  1. Same here, the only sentence that popped up, the rest were just names... Although Google thinks I'm a painter from 18-19th century who lived where I live. Creepy.
  2. The only thing that's different on 10 for me is that sometimes, when entering a new part of the city around Opal, the game just...freezes for a short while (10 seconds or so) (whilst still playing music).
  3. You could pick up a Trevenant if you like. It's hidden under the waterfall. (in its non-evolutionairy form). I'm not sure if you can get a Magnemite, but if you can and learn it Flash (and a drifloon in Baton Passing minimizes and Stockpiles), you might be able to overcome something truly terrifying with that Swoobat.
  4. After hours of resetting, I finally have mined the last plate! :')

  5. Talk to everyone, and do as many quests as possible. Often, those give the items/mons around. Also, check everywhere on the ground/walls/rocks. The city is littered with (later) useful items.
  6. I think there was an old thread about this somewhere... Anyway, I just used Prankster Meowstic to ease it with Reflect, and Cofagrigus just takes it from there (WoW, Power Split, Curse, Hex/Shadow Ball). Easy win. (maximizing HP and Def with a Relaxed/Bold nature is optimal)
  7. Tfw you're appreciated more than you appreciate yourself.
  8. Ok. I just didn't want to miss walls blowing up because of this choice or something like that. Would've been a real pity if it was so.
  9. I bitch-blaze-kicked him after both of the choices eventually...unless you're supposed to lose against him... What I wondered was that, when he asks you if you'll give him a moment (not in the same cave as Luna), if it does matter whether you say yes or no.
  10. In doing a new run, besides testing Blaziken's OP-ness, I tried to look what the resolves were of some choices I didn't make (or which I knew about). While doing so, I came upon a (perhaps) small choice concering Bennett in Iolia Valley (somehow the Valley of Death, idk why). It was about whether you would leave him alone with Luna for a moment. As far as I looked, it only gave some small change in dialogue at that moment, but I didn't see any difference shortly after that (exactly the same lines with his confession). Since I couldn't find anything about this in an older thread, I wonder what the other consequences are, if there are any. If there aren't any, I still feel kinda mixed about it. I don't question his motives, but I don't think it would be the best for neither of them to just let him do so. What do you guys think? Even though we perhaps don't know how it affects the game later on (maybe when the game's completed), I still would like to know what would be better.
  11. TFW you try to mine a specific rare item.
  12. Yesterday someone told me a lot of masturbation jokes. I didn't like them, they just rub me the wrong way...
  13. Just one more plate and I caught 'em all...

  14. Well, looking at the nature you gave it (Modest, if that was intended), the only thing you have to decide is if shininess is more important than 10 extra SpD at level 100.
  15. Next episode will have move animations...check the discussion thread in the Developmene Blog in 'Reborn City'...as I type, there are still about ~110 animations or so to do. Also, if you haven't introduced yourself, feel free to do so in the Grand Hall.
  16. I'm not sure Hardy would like to work with Fern, though. Even if he would've been part of the team before his traumatized grasshole's ascencion to meteor-member, I'm not sure how loyal Hardy would be towards his 'comrades' after that happening. Or it's all a facade, and Hardy is a top-notch actor and/or manipulator.
  17. TFW you try to get those extra hours of sleep, only to be woken up by the sound of drills next to your door...
  18. Perhaps another aspect worth considering is good team-ups in double battles. For these EQ-abusers, it's important they don't hit their companions. Since Protect costs a slot and gives the opponent a bigger chance to hit these rather frail mons, pokemon with Levitate/Telepathy or Flying-types are the better options. So add suggestions for good team-ups type- and strategywise. For example: which of the two has the best synergy with Noivern? Flygon would make a pair of fast sweepers, while Diggersby only has a 2x Ice weakness, gets complemented by Noivern's Flying Stab, and coul make great use of Tailwind-support. Similar is Archeops, although it can't really support another mon. (P.S. I really don't have trouble breeding a good one, in fact I almost have one atm.)
  19. As the title might have already told you, I have trouble deciding which of the two is the better Ground-type. On one hand we have Tho. With a humongous attack and QA, it can really pack a punch, as (Huge Power held in account) 464 Atk at level 100 is something Flygon could only dream of (299 neutral, 328 beneficial). Flygon, on the other hand, is blessed with a 100 Base speed, meaning that, if well trained and bred, it outspeeds all of Charlotte's team (at least when I fought her), making her quite easy to beat. Levitate is also a good defensive ability. Bot the mons have similar bulk: Diggersby has a bit more HP, Flygon as slightly better defenses. Leaving out that Flygon is possibly outclassed offensively by Archeops, which of the two would be better? I have an incredible Diggersby, so for me it's deciding whether I should breed Trapinches or stick with what I got. Leave below which of the two you think is better.
  20. EDIT (double post because of added info after long time): I swapped Magical Leaf with HP Fire (still unsure about that decision), which makes Extrasensory/Giga Drain/HP Fire/Toxic Spikes. I'm inclined to change the Rose's ability to Technician. If Sludge Bomb becomes available, which move should I ditch (I know it ain't yet, but perhaps ep.16/17?)? Should I make some adjustments before I evolve it (or level it up to a certain level before doing so? I don't know if the Move Tutor would classify seen moves pre-evolution as relearnable, so...)?
  21. I thought Zeta/Omicron also had fake megas, but I'm not exactly sure. My game file crashed somewhere on a mountain closely before a main confrontation and couldn't be restored... Reborn indeed tries to give the player the same assets as in normal pokemon games. It would be very difficult for balancing and tactics if fake megas (besides the PULSEs) would pop up/be available.
  22. I was thinking about a more permanent member for my team, so although PS/DB Mismagius would be cool, it synergizes poorly with Cofagrigus (which is an awesome pokemon). IIt's a shame I missed the archeops, I shouldn't be so careless. I do have Kabuto, Omanyte and Anorith, but I'm not sure if they could do much (Especially Kabuto without Waterfall). I also heard you could somehow get Beldum, but I don't like blacking out, and losing half of my 70k pokedollars. I know Metagross is really solid, especially with BP on the Ice Field. Shame that Teleport was altered. I can try Noivern, though. However, I'm not sure it will do well againt the divine. I was perhaps thinking about Florges, too, but it has no way of crippling mons, iirc. Could someone also please tell me what event mons I should try not to miss before going to Agate (and tell where they are). I know I can get Chespin in 7th and Litwick at the cultists, plus all the Helix-quests. Perhaps Solosis and Rotom could be found after Luna (seeing that green crystal in Tanzan). I'm not sure if I want to do those damn web puzzles to get Galvantula/Heracross/Pinsir (Galvantula might fit well, though).
  23. TFW, after a couple hours of drying, your coat is still wet.
  24. TFW your nose is blocked by a cold, and your head feels fuzzy because of it.
