try not to let Talonflame set up, but it shouldn't be a problem, as Landorus can lure flying types and hit them with Rock Slide. I thought Sylveon is a interesting mon. Specs+Hyper Voice STAB doesn't play any games. Togekiss and Sylveon both learn Baton Pass, so you can grab some momentum and get in a threat safely. Togekiss gets Nasty Plot as well, so it can potentially pass a boost to Keldeo which destroys souls with a fabulous Scarf~ Chomp is a pivot, so it can switch in whenever to get rocks up and threaten birds. Scizor and Landorus are the late game cleaners. Pretty offensive team tbh,,, At first, I thought Mega Ampharos is shit because it's so slow. Plus, there are plenty of better dragons out there. However, I changed my mind when I saw it got Mold Breaker. Congratulations. It is now a badass stallbreaker. Use Mew to pass a Nasty Plot to Ampharos so it can crush souls. Of course, Ampharos can't do everything by itself, so Keldeo and Mamoswine break through nasty ground types that makes Ampharos sad. Chandelure and Tornadus-Therian is on the squad so you don't lose to Ferrothorn by default,,, Overall, it's a great team. Try to achieve a Mega Ampharos sweep is the plan here. The team is simple. You lead with Skarmory and get many hazards up as you can. Then you proceed to use powerful attacks and keep maximum offensive pressure. The team isn't supposed to take hits, so don't switch in recklessly even if you do resist the hit,,,
  11. So since today is Easter for some people, I'm going to make yet another teambuilding thread for this day! Request a pokemon/core/set for me to build around, and I'll work around that. It can be anything, but make sure the request is reasonable so I actually have something to work with,,, All requests for teams will be closed on Sunday, 9 PM EST. EDIT: Due to some shitty schedule, I'm ending this early. If you got any questions, just shoot me a message!
  12. You said that much better than I did haha. Anyway, it would be nice to have something brought back that doesn't involve teamwork. You're either carrying your entire team or vice versa, and that's no fun.
  13. This really isn't a 'Site/Forum' suggestion, but we should have a solo major battle tournament! Remember how League had multiple players getting to the top by beating all 17/18 leaders? That was the most successful battle competition thing we had. I think it's because it was multiple people of emerging victory from a challenge, rather than a entire group. I don't know if it makes sense or not, but it would be more enjoyable to win something by yourself rather than having a team win something. I'm not saying to bring League back, but I think it would really advertise the 'battle environment' Reborn can offer if we had some kind of solo major tournament. The lack of competitive activity is really low, and it's disappointing. Perhaps we can bring back ladder competitions? EDIT: Sorry if I'm confusing. If there needs to be some clarification, I'll do my best to fix my post.
  14. It's a pretty nice team, but I don't think the sets are effective at all. Here's what I'm thinking about the team. For Latias, I would use this set over your current one. I hope these changes improve your team. Good luck.
  15. Here are the teams for the rest of the people. Feel free to message me any questions! Let's put a ass mon, with 4 other ass mons, and slap a hazard remover. Team should be pretty simple to use,,, You're fucked by ghosts, Ferrothorn, and hazards, but what did anyone expect? So Growlithe is pretty much the best Metagross check on this team. -1 252 Atk Mega Metagross Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Growlithe: 122-144 (38.9 - 46%) -- guaranteed 3HKO You're pretty much applying offensive pressure while Garchomp and Growlithe can somewhat take physical hits. Serperior and Manaphy should be able to sweep once you apply enough damage. Offensive Scolipede is amazing and should be used more, since it can OHKO Charizard-Y, Talonflame, Mega Pinsir, all sorts of 'counters' that would normally beat Scolipede with Rock Slide. Great late game sweeper. I paired it with things that check flying and fire types that can be a annoyance for Scolipede. Wobbuffet is pretty cool. You can trap something and kill it right away, or you can cripple it. Use encore on a slow set-up mon like Clefable when it uses Calm Mind or something, and then switch into one of your sweepers and set up. Garchomp sets up Stealth Rock which helps break sashes, and Celebi comes in on Breloom more effectively to take Spore which can be a issue. I'm finished for today. Hope you liked some of these teams I guess lol
  16. Ok. Some pretty shit requests here, but let's get this work done. If you guys want a explanation for each mon on a team, go ahead and ask, but that isn't really necessary since I'm the top dog, and my teams are always powerful,,, For the Roserade team, you just pretty much hazard stacking against your opponent forcing switches with Victini, Mega Gyarados, and Tornadus-Therian. Pretty badass team tbh. Budew is pretty shit compared to the powerful Roserade, so pretty much replacing Roserade in the other team for a Budew,,, Goomy is one of those mons who is shit, but it's cute shit. Pretty solid rain team with powerful attacks from Latios,Swampert, and Toxicroak. Self explanatory team imo. Here's this really cool mono grass team. Just set up hazards with celebi and ferrothorn, and smack some souls with Serperior and Mega Venusaur. Cradily and Breloom support the team by hitting flying and fire types with Rock Tomb/Slide respectively. Pretty much you make your opponent's team weak until Sunkern can come in and sweep the entire team. Sunkern is weak as fuck, so it probably won't be doing anything at all anyway, so it's essentially a 5-6 by default, but whatever,,, SubSeed Tropius is so annoying, people would probably forfeit the moment they see the set. The rest of the mons support Tropius to be more annoying, and eventually get a sweep with Zard-X. Shuckle supports Hyper Offense teams nicely. Set up Sticky Web and Stealth Rock with Shuckle and have a party with the rest of the team. Good show!!!! Ferrothorn is pretty much going to sap away at the opponent's health and you can get team support with Mega Diancie and Latias to back off ugly hazards. Stall with Ferrothorn and you're able to use powerful attacks and defeat your inferior opponent. Set up Stealth Rock with Chomp, and proceed to sweep the enemy with Lilligant. Altaria and manaphy are good sweepers that go well with lilligant and kills fire types. Heatran beats stall and traps stuff with Magma Storm. Latias is just a resourceful mon to use!
  17. Since everyone has been impostering my identity as Fern, I figured I'm going to be showing I'm the Top Dog up in this place by making power squads. After all, I got the best teams in Reborn with my Serperior coming through everytime,,, Ask what mon you want me to build around, and a team shall come to you. Only doing this today so here is your chance.
  18. Bandwagon because I'm a motherfucking beast when it comes to being Fern
  19. Team is pretty cool with with this minor nitpick. Make sure Latias, Gengar, and Raikou have 0 Attack IVs to minimize the damage taken from confusion hax and Foul Play. (Latias and Gengar won't be taking Foul Plays well regardless, but it is costless to do so.) You said Drain Punch on Mega Lopunny helps you recover your HP which is really cool, but I prefer the power of High Jump Kick. Drain Punch is kinda weak only with 75 Base Power. If you still want Drain Punch, I would change Ice Punch for Power-Up Punch so you're sweeping and healing yourself at the same time. I would use this Gliscor spread over your current one. Dracula (Gliscor) (M) @ Toxic Orb Ability: Poison Heal EVs: 244 HP / 208 Def / 56 Spe Impish Nature - Protect - Earthquake - Toxic - Stealth Rock It outspeeds Adamant Bisharp and everything slower. Another optional spread is 244 HP / 116 Def / 148 Spe so you can outspeed Jolly Bisharp and Breloom, but you should be able to handle those threats anyway. 244 HP EVs allow you to gain the maximum HP recovery from Poison Heal. I also suggest for Talonflame Will-O-Wisp instead of Taunt if Mega Metagross threatens you. Most of your team members are able to check a variety of threats, but are not able to switch in reliably. Will-O-Wisp is a resourceful move to prevent physical attackers from sweeping you late game. I can't think of anything else at the top of my head that threatens your team. Scarf Keldeo might be a annoyance as nothing is a good switch in against it and Latias will be worn down easily. I will edit my post if I have anything else to say. Nice squad. Oh yeah, I would use Sludge Wave instead of Sludge Bomb. It's only 5 base power higher, but it is the stronger poison move. The 30% chance of poison from Sludge Bomb is also nice as well. Just something to note
  20. rofl Kamina (Togekiss) (F) @ Quick Claw Ability: Serene Grace EVs: 240 HP / 16 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Roost - Air Slash - Thunder Wave - Luck>Skill, 100% Accuracy with 90 BP followed with a nice 30% chance to freeze/flinch/confuse/burn/paralyze
  21. I don't really like the music video, but whatever lol
  22. Also, you need some sort of key to unlock the door to access Rotom and evolve Magnezone. It's either the Yureyu Key or Dull Key. Not sure which one it is, but one of them unlocks the door for your future Magnezone. EDIT: Yeah, Vlado Vladimir is correct. Ninja'd
  23. If I recall, you evolve Magneton by leveling up in Shade's gym. The catch is that you have to level up in the place where you encounter Rotom. Getting Magnezone will take a while depending on where you are at in the game.
  24. Hey guys, it's Lobos' Birthday! He's like really cool, so say Happy Birthday to him when you see him, yeah? :]]
